We just named our daughter Lorelai Clare with Clare being from County Clare in Ireland because we got married there on the Cliffs of Moher! We also plan on using Cobh (but spelled Cove since we live in the US) after the coastal town in Ireland for a middle name in the future!
Hey! I’m from county Galway. So a neighbour to county Clare! Cobh (cove) sounds beautiful! Ennis, is another town in county Clare and I think it sounds beautiful for a little girl :)
It’s good to keep in mind that what may be “edgy” and “exotic” to some is equally classic or vintage to others. Here in Arizona, with a large Mexican population, Francisco is extremely common…I’ve met many middle aged men with the name!😊
I like Iona for a girl. It’s a gorgeous Scottish island where I went on a spiritual/religious retreat there in the early 2000’s during my final year at uni, just before my last exams.
I love Avalon! Me and my partner considered it for our daughter as a very special place for us is Glastonbury which is known in folklore as the Isle of Avalon. I also like Denver for a boy. I've never been but love John Denver!
My best friend has a sweet baby boy named Hudson! ❤️ I’m partial to Eden (I love it for a girl). It’s definitely on my name list for the future! I love the idea of a biblical name, but many of them are either hard to pronounce, or are too popular for my liking. So I love that Eden is the best of both worlds. And I’m not sure how I feel about Jericho… but my husband loves it for a boy! Also a biblical one!
My babies have location names. My son's name is Caspian and I'm currently pregnant with a baby girl who will be named Sienna. I LOVE Capri but my hubby said "I'm not naming my child after 2000s pants" lmao
Zealand is actually a province in the Netherlands, spelled Zeeland here, pronounced Zay-land, and New Zealand was named after the Dutch one… hard to think of it as a name as a Dutchie XD Loved some of the names on this list!
So I’m not pregnant and many of you are not in the USA, so feel free to use this because our kids won’t be in the same class, but my favorite place name is Sonora (like the state in Mexico and the desert in the USA)! I might just use it since I live in that desert now, but I’m willing to share 😅
I was surprised to not see my daughters name on here actually! I have a baby girl called Alaska. Obsessed with it and Hudson is our boy name we chose as well :) fingers crossed for the next baby haha
One of my son’s middle names is Matlock after the English town, which we chose for both sentimental and meaning reasons. I also considered Emmett for the town in Idaho where my mom grew up.
I love your videos and thought for sure that if any, this is the one my name (Montana) would have made it into!! Oh well haha I absolutely love my name and all the nicknames for it! I also get complemented on it all the time, so others seem to like it too 😊 I love Holland and Emerald is also a town in Australia!
Holland, Oslo, Jericho, Salem, Topanga, Fairfax, Verona and Orlando are my favorites from this weeks list ❤ my name is Jordan which is also a place name and I always wanted my daughters and I to share that link. Where as with the boys I want them to have the hebrew connection like my name is :) love it. Loving Salem the most because its hebrew and a place name which connects my son and I to a future girl. Super into this place name trend.

My daughter is Adelaide, love place names on my list is Cuba, Peru, Pensford, Mendip, Auckland, colorado, Austin, dallas, Darwin, Brighton, Apollo, mooloolah (mooloulah), Brecon, Rome, Rhodes, Oakland,
my daughter’s name is Capri and i’m truly obsessed. it was my number one girl name for years and years before I had my daughter because I was just enamored with Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
I named my daughter Azore after the Azores. Pronounced a little bit differently in Dutch as it would in English but still so pretty for an English babe ♥️
Thank you for all of your creative ideas and inspirations for baby names! I am definitely stuck on our baby name journey. Would you consider doing a list of Mediterranean boy names ending in n?
Holland and Olympia are my favorite girls. Love Oslo or Denver for a boy. Also, like Delphi, and Salem. Also add Nevada, Arizona, Alaska. I like Wylie for a boy but its a city close to me so it feels too close.
Daughters name is Holland Rosalayne (Rosa-Lane). Holland, MI is where my husband and I had our first date♥️ middle name is after family. Would love some ideas you may have for a second baby! Currently trying to convince. I’ve been a big fan of yours for years 🥰 Praying for Naomi.
I taught a little girl in Sydney, Australia, whose name was Hana as her parents went to Hawaii for their honeymoon. I would have called a daughter, Diani after a stunning beach in Kenya, Africa. I spent time there in my 20s.
I would go with Powell after the beautiful Powell Valley we have lived, loved and raised our children in it's also the name of the river than runs through the valley. I also love Cumberland which is after the beautiful gap at then end of our state in the US where you can see into 3 states at once in the Cumberland Gap. I have always loved the name Avalon and was hoping it would be a part of the list and I was right 😊.
My son's name is Santiago Orlando, and we call him Santi. Santiago is named after Chile's capital since his father is Chilean. However, I never thought about the fact that Orlando is actually a place. But I guess we have two named after places then :)
Fairly certain Bah-lee is correct 😅 Only because here in Australia it’s a super popular holiday destination and that’s how the Indonesian people pronounce it
Our daughter ( Madi, who can’t stand her given name of Madison) wanted something truly unique. So for our granddaughter (our first grandbaby 💕), she & her husband chose the name Texas Victory. We use the name, Pacifica in the middle spot for one of our daughters. We live in California and did a coastal road trip for our honeymoon. I don’t know about Zealand. It doesn’t exactly sound like a name to me. I’m not that brave in her name or though. I know a little Avalon, and it makes me so happy! I love Santiago, Francisco, and Geneva!
My dad named me after the Eric Clapton song and I’ve always loved listening to it, now I have a daughter named Vaeda like the girl from the film My girl and my husband always sings her the song…..
One you didn't mention that I absolutely adore is Adelaide (Australia). Really really wanted to use it with the last girl I had but husband didn't like it as much as I did.
Oslo is pronounced oo-sluh and only o-slow by people who think it’s pronounced the way it looks though :p but it works as a name! Even if it reminds me of Onslow, Hyacinth Bouquet-not-Bucket’s brother-in-law (her sister Daisy) and there’s Rose and Violet (which is too close to violent for me but nice otherwise) but I don’t mind him so it’s fine heh
Great video! I know this comment is coming in late 😅 but I have yet to see this name on any list anywhere. My husband and I went to a wedding in Arizona last summer, and we spent some time in Sedona. We loved it so much, the name "Sedona" has made it onto our list of girl names for our baby girl due in August. My research has told me that it has no actual meaning, but the origin is the name of one of the first female settlers in Sedona in the 1800's. Not sure how I feel about the fact that there's no deep meaning, but I love how it sounds 😊
in honor of naomi your first baby name monday video could be japanese names (since naomi i believe had japanese origins) or names that start with N or maybe sister names.
As a dutch person; Holland is not a city, it's a province (actually two, since It's North and South Holland). Similarly Zealand (Zeeland) is also a dutch province. New Zealand was named after our Zeeland.
An Anne of Green Gables name list would be awesome!
Eden & Avalon would make good twin name ideas 😍
I was too poor to support my family until God connected me with Mr. David Martin who changed my life financially.

I really like the name Vienna for a girl, I think it’s so elegant
Me too! I used the French version Vienne as the middle name for my baby girl :)
I have a baby girl with this name ❤
I’d pick this for the Billy Joel song!
My 3 yr old is Vienna 😊 she is named after the Billy Joel song, which is about the city so double name sake for her.
Cute ❤ My last name is Vianna and I get lots of compliments and people saying they'd use it as a last name ❤

Genova can be a name a trendy name as well. We in Hungary write the city like this. This name could have a nick name Nova!! 🥰
