The absolute BEST vegan yogurt, the only one I like, is So Delicious PAIRINGS Key Lime Crumble!! It has to be the PAIRINGS style not the regular style. The graham and white choc mix in's are amazing with the key lime flavor. Best texture. Seriously the best you have to try!!
I appreciate that you all decided a neutral tasting yogurt like vanilla, but it's hard to taste a sweetened yogurt versus a non sweetened one. The forager cashewgurt is great for savory applications but not as a stand alone yogurt if sweetened yogurt is what you are looking for. Yogurts are cultured fermented milk at the end of the day and are naturally soured in taste. The thickness of the yogurt is always going to be wonky (too runny or too thick) because the way plant based milks react to the cultures. I look forward to seeing a future yogurt making video and see what exactly is you develop as your ideal yogurt. Absolutely enjoyed the comedy of this video, thank you for the share.
I know you didn't mean for this to be a comedy show but dang! I'm over crying, this is so funny! Thank you so much for another great video. You two are always fun to watch and so informative. Looking forward to more great food hauls and great recipes. By the way the Yoplait Oiu brand hit the mark on every flavor. I was shocked when I tasted it. The best on the market hands down. Try them folks you'll love them.
As a dairy eating yogurt hater I have to say Culina yogurt is so bomb. Like the flavored ones are actually so good. Plain yogurt is trash no matter what the base of it is.
I had to rewind a few times to watch Andrew's reaction again for a couple of these...omg so great. So glad you tasted all these for us. Thank you for your service. :D
I really appreciate this. I'm a mom who found out my little, who LOVES yogurt, has a dairy allergy. Honestly, its getting so much easier to find dairy free items in the past year.
I made the carrot coconut cake yesterday and it was phenomenal! I can’t bake at all but I followed the instructions and everyone was amazed! Truly every single recipe I’ve made off your site has been BANG ON! Thank you and I can’t wait till you guys have a million followers! Your recipes are the best on UA-cam! ❤️
LOL!!!!!!! You guys are so hilarious and enjoyable! Thank you so much for all the painful hard work to help us. So appreciate the info and entertainment! 🤣🤣
You did yourself a great disservice trying the plain yogurt from Culina. Their flavored yogurts are the best in the market in my opinion, especially the Grapefruit or Blueberry Lavender. I do prefer a thicker yogurt, so I do have a different preference. Maybe try a flavored one at some point to see if that changes your perspective.
I have yet to try the grapefruit one!!! I love Culina, but I've only tried the flavored ones, and I usually mix with nuts and chopped apples for a snack/dessert. :P
I feel like you need to give the Siggis one another shot. I think that's arguably the best non-dairy yogurt and has the best protein. The first taste is always weird for all the yogurts, but you have to keep trying it.
I tried the siggis mixed berry today and I really liked the texture but couldn't figure out if I hated the flavor or if it was growing on me. I finished the container and I think I landed on trying another flavor or only eating it with added fruit and granola. I agree that you need to try a few bites though.
Finally, someone else that acknowledges that most vegan yogurt is straight up garbage. you guys are great. Edit: my favorite is the Silk mango, by the way.
This was so funny to watch. As someone who likes greek yogurt cocojune, culina, and coconut cult are my favorite. The sourness is expected because of the style of yogurt it is. If sweet thin yogurt is your jam then eye can get why those aren't making the cut. In terms of probiotics and gut health coconut cult and culina are really amazing. Buying those constantly and seeing your reactions really goes to show how everyone's tastebuds are so different.
So delicious unsweetened is my go to hahahaha I can't believe you guys think it's worse than Forager!! Thank heavens we aren't limited to just one kind of yogurt these days or we'd all be out of luck
This video was hilarious lmao. The silk soy milk yogurts are the best! I like the vanilla flavor the most it’s so good. The strawberry and the peach mango are also really nice. The silk almond milk ones aren’t good though so make sure it’s the soy one. The so delicious yogurts are good too but you have to try the other flavors lol the ones you guys got are the worst flavors from them 😂 Try the peach, strawberry banana, raspberry, blueberry and the regular strawberry! They’re all really good. Btw the yoplait one you got is my other favorite as well! It’s amazing 😋 but it’s really hard for me to find anywhere unfortunately 😩
First of all, thank you for sacrificing your tastebuds for the rest of us! 😆 Second, this is the most hilarious and accurate video,I’ve tried some of these and those where my facial expressions as well! I will continue to stock up on Oui. If ya’ll do another yogurt taste test, instead of throwing them out I mask the nastiness in smoothies.😁
0:08 Andrew expressed exactly what I though to myself when I saw you upload this video: "Oh my god, why are they doing it to themselves when they don't even enjoy yoghurts". Such a sacrifice guys!
Aldi has 2 vegan yogurts (vanilla almond base- taste like frosting & strawberry coconut base- reminiscent of candy) and I love them! Also you could bale with yogurts you hated because the sugar could off balance the tart ones. I use the plain so delicious to bake, BUT NEVER alone lol ✨😂😂💕
Anita's Yogurt tastes the most like unsweetened plain dairy yogurt (greek style). Based on the ones I see you like, it doesn't seem you like unsweetened/plain/greek style ones. Also, that coconut yogurt is best if you stir it to make sure it's properly incorporated when eating.
16:02 I was laughing so loud when you said that XD My gosh, I am just so grateful for your channel :D Also, thank you for doing it all for us guys! It must have been a real struggle! . Stay safe and have a great week ahead! Lots of love!
That OUI is incredible! I bought mango, raspberry and vanilla. I had 2 back-to-back, cause I was kinda shook on how good it tasted. Nice recommendation.
Why did y’all get plain flavors, especially when it seems like neither of you like them in the first place? That’s not really a good representation of these brands..plus you should’ve tried some actual flavors, hardly anyone ever gets plain or just vanilla yogurt, those are always the gross ones lol
so, we wanted a baseline fair comparison and many brands have flavors that aren't similar like one brand has peach and other blueberry, like they don't line up so it's hard to say it's a fair comparison. BUT....maybe...big maybe...if we ever do another one, we should poll to see what the best flavors are and then try
Agree! Does anyone actually buy regular non-vegan plain yogurt just to eat? I can only imagine it as a base for sauces or dips. Since most brands have a strawberry or lemon, that might be a better route to go. I was never much of a yogurt fan anyway because I don't like tart things, but the Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk is SO AMAZING, it's like a pudding. It's probably too late, but at least the ones you didn't like you could probably use in baking, smoothies, or if unsweetened, as tzatziki.
I disagree. I don’t get fruit flavored yogurt as it normally tastes fake though me. I get vanilla to use and I eat it with fruit or granola. If you notice large containers of yogurt normally only come in vanilla or plain.
Thank you for "biting the bullet" so we didn't have too. I watched your hilarious (not so funny from your side of the camera) ... but informative for us. Did check out the ice cream bars, cream cheese ... thanks for making a "trash" list. Now I can try the others ... yahoo!
19:32 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If you could've said HELL NO!, you would've. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Whatever you muttered when you got up made me laugh 'til my eye dropped a tear. I played that part 5 times. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m on a quest for plain, unsweetened non coconut (no saturated fats) yougurt, for indian dishes. Your reactions are very similar to how I’ve felt about most I’ve tried.
Forager, Best Flavors! KITE HILL, 2ND BEST FLAVORS, Silk chocolate insane! PiliNut from Wholefoods. Trader Joe's Cashew! My top faves, can bring myself to pay $10 for Culina but heard the flavors are great! Plain anything is too tart, sour.... but I understand why you tried to get similar flavors. Please try the Forager Mango drink too, my toddler and I are hooked, great probiotic intake too! Love your channel, 2 nd video today for the first time. Great dynamic✌❤
It’s the facial expressions for me 😩😩😩🤣🤣 This was hilarious!! You guys have such AMAZING content!! I definitely appreciate the honesty in this video! I have yet to find a vegan yogurt that I like, but from this video, I have a few that I can test out. Great video as always!! Love & light ✌🏾✨
I'm so happy I found y'all! Thank you for saving me from picking a bad yogurt. My store is always out of Silk soy peach and mango yogurt. It's very delicious however it is very thin.
You've persuaded me to try and produce my cashew milk yogurt commercially, unless I try the Oui yogurt and decide it's really good. This was a fun video, for sure.
Unsweetened yoghurt is great for cooking, like adding to curries or sauces, not for eating straight up, unless you are adding a sweetner or something in it
You were right that this video will make us laugh--y'all are so funny and have great chemistry in all of your videos! I do like Oui yogurt and also the plain greek style almond yogurt by Kite Hill. When I have had it, it is very thick and tangy like a dairy greek yogurt. Looking forward to the next taste test!
I have only had the Cocoyo yogurt and I absolutely love it. The one I had was not chunky though… with coconut pulp? It was smooth. But it is definitely cultured. I am a person that loves vinegar and sour flavors. It is a sour yogurt.
I laugh because some of your bottom contenders are my standards, or at least things I've tolerated, but the Trader Joe's one is probably the worst thing I've ever tried. All that being said I never eat more than maybe a small dip of just the yogurt alone, because it's a sensory texture thing for me. The Forager unsweetened plain is my go to, because I can use it for savory or sweeten it a tad with a sweetener of my choice. I think the fact that I was a Greek yogurt fan prior also definitely plays into my leanings.
Hello! Love these videos-the taste tests are so helpful-thank you! Can you guys do a Jack and Annie’s taste test at some point? I keep seeing the products at Wegmans but I always hesitate to pick them up.
There are several brands you guys featured in this video that I actually enjoy but I always eat it with a good quality granola so that helps so much! It was a challenge to find a decent one but my absolute least favorite is the Lavva brand! It is horrendous 🤢🤮 also, I vigorously shake the container before I open it to make sure it’s mixed up real well and I don’t open up a puddle of water 😂
We were shaking the first one and then it seemed awkward so we were shaking before hahahaha. We tried Lava in our first video and had the same reaction
His reaction starting at 36:21…. I could not stop laughing omg!!! I kept rewinding to see his reaction over and over again and I laughed so hard my lungs were about to collapse🤣🤣 Especially that sound he made, that was end of me lol!! Loved this video and will definitely try the top picks!
You guys are on point with the taste testing because I have also tried all those brands except one and I would've listed them in that same order too. The qui brand is by far the absolute best tasting vegan yogurt I've ever tried, even when I've made my own homemade coconut yogurt. Taking that into consideration it's also one of the fattiest...of course duhhh!
I feel that So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla is the best one, not by itself, but as a base for cooking in terms of cost, caloric content and no sugar content! I certainly recommended adding your own preferences to it to add towards a better experience! I enjoy adding it to my oatmeal to increase thickness :)
This video is almost painful to watch! (I love it. 😂) I would think the two of you were overreacting with your reactions, but I know from experience that yogurt really can be that bad. My husband and I recently tried a cashew yogurt that we saw in a German test video (we refused to believe it could be as bad as the testers claimed!) and it was SO DISGUSTING. 😂 So I sympathize. I have no idea how you made it through so many different kinds of gross yogurt!
Siggi’s is my absolute fave, it’s nice to have a yogurt that’s not extremely sweet plus it has so much protein in that tiny cup. I think the other flavors are better, wish y’all could’ve tried them!
Maybe you guys could try some fruit flavors? Just my opinion, but I would never buy vanilla flavor. I understand that you are trying to get the same flavor so that you can make fair comparisons, but fruit flavors are much better in my opinion. Siggi’s mango, and mixed berry are my two favorites ever.
I’m so glad I found this video immediately after watching the first yogurt taste test, and got to see you try the Siggi’s! I actually don’t like the vanilla bean flavor on its own either, but I did like the raspberry flavor, and especially so with some extra raspberry jam because the yogurt has lower sugar content.
I am not a yogurt person generally so trying vanilla or plain is a no no for me. For availability, accessibility , price point and taste I eat SO raspberry for the tartness, blueberry, strawberry & banana and strawberry and I add walnuts. I agree for me I prefer coconut based. I find the almond ones to be grainy. You two are brave souls to have done this not once but twice. I would not have done this even once. My daughter and I love your channel thanks for all your wonderful content. This was pure comedy relief.
Thank you for this video! I prefer coconut base too! Wish you had found Chobani Coconut. The Chobani Coconut Fruit on the Bottom Strawberry is SOOOO Good!
They should preface this with what they are expecting in a yogurt. For example, I don’t like my yogurt sweet, like yoplait and gogurts. I like it to be closer to Nancy’s, Siggis, or the old Yami. Some of the ones chosen, like cocoyo and coconut cult are not meant to compete with decadent sweet American-style yogurts. Yogurts are meant to be a tart ferment, and they’re meant to take the role of traditional yogurts that pack a punch for gut benefit. We learn to enjoy cocoyo and coconut cult because it’s intensely healing to our bodies. Thanks for covering all of these, nevertheless!!!
Oui dairy free mango yogurt is, hands down, the best yogurt I've ever had - even over dairy yogurts. However, it is almost all coconut milk, coconut cream and so it's all saturated fat. 8 grams of fat, all of which is saturated. It is so, so, good, though. The raspberry is very good, as well.
For some of the yogurts, the texture is a set curd and you should not shake it! I mean, anyone can do what they want with their food, I just mean, you alter the texture in ways you wouldn't think by shaking it.
I love your videos and this one was hilarious. I personally wouldn’t expect a plain or unsweetened yogurt to taste good by itself. I use the plain unsweetened Forager to cook with when making sauces or soup like the cheddar broccoli soup. Oui is my favorite too 😃
Do you have a favorite vegan yogurt?
I don’t even like yogurt BUT... I love the Silk Almond milk yogurts. Chocolate is thee best😋
@@tranquilvibes5756
Yes! I was about to post the same!!!!!
Oui is the best!

100% agree!
Is it wrong that even though i need recommendations on tasty products that I thoroughly loved every moment of y'all tasting nasty food? 😂😂
BAHAHHAHA, we have watched and laughed at ourselves so much

Cocojune has impressed me, especially with their few:
INGREDIENTS
organic coconuts, spring water, organic cassava root, vegan probiotic cultures
I had to rewind a few times to watch Andrew's reaction again for a couple of these...omg so great. So glad you tasted all these for us. Thank you for your service. :D
Thank you. I have laughed so hard I’m going to be sore in the morning.

I would have to say....yall picked the wrong culina....try the blue berry or the rose one....I love them
Thanks for the tip!
100 % agree!!
Agreed. Culina is a good brand. Culina plain is a sour cream sub.
“If you like licking the Chapstick off your lips, come have it in a yogurt form, ta-DAH!”
Excuse me I’m still laughing 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The plant based Siggis vanilla and cinnamon is my absolute favorite one.
Coconut Cult is amazing. I think y’all had messed up tastebuds from eating all the different yogurts up to that point.
Thank you for doing this. I am a huge yogurt fan, which made it hard to give up dairy. I was and still am a yogurt fanatic. This was very helpful!
glad you found it helpful!
When you have to check the expiration date, you already know it's not gonna work.

Also, one tip for your fermented yogurts (like Foragers), if you leave it out too long, they will continue to ferment and go sour.
Oh lord..Andrew.. and when she put the spoon up to his mouth and he opened. Loved it. Oh I laughed for sure.
LOL!!!!!!! You guys are so hilarious and enjoyable! Thank you so much for all the painful hard work to help us. So appreciate the info and entertainment! 🤣🤣

@@MakeItDairyFree also dont shake or stir before trying. Just scoop some of the top. that way you wont ruin the texture
Literally the best yogurt ever and the closest to real Greek yogurt in my opinion. They should definitely try to flavored versions.

We were shaking the first one and then it seemed awkward so we were shaking before hahahaha. We tried Lava in our first video and had the same reaction
Hilarious!!! Better you than us!!! That's for being so daring!! Lol
HAHAHAHHA, so glad we could make you laugh!
43 min!
BAHAHAHHAHA, we love you!
LOL, right.
Omg! This video is priceless!! I can't with you both! LMAO!
HAHAHAHHAHA
I feel that So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla is the best one, not by itself, but as a base for cooking in terms of cost, caloric content and no sugar content! I certainly recommended adding your own preferences to it to add towards a better experience! I enjoy adding it to my oatmeal to increase thickness :)
in terms of cost for sure!
This video is almost painful to watch! (I love it. 😂)
I would think the two of you were overreacting with your reactions, but I know from experience that yogurt really can be that bad. My husband and I recently tried a cashew yogurt that we saw in a German test video (we refused to believe it could be as bad as the testers claimed!) and it was SO DISGUSTING. 😂 So I sympathize. I have no idea how you made it through so many different kinds of gross yogurt!
HAHAH totally get how it does seem ridiculous and staged if you don't know LOL
Siggi’s is my absolute fave, it’s nice to have a yogurt that’s not extremely sweet plus it has so much protein in that tiny cup. I think the other flavors are better, wish y’all could’ve tried them!
which flavor is your favorite?
@@MakeItDairyFree Raspberry and mixed berry are both really good! I like that they’re less sweet bc then I can add granola or choc chips
I agree, most vanilla or plain yogurts are not great tasting, but I agree with them OUI is the best.
After we recover from this maybe we'll do a taste of flavored ones HAHA
I love the Chobani coconut "non-dairy treat" yogurt with strawberry on the bottom! And as someone that doesn't like SWEET yogurt, it's not as sweet!
Glad you like it
Thank you for this video! I prefer coconut base too! Wish you had found Chobani Coconut. The Chobani Coconut Fruit on the Bottom Strawberry is SOOOO Good!
Loved the video. Y'all are hilarious. I've never found a vegan yogurt I like just ones I don't hate. I'll give the Yoplait one a chance.
Grandma Flavor 🤣 I cried so much watching the end of the video.
LOL
Oui dairy free mango yogurt is, hands down, the best yogurt I've ever had - even over dairy yogurts. However, it is almost all coconut milk, coconut cream and so it's all saturated fat. 8 grams of fat, all of which is saturated. It is so, so, good, though.
The raspberry is very good, as well.
For some of the yogurts, the texture is a set curd and you should not shake it! I mean, anyone can do what they want with their food, I just mean, you alter the texture in ways you wouldn't think by shaking it.
I love how I got a Dawn dish soap commercial right after you said the WF yogurt tastes like Dawn dish soap 🤣🤣
shut up! BAHAHAHHA
Thanks guys for the video super helpful!
Our pleasure!
This was the funniest review video ever..
I love your videos and this one was hilarious. I personally wouldn’t expect a plain or unsweetened yogurt to taste good by itself. I use the plain unsweetened Forager to cook with when making sauces or soup like the cheddar broccoli soup. Oui is my favorite too 😃
