The man in main role of grow-up Gurdjieff is Serbian actor Dragan Maksimovich. He was killed on the street by group of hooligans without any reason, few years ago, in Belgrade.

It's your strong inner voice, that who u are??? Or just a low frequency thought, that doesn't came from your own experiences or just just came from others opinion
@Ken Able you can ofc learn, get inspired but the real experience comes from working on yourself. books can be inspirational or make you more thirsty. you can also check out yogananda's biography of a yogi. there are two living yogis like Sri M. one is sadhguru another is yogiraj gurunath siddhanath. it is important you go to a living master. a dead master like gurdjieff cannot help much. you can also read complete works of vivekananda. and patanjali yoga sutras. maybe book of secrets by osho. he explains 112 meditation techniques in that book. ouspensky wrote book about 4th way you might be interested in.
Ken Able I would recommend Ouspensky’s the psychology of man’s possible evolution which will give you an intellectual overview and basics of the psychological aspect of the work after that In search of the miraculous covers a lot of Gurdjieff work giving you some exercises and how to practically work on yourself. The book covers psychology, cosmology and the laws that governs man and how if someone is intelligent he would try to escape from some of these laws and how to use some of these laws to your advantage, mainly the law of three and the law of seven. Ouspensky teaching is intellectual and he speaks mainly to your intellectual center. The meat of this teaching as I have been told is in Gurdjieff writing, his trilogy All and everything must be read in order since it’s suppose to be the law of three, the first series is destructive, the second is constructive and the third is reconciling. It’s constructed in a way that if you read it in order and with all your being, it can show you what your current situation and what is possible for you. FIRST SERIES To destroy, mercilessly and without any compromise whatever, in the mentation and feelings of the reader, the beliefs and views, by centuries rooted in him, about everything existing in the world. SECOND SERIES To acquaint the reader with the material required for a new creation and to prove the soundness and good quality of it. THIRD SERIES To assist the arising, in the mentation and in the feelings of the reader, of a veritable, nonfantastic representation not of that illusory world which he now perceives, but of the world existing in reality. About what Sylvius, he’s right books will not get you far. However, before getting a school I would recommend that you understand very will that you need it and that you understand your situation and that your will is too weak to bring any real change also the organism is so complex and for that you will need a teacher. Good luck
@Ken Able Hi Ken! Dr Nicolls books on the Fourth way teaching are excellent. And also Ouspenskys profound work! I have found great inspiration in Pythagoras teaching, hylozoics. Henry T Laurency was an profound esoteric author who wrote many excellent books about Pythagoras teaching called hylozoics. Free books for download are available at www.laurency.com. Feel free to visit the website www.hylozoik.se and go the the english section. There you can find many interesting articles and texts about esoteric life- and worldview based on Pythagorean hylozoics and fourth way. Together with the work of Gurdjieff, Ouspensky and Dr Nicoll; Henry T Laurency and Lars Adelskogh will provide you with the best available explanations and texts for esoteric study. Very pedagogic. Much of it is very practical. The knowledge must be used in action in everyday life. Not just in theory. That would be useless. Best regards! JH from Sweden.

Mee after vocal oli...❤
It remindind me Alan watts Words:- Why don't you really know what you want? Two reasons. Number one: you [already] have it. Number two: you don't know yourself because you never can. The Godhead is never an object of its own knowledge, just as a knife doesn't cut itself.
Two things cross my mind after watching it: Vibration comes with Coherence. Truth is in the opposing forces. ❤
I have no clue anything of what u just said makes sense

“As above, so below; as below, so above.”
Just be in the middle of positive and negative, Or surrender your small thinking to that limitless thought?
Just as sea water cannot be contained in a small glass, similarly that infinite intelligence cannot be contained in a small intellect.
@@ravipannu4313 ...no middle way leads to Unity!
Just as the water in the cup of glass will be always pulled to the Ocean, the limited mind will be pulled to the Whole. Completeness will emerge only in strength of Unity and will punish the weakness of separation. Grab the two pulling forces and tangle them in One. At 100%. Each.
There are no more two. No more separation. No more 50/50. No middle.
Just... One. Whole.
I look at this all and the mechanics behind it all are bewilderingly unbelievable. How does one travel such distances on foot with so little provisions and where are earth do the fabrics , the clothes ,the wood, the building materials come from. Where are the thousands of laborers that would make any of this possible? I guess it’s all about and for a privileged class that is out of touch with reality.
The man in main role of grow-up Gurdjieff is Serbian actor Dragan Maksimovich. He was killed on the street by group of hooligans without any reason, few years ago, in Belgrade.
I never knew that. How tragic!! RIP Dragan Maksimović 🙏
killed by skinheads, idiots thought he was a gipsy
Yes, I remember Ouspensky saying that Gurdjieff told him the story of the Yazidi boy who could not or would not escape from the circle that the children had drawn around him. Gurdjieff said “they have strange beliefs!”
Most of humanity lives in their self drawn circles
@@corameirowitz9452 very true 👍 😊😊
Yezidi have their reasons! Beyond supersticion there is knowledge. I'm sure he was taking advantage of a well consecrated space, free from negative influences, as is one cast by children in their innocence.
Cats are also known to search and stay inside circles...
For some reason. 😊
@cora, others draw the circles before were experienced enough to discriminate or have the power to act against it & draw our own circle. we just maintain the perimeter of the circles drawn in our formative years.
we have a choice at 18 but by then so many ppl are too far down in the hole of "no, can't, that's forbidden to you" perceptive hole to stand up and change.
General Zod checkin' out those lovely lassies! (and after or hero was walking the opposite way he was pictured on the Dutton 1969 edition!) Well, at least he did not have to do it on stilts.
It comes when not expected.

Saw this at movie theater as kid with neibor always stuck with me
I still have a great interest in this movie, returned back to it today on the 21st - 2021 - 21st century

Taken in, this film alone can alter the state, or even alter consciousness itself, perhaps permanently.
This is the 7 " time I see this Majestic film . And 4 each time I learn something knew . The question of " Who am I " is one of the most fundamental question for the Human beings. " who is the I " ....I know that by being silence can give some great insight. I love this film & it was Osho who gave me the inspiration to know more about I.Gjurdieff .Thank you for this magnificient movie ❤️❤️❤️
it was Osho who gave me inspiration too for Gurdjieff, I spend many years sitting at his feed and listening to him, from the late 70s to the late 90s .... a 43 later now, I started to walk my own path .... but Lao Zhu and Gurdjieff are the people with whom I can alien myself easily ....
if you liked this, you will also like the book 'A Search in Secret Egypt' by paul brunton.

Life's master builder.
"I am who I am..." Love G. Thanks for posting
It's your strong inner voice, that who u are???
Or just a low frequency thought, that doesn't came from your own experiences or just just came from others opinion
seek balance and your thirst will be quenched fully and deeply

فعلا
Fantastic movie with some profound esoteric teaching in it for those who understand it...
@Ken Able learn kriya by sri M. books wont help you to find the truth.
Good luck
Ken Able you’re welcome!
Do I have thirst for the truth? Can I succeed? I feel such thirst deep in myself. I constantly returning back to this point but many times wolf dovoures and scatters me and not letting me to be deciplined enough. Still I search...
Stephen Joseph G.S your only problem is you never grew up...
@@BryanKirch The problem is not one of not 'growing up' but of being able to grow 'into' oneself, which may be dependent as much on finding the right conditions as on mustering sufficient mental and physical discipline. How does this work in a body that is old or broken?
Maybe this talk will help you out: Vernon Howard - The Meanest Talk Ever Given You'll Love It (on YT). Vernon Howard is a Gurdjieff student.

Enjoyed the movie,,,been many years....was my first love...
Wow. Amazing movie!!
Thanks for sharing this movie.
There should be another or second part of this movie
There is, in book form. The books he talks about are ones he has written, three in the main series I believe and many books that are written afterwards by his best students. Take a look at the book of this film by the same name and then after that I would take a look at, In Search of the Miraculous by Ouspensky.
great
Robert Fripp of King Crimson was at one time a disciple of Gurdjieff's teachings.
Interesting. I never heard of Gurdjieff or this movie. I did however appreciate the music of King Crimson back in 1972/73. And I enjoyed this film.
At the 58:34 when he tells him to die consciously what do you think they went to do ?
that is the gist of the film: dying consciously. It has a deep esoteric meaning, it is the real meaning of the crucifixion.
You want an'answer' from outside? Having watched that passage just listen and who knows what might be shown you from 'inside '.Something from outside would make that impossible so it would be stealing and anyway do you really want somebody els's I-know-*all*-about- that? questions are births of a sort-yes? Do you really want the rotting corpse of a diamond question? You remain with in front of that question ans just *listen*. How to remain in front of an alive question*without* dreaming?
