That turtle was at the very least 11 years old. Kinda sad, something special about turtles. Of course we don’t care at all when people slice open sturgeon for caviar . They are typically harvested around age 17-18.

In the province they eat everything edible. Ive tried eaten frog, snake, monitor lizard, jungle snail, horse meat and some other exotic foods. But not turtle yet so I'm confuse how it takes like and wanted to try it if chance come.

A lot of people don't have easy access to turtles, but they are actually very good if cooked properly. The meat can be very different texture and flavor from different parts of the animal. This looks delicious, I would definitely try it. A true gourmet at work. 大好

I’m from North Carolina , I was taught how to prepare this when I was 9 . The catch is if you get one out the swamps well they eat anything so you have to feed it veggies and clean raw fish for a month even fruit to clean him out first.
