Special thanks to the insights provided by the very fictional book, "One curb, two curb, red curb, blue curb" by Dr. (Driving) Seuss.

I’ve been watching Driver’s Ed videos for quite some time now and Liz has done an absolutely amazing job!! However, I took my permit test yesterday and very few of these questions appeared in the test.. the DMV’s probably updated their question bank..
Hello! Thank you so much for the kind words! It’s true that the DMV updates its question bank, so some of the questions on your test may have been different from the ones we cover. That said, we’ve had multiple students in the past few weeks tell us that almost all the questions on their test were from these videos. Since the DMV has a large pool of questions, the randomized nature of the test means that experiences can vary widely from person to person. The best way to prepare is to review the DMV Handbook and practice with as many sample questions as possible to get familiar with different topics. We hope your test went well-let us know if you have any questions!
Love the explanations! Thank you!
Thank you very much!
You are the BEST!

I love your channel, very clear and easy to understand. May I ask you a question?
If a sign reads 3 hours parking from 7 am to 7 pm, except with permits. Can a disabled placard park more than three, perhaps 4-5 hours?
Hello! Thanks for the support! In many areas (including California) that indicate a parking permit is required, a vehicle with a properly displayed, valid disabled placard can park in that area as well. Basically, a handicap placard acts in lieu of a permit. Therefore, with your placard, you can exceed the 3-hour time limit. Please keep in mind the placard does not exempt you from the street cleaning restrictions. You'll get ticketed even with a placard.
With that said, the specific rules can vary depending on local laws and regulations, so it's always a good idea to check the local rules to be certain. Hope this helps!
Thank you
You're welcome!
A colorless curbs like in residential neigborhood mean free parking in the US as well?
Hello! Yes, unless a sign is posted with prohibitive parking rules/hours, a plain curb is open for parking!
@@DriversEdDirect Thanks!
do you have a website for us to practice these questions?
Hello! Our California DMV Approved Online drivers ed course comes with unlmited DMV practice tests with questions like the ones in our videos: www.driverseddirect.com/getstarted.aspx?source=YT. We also have an App is the iOS App Store: apps.apple.com/us/app/ph-dmv-ca/id863036975?platform=iphone
Does this help with N.c Drivers Ed .
Hello! While these questions are from actual California DMV tests, many if not all of the curb color rules apply nationwide. Hope that helps!
Thanks
Has anyone ever took their test in a manual transmission stick shift car in California ?

Disabled placard can park longer at green?
Great question! Yes, a disabled placard allows you to park at a green curb for an UNLIMITED amount of time. Per the CA DMV, here are all the privileges of having a disabled placard:
Once you have a valid DP placard or DP License Plates, you may park:
- In parking spaces with the International Symbol of Access (wheelchair symbol).
- Next to a blue curb authorized for persons with disabilities parking.
*- Next to a green curb (green curbs indicate limited time parking) for as long as you wish.*
- In an on-street metered parking space at no charge.
- In an area that indicates it requires a resident or merchant permit.
