I had the weakest, most non existant legs ever to be seen. These exercises increased my balance, gave me muscle, gave me weight, gave me confidence, you have no idea how much I appreciate you Jeff. You guys are truly heroes.
They're called froggers, you do them with your legs. But you only get those gainz if you do these in public places like a gym to appease the gods of lift. Do these preferably next to those chicks that twerk on the hamstring machines to show them up for added lifting karma points.

Coming off of hip replacement surgery, and getting back in shape to play Major Open softball, really enjoying these exercises. (Always had big legs and never needed much work other than running and playing ball, but three years of avascular necrosis and then surgery has shrunk them. I want them back. Only 56!)
This is my life saver, I go to planet fitness and been a little stressed that I don't use Barbell that much, and with these exercises with dumbbell I will crush it. Thanks Jeff!

I agree. The dumbell series is a lifesaver right now. Only the back video is not really made for home. The problem is that my orthopedic surgeon's office is also closed and if I try "walking the box" I fear my knee will just break right off.

Recently was doing reverse lunges and pulled a muscle near groin. It hurt to lift it up if it was lower than other leg sitting down. So for instance sitting on my bed left leg off bed and right leg on. Trying to lift left leg up and onto bed hurt on inside of leg near groin. What did I do wrong during the lunge and what muscle group needs help to strengthen that area. Gym is open but I prefer training at home when possible. Have only a bench and dumbbells....also, stairs and a fire escape ladder for warm ups and cardio.
Hey Jeff and Freddie (Ok, you made this more fun) not one for commenting on videos, but I really did love this one. As a slightly smaller guy, I often find the muscle crowd with the barbells a tad intimidating and ruling the barbells, so seeing the same exercises with dumbells has made my visits to the gym much more enjoyable. As a runner, I just look at gym work as supplementary so now feel far more confident with my indoor workout. thank you so much. And I really do appreciate the moments of humour added in too, some guys take this stuff way too seriously.
Love the DB series, Jeff!!! DB's in the garage plus push-ups & planks are my primary workouts. My wife & I are joining a gym for her to take a class and so I can also add some bar and other exercises. Thanks for all your vids, I've learned from every one I've watched!!!

You may have created a hambone beast with Jessie, but he's still inspiring. I'm a skinny guy. So, I am impressed that a skinny guy can change his body composition. I had zero idea that that could even be possible. Instead, I spent/wasted literally decades in deep self-hatred. I'm in my 60s now, and that level of change may not actually happen. But I am optimistic that I can build a happy, healthy life, and then die. Forward ever!!

Hi Athlean-X! I was just wondering. When you do a Romanian deadlift, do you lift your neck up on the way down? The reason I ask is because I had been doing it with my neck in a neutral position, not hyper-extending my neck to look forward and I was fine. It wasn't until I watched another fitness channel and saw the guy hyper-extending his neck and suggested to viewers that that was the correct way to do it. I notice that the gentleman who is in this video is doing the same thing. Well, after having done that, I ended up in the ER with excruciating pain and then had to go to an Orthopedic Dr. only to find out that I had Cervical Stenosis. The doc asked what had I done prior to coming in to see him and honestly I had not done anything different except that neck hyper-extension while doing the deadlift. I had to stop working out for about 3 weeks and now have to go to physical therapy and steroid injections in my neck! I'm not asking for anything except what you think is the correct way to do the deadlifts. Thank you for your attention to this question. --Gina

I tried the 1st exercise the DB reverse lunge with 10 kg DB...after 3 sets of 12 reps...i feel my muscle behind my legs are exploding then i stop.i think i will jog for about 2 weeks then i'll start doing this.My legs were so weak. THis is the sign that you should do this exercise...it's so legit and challenging. Greetings from PHILLIPINES!
I like the best dumbbell exercise series, because i train at home and only have dumbbell and bench. Don't want pay for gym membership, and don't have time to go to gym.
Belt helps you with heavy lifts, but aren't really needed and you should never use them when its a weight you are conformable with. Gloves can help you if you need the grip strength for a really heavy lift, but personally i hate them as they get sweaty and will start to stink if you use them a lot. Knee pads i've never used in the gym, perhaps if you're doing some exercise where you get down on your knee they can be useful, but they can get in your way on lifts like deadlift, where you want the bar as close to your legs as possible.
I'm loving the 'BEST OF' series Jeff! Your channel is by far the most helpful fitness channels on UA-cam. I love that alot of the exercises you show can also be done at home. I would love if you could do a series of full body workouts targeted toward fat loss & tone (for women?). Keep up the life changing work guys 💪

Hey Jeff and Freddie (Ok, you made this more fun) not one for commenting on videos, but I really did love this one. As a slightly smaller guy, I often find the muscle crowd with the barbells a tad intimidating and ruling the barbells, so seeing the same exercises with dumbells has made my visits to the gym much more enjoyable. As a runner, I just look at gym work as supplementary so now feel far more confident with my indoor workout. thank you so much. And I really do appreciate the moments of humour added in too, some guys take this stuff way too seriously.

Love the DB series, Jeff!!! DB's in the garage plus push-ups & planks are my primary workouts. My wife & I are joining a gym for her to take a class and so I can also add some bar and other exercises. Thanks for all your vids, I've learned from every one I've watched!!!
Watched this again and all the exercise are just amazing and I love the burn , Jessie is looking good , I remember when he was really skinny. The only thing with these exercises if done properly you will not be able to walk up or down stairs without saying oooo! Thanks Jeff

You may have created a hambone beast with Jessie, but he's still inspiring. I'm a skinny guy. So, I am impressed that a skinny guy can change his body composition. I had zero idea that that could even be possible. Instead, I spent/wasted literally decades in deep self-hatred. I'm in my 60s now, and that level of change may not actually happen. But I am optimistic that I can build a happy, healthy life, and then die. Forward ever!!

Hi Athlean-X! I was just wondering. When you do a Romanian deadlift, do you lift your neck up on the way down? The reason I ask is because I had been doing it with my neck in a neutral position, not hyper-extending my neck to look forward and I was fine. It wasn't until I watched another fitness channel and saw the guy hyper-extending his neck and suggested to viewers that that was the correct way to do it. I notice that the gentleman who is in this video is doing the same thing. Well, after having done that, I ended up in the ER with excruciating pain and then had to go to an Orthopedic Dr. only to find out that I had Cervical Stenosis. The doc asked what had I done prior to coming in to see him and honestly I had not done anything different except that neck hyper-extension while doing the deadlift. I had to stop working out for about 3 weeks and now have to go to physical therapy and steroid injections in my neck! I'm not asking for anything except what you think is the correct way to do the deadlifts. Thank you for your attention to this question. --Gina

One thing I would like to see is a brief overview of the exercises and techniques covered in the video, with so much being covered i think this would be beneficial to help people lock in on what to do. I tried the 1st exercise the DB reverse lunge with 10 kg DB...after 3 sets of 12 reps...i feel my muscle behind my legs are exploding then i stop.i think i will jog for about 2 weeks then i'll start doing this.My legs were so weak.

I like the best dumbbell exercise series, because i train at home and only have dumbbell and bench. Don't want pay for gym membership, and don't have time to go to gym.
please do a video on gym accessories like belt, gloves and knee pads...are they important for workout?
Belt helps you with heavy lifts, but aren't really needed and you should never use them when its a weight you are conformable with. Gloves can help you if you need the grip strength for a really heavy lift, but personally i hate them as they get sweaty and will start to stink if you use them a lot. Knee pads i've never used in the gym, perhaps if you're doing some exercise where you get down on your knee they can be useful, but they can get in your way on lifts like deadlift, where you want the bar as close to your legs as possible.

Day four without going to the gym, and I already miss it so much. Bought myself a home bench.
I was only 5mins into this and just did that Bulgarian 2nd version and all the sweat broke through my 48hrs antiperspirant! Used it this morning. Good workout man.
