Just went 4-0 with the Golgari deck. A lot more agro than I thought it would be. Thanks for the guide!
Same
Wait- does "Bring The Ending" use the wrong form of its?
I could be brain dead but shouldn't it be "its controller"?
Yes. And also no.
It uses both lol
So yes it does use the wrong form of its
Prerelease was a trainwreck for me. Somehow the packs were all on par with your demo pack and my rares were:
Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut
Mirran Safehouse
Monument to Perfection
The monumental Facade
Red Sun's Twilight
Venerated Rotpriest
and promo Milgoz, Maze Crusher
Unfortunately in the commons and uncommons Red and Green were extremely weak so had to go white/black to make even a functional deck
Thanks for all the information in what you do Thanks to some of your advice for this Set I got top 5 in my prerelease.
I sort of fell into a combo with Unctus's Retrofitter. A turn 2 Barbed Batterfist and then turn 3 Unctus's Retrofitter, turns the Batterfist into a 4/4, which then detaches from the token. That gives you a 4/4 and 2/2 to swing with on turn 3, plus the Retrofitter still ready to block. Both the Batterfist and 2-mana uncommon red equipment have performed surprisingly well in the Red/Blue deck in the format for me. Reasonable 2-drop creatures that also trigger all the Non-creature payoffs.
I am so excited to try these in the Arena "Jump In" mode.
4-1 prerelease. WUG deck with tons of fixing. Two masticores pulled so much work definitely an incredibly powerful card this format. Used my atraxa and elesh norn as murders more often than they were cast
*slow clap
Teeka's Dragon is a rare, so that automatically means it's better than every card in this video.
So now we not only have the "Top 10 Minus Power 9" guy, but also you with anything about Teeka's Dragon? Interesting, can't wait for more themed-and-serial commenters :V
💪
@@sallomon2357 Hey, don't blame me, I'm not the one who has it in every relevant top 10 Worst list lol
@@cax1175 no, don't get me wrong, it's just it is the first time I've seen sth like this since all the Kripperinos under Hearthstone videos. Just seems funny to me
How's that blue 2 mana draw a card/ give each opponent 1 poison counter?
I forgot its name, but seeing it was common made me think it's quite likely you'll see multiple per draft.
Coupled with so much proliferate, got me all excited not even having to worry about Toxic & going full control! 🙃
It's so interesting to see how some of the best draft players in the world have entirely different perspectives on the best cards! I know numot likes a lot of cards you absolutely hate
It is early in the format, it is very easy to be wrong!
Very excited to play limited for this set.
Wow that was a terrible pack, the adaptive really saved it, it's also incidentally my pick for greens best uncommon going into the format, it looks like it'll just win some games by itself; turn 1 adaptive is probably one of the scariest things your opponent can do in this format if you don't have removal for it immediately.
Like you said though green is super deep at uncommon and it probably doesn't matter which ones best, they're all great and they'll probably make some really nasty green decks in the format with the vorrac as well. Imagine a curve of evolving adptive into random 2 drop into vorrac to have a 4/4 adaptive by turn 3.
Bring the Proofreading.
I went 2-0-1 in prerelease with a RW FOR MIRRODIN!!! Deck with Elesh Norn
Question: if you already have Elesh Norn:MoM and then you play a card with "For Mirrodin!" ,due to Norn's effect, you make two 2/2 rebel tokens ?
@@Mil89GR Yeah, it creates a token, attaches, then creates another token and attaches to it. So you get an extra 2/2. And opponents' For Mirrodin! cards don't make tokens.
Gita Ian raptor reminds me of mistwalker but some how its much worst so far
Mandible justicar has been a very solid 2 drop for me
in my (limited) experience, the equipment boros theme seems one of the weaker, and green/black some of the strongest colors
Well, luckily this is a limited only channel, so your limited experience is what we want. ;)
🎉
Here after 2 weeks of this format. Basilica shepherd is not the best white common, sorry to say.
Tyrranax Atrocity deserves to be on this list. Capable of stealing games out of no where and fits in multiple decks.
Completely ignored sheoldred's edict lol.... wow
Because it isn't that good in Limited. Edicts rarely are.
Shits fast.
lightning bolt
it’s a best common
WTF ?
