I have a 991.2 GT3. Excellent car and our local dealer is top notch from my experience. Approaching 40k kms and it is tracked on a regular basis. Only a couple minor problems to date. Had I not modified the suspension, it is perfectly acceptable as a daily for me but certainly not a grocery getter, especially with the cage and carbon buckets with set backs. Though I can understand how some people would find it too much. The sound is intoxicating all the way to 9000 (it has the same redline as a 992). With Dundon headers it is another level of madness and can hold the 992 on the straight. Which shows something special is going on with the 992 given it's downforce, same gearing, and pretty much the "same power". After witnessing many McLarens not make it through a track weekend despite McLaren being onsite and only one modern Porsche suffer the same despite doing many Porsche only weekends with 40 plus cars, I am happy with my decision. That said, McLarens sure are beautiful and definitely capable.
I’ve owned a 991.2 GT3 and now have a heavily MSO equipped 600LT Clubsport and although I miss the instant throttle response and noise of the GT3 (I had a titanium bypass on it to add to the drama) but I’d honestly say the LT is the better car 90% of the time. Especially on the average UK road. The damping on the LT is more compliant and doesn’t crash so much as the GT3. Still incredibly precise yet maintains body control better as well as cornering so flat it feels like it’s defying the laws of physics. Performance wise the LT is in a different league entirely. 0-125mph in 8.2 seconds says it all.
My prob with 600 is the reliability..its a great car to drive but 1.its not as reliable 2.they cost an arm for service. Porsche which I have 2 I've yet to have an issue..oil filter tires..and 1 of them is an 05 996 4s one of the last ones with am x51 pack and it's a raw car..prob my favorite..I did have a go with 720s and while it's a missile it started having issues almost immediately so I let it go within 3 months..out of those 3 months I actually had it for 3 weeks
@@PapaG603 I’d agree that there are more issues with Mclaren’s generally. I’ve been lucky and had nothing go wrong with mine at all, with it being under warranty that wouldn’t be an issue currently. I’d certainly not own one without a warranty especially with the potential corroded panels issue. Servicing costs on the LT are actually cheaper per service (although they are every 12 months) a major service on the GT3 cost £2100 whereas the LT was £1400.
The 600 Lt must have some suspension on it! Driven many GT3’s and own one. I would never describe the suspension as crashy. Firm yes, but they take bumps well and are rarely unsettled.
@@555dho555 maybe crashy is the wrong word. I’d say on a perfect German road a GT3 would be sublime but on the average UK road where there’s camber and uneven surfaces I found it would often be very much up on its toes and require lots of counter steering to keep it on track (which lessened as speed increased strangely) the LT doesn’t have the fancy magic carpet ride of a 720S but you can tell it’s been designed with UK roads in mind. It’s very much like a big powerful Lotus with enough compliancy to keep the tyres flat on uneven surfaces and subsequently almost glide along, having three different suspension settings certainly helps but even in sports mode (it has comfort, sport and track) I personally prefer it over my GT3.
I traded my 991.2 GT3 manual for a 458 Spider and traded back for another 991.2 GT3 3 months later. Nothing else I've driven compares. Also the GT3 is bulletproof and McLarens are notoriously not. Also the sound of the flat 6 with a full exhaust is the greatest thing on earth

Just incredible. The GT2 was bonkers, but didn’t sound the same. I want to go back this year with my Cayman and with an instructor. Incredible experience.

Had the same choice, 600LT or GT3 Touring. Took the Touring. I drive my car every day, do the weekly supermarket shopping in it, drive to work etc. The McLaren quality control and fit and finish is a big factor, as well as depreciation. I had a GTS and lost almost nothing in 3 years, in depreciation. I just wish they would offer the Touring with rear seats and sunroof. (I did enquire and was told no)
Great Video Pete. I'd prefer the 911 tbh. I was recently watching another YT from RPM Technique, who'd converted a 991 GT3 Winged version into a GT3 Touring with a PDK. This did away with cage and the rear wing. It was for a customer who wanted a GT3 Touring with rear seats, looked really good. I'd prefer a Duck-Tail instead of the wing on a 991.2 version. I think the conversion was about £12K and could be reversed too.
Great video and love the presentation and passion. Only comment is don’t think the weights you quoted for the gt3 are correct. 1,700 kg is it’s maximum permissible weight not kerb weight which is down just over 1,400kg. Quite a bit different! Still heavier than the mclaren but not 400kg different! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for getting us on board of these two great cars. GT3 makes more sense in the 'real world' but the design of the 600LT is off the scale. Would have a hard time to choose so the Porsche on weekdays and LT for track is the perfect solution. I see you upgrade to 911 convertible in a while. Or if you pick the correct lottery numbers...
I have heard some horror stories about after sales service with McLarens, months in the workshop, ridiculous costs. Porsche for me, I have a Carrera and they are pretty special.
The correct answer is McLaren 600LT Spider. It’s a track weapon but also offers a completely different type of enjoyment with the roof off. Every mile is epic and I’d disagree with your comment on ride quality as I find mine very comfortable once over 50 mph. Servicing costs are on par with a modern Porsche in my experience.
At a recent track day, I pulled into the paddock next to a fellow with a Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0, same color as my GT4 4.5. We chatted a while and he explained he was much happier with the Porsche, after getting rid of a McLaren that cost him many thousand$ every time he sneezed. The constant 4 and 5 figure repair bills took all the fun out of it. Besides, he said, the Porsche is every bit as fun to drive. His testimony aligns with every knock I’ve heard about McLarens, which is poor reliability and horrendous cost of ownership. I’ve got 4 Porsches now, and none have suffered extreme costs for repairs, even the one on track duty. My other suspicion on McLarens is their handling at the limit. You can’t put wide front tires on it for clearance reasons (max 235), so the mechanical grip in hard cornering is limited. I’ve watched track day videos where the McLaren opens up a gap on the straight, only to be caught in the corners by less powerful Porsches running 275mm wide front tires.
@@brcodgaming not true. Many drivers like normally aspirated motors. Many people feel the GT2 is over powered and unbalanced where the GT3 is wonderfully balanced at 500hp. No turbo lag either. I have a friend who had a GT2RS and it was just too unpredictable in power coming on. He sold the GT2 bought a GT3 and a Ferrari You can normally walk in to ANY Porsche dealer and buy or order a turbo S. Turbos are half the 911 production. The GT3 is VERY DIFFICULT to get or order. I’ve had three. Getting a turbo no problem getting a gt3 is almost impossible unless you’re a multiple vehicle buyer per year
I have 570 Spider. I play a game with people on first time out where I cover the speedo and ask them what speed they think we are doing. They ALWAYS underestimate….. it’s easy to 90 and people always guess 60. It’s a smooth comfortable and composed drive. Do I need my more power?…. No absolutely not.
Hi Ped great vid, the jammy dodger is getting tired but applies, for me lottery win required anyway, but i would go british and Aston Martin with a DB11 sorry but i always wanted one if money no object, but both are great cars.
Great dream review....I think i'd still take the 600LT as something fully special and make sure the daily was something good enough. I think the 911 would be a daily but then you'd worry about mileage and problems and so it wouldn't actually be a daily and you'd still get another car. ( I also think the 600 would be the less default or common choice too. )...So if they were both occasional cars then you would take the more extreme one.
Porsche has never been on my radar as a car I could ever afford so I appreciate them as a car but not for me. Now that McLaren for me should be in the same boat but it's not, it excites me as much as an Escort XR3 Turbo did when I was but a nipper. Not that I will buy one unless my numbers came up on a lucky dip and even then it would be well down the list after RS4 Avant and new Defender 110 in black, funnily enough somebody was reviewing one of those recently on UA-cam. As usual an enjoyable watch and I'm sure you might be having a conversation with Mrs P in the very near future. Again congrats on the !65k subs.
Great watch as per usual Peter. The GT3 would definitely be my choice. That flat 6 howl is just amazing. One question did you ever do the video on the financing of a “sports/super car that you mentioned when you collected Lady P??
Love the 991.2 GT3. And the 600LT is the only Mclaren I'd buy. Same motor in them all ? but the least stressed in the LT. But it would have to be the spider. Add a 997 Turbo, an F12 and a 550 and that's my perfect collection. Well if I could find a 1979 Aston Martin Oscar India V8 in manual and I'd be the happiest chappy in the world.
Great video as always Ped. Both truly great machines and what a nice dilemma to have. For me it would be the Porsche - drive it for a year or so and still get back what you paid for it, I am a canny Scotsman after all !
Great video!! Appreciate your perspectives. As some that has owned both a 991.2 GT3 and McLaren 600LT Spider. Hands down the McLaren is more visceral to drive. Pops and cracks of the exhaust, and how well the McLaren sticks to the road - amazingly well. For only 225 rubber up front the initial turn in is excellent. Only slight understeer. I suspect the 992 GT3 front end would even things up a bit. Haven’t driven one yet. Even compared to a 991.2 GT3 RS the 600LT is amazing. Now, when one considers reliability, depreciation and upkeep I think the Porsche comes out ahead. But from a pure joy, fun, experience the 600LT tickles all the senses.
Great video as always buddy. Tough one! Like you, if I could have both, the Porsche would be a daily and the McLaren would be the track day toy!! If I could only have one, it would be the McLaren. Both are very nice cars though.
Well, the gt3 is the better quality car and reasonable to maintain, so if the purchase price is a stretch then gt3, if it's easily affordable then it depends on use, like you say in the review, if it's a feel special occasional car then the McLaren all day, looks so much more special than the Porsche, but if it's a car you're gonna use a couple of times a week then the gt3 makes more sense..... I couldn't think of better alternatives to have a purchasing headache over than these 2 either 👍🏻
GT3 for me, even if I won the lottery, as much as I like the idea of the 600lt, I think I would be worried about spending the rest of my winnings, lest anything went wrong with the McLaren. I say that of course without any personal experience, based only on the possible prejudice towards the brand in general, although when I visited my local (now defunct) dealership, back in 12c days, window shopping of course, I wasn’t impressed with the setup or the way they “welcomed” me. First impressions count.
You ain’t kidding about the costs for the McLaren. Else where on UA-cam a McLaren owner was saying that the warranty was around 4 grand a year and the windscreen alone was a similar amount. The panel gaps and shut lines were also horrendous considering the cost. My father in law has a Porsche 993 that’s around 20 years old with just over 100 thousand on the clock. It starts first time ,still looks like new and doesn’t cost him an arm and a leg to use. Services and other maintenance carried out at an independent Porsche specialist costs him around a grand a year. Plenty fast enough for the road and because it was the last air cooled 911 it’s even gone up in value. The Porsche will be far more reliable as it’s built to last. There are plenty for sale with over 100 thousand on the clock. I bet there isn’t 1 privately owned McLaren with anything like that mileage.
Great video and two wonderful cars. I love the 911 and have some since a young child, so would have to be GT3. Personally I’m after a gen 2 997, but I must admit that I’m not fussed about the high end of the range. A carrera 2 or 4 s is where I’m looking.
4s is way raw than its given credit..I have a 996 4s n a 9974s..the 996 is actually an 05 so it's one of the last ones and it has an x51 pack..I find myself driving the 996 way more..its really raw n I've never had an ims bearing issue nor have I ever worried bout it..
The BIG difference is you can drive the GT3, you only admire the McClaren while it sits in service waiting to be fixed. The other thing is the depreciation of the McClaren is faster than a failing US bank. The GT3 just doesn’t depreciate
675LT Is by far the best Mclaren since F1. Super series car is a big step up with hydraulic suspension and active aero. Mega rare unlike the 600LT hence an extra £100k as well but more than worth the premium if you can find one. Give me a napier green spider please
Weights were wrong I believe ? Two very different cars both awesome however reliability, racing heritage and the NA 500HP with a 9000rpm redline would sway me to the Porsche. In saying that the 992 GT3 manual would be my choice over the 991.2
I know those roads well. You are a brave man to take those cars there on the A24. Both excellent tools too loose your license with around there. Personally I will stick to my XJ. A whole lot more sensible. Then you have £150k to hire a variety of cars on track days when the speed bug bites and keep points of licence or go to Barbados maybe 🤔
Fantastic video and editing ….. dream material for most of us! Now where’s that lottery ticket?? … if money were no object it would have to be the McClaren just for the overall head turning special theatre of the car. As you said it’s a car to drool over and look at in the garage and take out for those special days when the drives are something you relive in your head for a long time after 😊
Mr.Ped, I assume you realise now, you had an audible typo (@04.30), when saying the Porsche weighed 1760kg? Did you mean to say 1460? 😁. Anyway, great video as always, keep'em coming 👍

I think this is the trouble we all know the reliability issues with everyone thats owned a mclaren. The porsche as a daily car is a no brained, plus I would want to see my pride and joy,and not look through the glass as the dealers workshop
Good Evening Petrol ped hope you are doing well. I really enjoy your videos and i think the McLaren 600LT looks amazing and sounds brilliant that V8 then you have the GT3 which looks brilliant thank you as always wonderful video 👍
Could you really daily a GT3? I'm sure you could but from a retaining value standpoint would you want too? I'd have both but twisting my arm, I'd pick the 600LT - that sound and those exhausts. I think I'd only take it out at night for the firework display in the rear view mirror 😂😂😂
Peter…Yes…it is the 911 that I would take home because I’m sure it would be a car to enjoy without worries whereas the McLaren would bite with many bills. Should you buy one?….financial madness and Tracey might get a bit frantic but don’t wait until you can write a cheque and drive it home…by then you might well be you old to insure it and too feared to discover its deep abilities. Buy one when you can…tomorrow might be too late all of us. Enjoy every moment. Richard😀😀😀😀
Am I the only one that looked at how the Accost barn had been converted into a garage before looking at the cars! ☺. Whilst I'd love a McLaren it would have to be a 12c which is still IMO the best looking Mc as I'm not into carbon or aggression. Otherwise it's Porsche all day long for me.
Porsche every day of the week for me, been my ultimate dream car since I knew they existed, though with a lottery win and am talking the big one, would have both along with a host ofGrB Rally weapons , put the feelers out for some tasty rally car reviews please!!!
Personally as a road car I'd prefer a 991.2 GT3 Touring with the Standard seat's. All the performance but not as in your face and comfier on a road trip. The only issue is the price difference between the Touring and a normal GT3. You'll be lucky to get one for less than £200k. 🤬🤬 P.S I drove past a Chicane Grey 600LT on Saturday just down the road from me. Looked mean on the road. Not sure about the reliability issues with McLaren's though so the GT3 gets my vote..Who needs more than 500hp on the road anyway??
Fab cars, the Porsche for me tbh and would prefer the solidity in a shunt, also the mc was doing a good impression of Thomas the tank engine as it came out of the shed😊 fab vid as always!
The reason the McClaren is on another level is because you’ll need another level of money keeping it running . The dealer costs are astronomical. The GT3 is just a better purchase. The McClaren will cost you so much more to own.
I know they're amazing to drive having been lucky enough to drive a couple, but I just can't get excited about a Porsche. Just doesn't do it for me. Unlike the McLaren, which is everything I love about cars.
When you referred to Porsche Performance and PP in the video, I automatically thought it was PP ... Petrol Ped !!! ........ Maybe you should registered the IP now Pete, wink wink. Cheers

I had the joy to drive a GT2 and loved every second, so can only imagine the improvements in the GT3. Great video.
Both great cars 👍
Improvements?
GT2 is Porsche’s Flagship model basically 😂 GT3 is below a Turbo S
@@brcodgaming not true. Many drivers like normally aspirated motors. Many people feel the GT2 is over powered and unbalanced where the GT3 is wonderfully balanced at 500hp.
No turbo lag either. I have a friend who had a GT2RS and it was just too unpredictable in power coming on. He sold the GT2 bought a GT3 and a Ferrari
You can normally walk in to ANY Porsche dealer and buy or order a turbo S. Turbos are half the 911 production. The GT3 is VERY DIFFICULT to get or order. I’ve had three.
Getting a turbo no problem getting a gt3 is almost impossible unless you’re a multiple vehicle buyer per year
@@johnnyboy1586 he likely drove an older GT2 like maybe a 996
GT3 all day , I had one for three years amazing got almost 90% of my money back too 😮
Wow 😮
I have 570 Spider. I play a game with people on first time out where I cover the speedo and ask them what speed they think we are doing. They ALWAYS underestimate….. it’s easy to 90 and people always guess 60. It’s a smooth comfortable and composed drive. Do I need my more power?…. No absolutely not.
👍
Top video, I’d take the GT3……..just a racing thoroughbred with a sound track to go with it 😎😎😎
Thanks 👍
Id have the GT3 touring. Aren't those McLaren exterior panels made of fiberglass glued to a carbon tub?
Excellent vid as always, thanks. Two very nice cars, but if I had my choice from there it would be the red Bentley in the corner.
👍
This is a difficult one. The GT3 is more driver focus than the 600LT i think but the 600LT looks much better.
The LT is pretty focused 😜👍
The only time you get to drive the McClaren is to a fro from the dealer. To supposedly get fixed
Thanks John 👍
Escort XR3 Turbo ??!
Great watch as per usual Peter.
The GT3 would definitely be my choice. That flat 6 howl is just amazing.
One question did you ever do the video on the financing of a “sports/super car that you mentioned when you collected Lady P??
Not yet but there will be one coming 👍
The LT just gives you more smiles and emotion.
Yep 👍
Where did you get that weight fig for the Porsche. You're over by 300kg! 1430kg for a pdk gt3
Read the pinned comment 👍
Thanks for this 👌👍
Great video as always buddy. Tough one! Like you, if I could have both, the Porsche would be a daily and the McLaren would be the track day toy!! If I could only have one, it would be the McLaren. Both are very nice cars though.
Thanks 👍
Well, the gt3 is the better quality car and reasonable to maintain, so if the purchase price is a stretch then gt3, if it's easily affordable then it depends on use, like you say in the review, if it's a feel special occasional car then the McLaren all day, looks so much more special than the Porsche, but if it's a car you're gonna use a couple of times a week then the gt3 makes more sense..... I couldn't think of better alternatives to have a purchasing headache over than these 2 either 👍🏻
Yeah I agree 👍
Honestly I’d pick the 600lt. Very well done Video Sir Pete. If I won the lottery I’d have my camaro completely revamped and upgraded.
Whilst I would love a McLaren I couldn't deal with the dreadful dealers. Where as the Porsche GT3 could be serviced reliably wherever I wanted.
👍
👍
4s is way raw than its given credit..I have a 996 4s n a 9974s..the 996 is actually an 05 so it's one of the last ones and it has an x51 pack..I find myself driving the 996 way more..its really raw n I've never had an ims bearing issue nor have I ever worried bout it..
The BIG difference is you can drive the GT3, you only admire the McClaren while it sits in service waiting to be fixed. The other thing is the depreciation of the McClaren is faster than a failing US bank. The GT3 just doesn’t depreciate
I don’t think any McLaren has had systematic engine failures such as those by the 991.1 GT3.
675LT Is by far the best Mclaren since F1.
Super series car is a big step up with hydraulic suspension and active aero.
Mega rare unlike the 600LT hence an extra £100k as well but more than worth the premium if you can find one. Give me a napier green spider please
Nice 👌
@@PetrolPed review of 675LT required, you wont regret it
@@gazzabrownhigh8891 Done ;-). ua-cam.com/video/Te0EDmWg9QI/v-deo.html
Love them both How sweet it is ❤🤍👏👏🇦🇺
Weights were wrong I believe ? Two very different cars both awesome however reliability, racing heritage and the NA 500HP with a 9000rpm redline would sway me to the Porsche. In saying that the 992 GT3 manual would be my choice over the 991.2
Please read pinned comment 👍
It's the GT3 for me. The lineage of a 911 for one, more practical and you can't beat a NA flat 6 on full chat.
Oh yes 🙌
I’m a Porsche nut and although I love the looks of the McLaren I just couldn’t stop looking over my shoulder at the Porsche……… Nope, it’s the GT3
👍
Top job PP...... Great video and Wonderful cars.... :-))
Glad you like them!
Pete, quoted kerb weight for the GT3 is 1505 kgs, not 1700, even a Turbo is only 1670kgs……
Please see pinned comment. My mistake 👍
Great roads 👍
Porsche all the way Pete!! Thank you Anthony James Cars for setting up the Ped 👍🏻🍻🇨🇦
Fantastic video and editing ….. dream material for most of us! Now where’s that lottery ticket?? … if money were no object it would have to be the McClaren just for the overall head turning special theatre of the car. As you said it’s a car to drool over and look at in the garage and take out for those special days when the drives are something you relive in your head for a long time after 😊
Real world….. having looked at Anthony James’s stock list, I’d take the Maserati and have £100k to spend on road trips!! 👍
That McLaren 600LT sounds GOOOOOOODDDDDDD
Sure does 👍
Mr.Ped, I assume you realise now, you had an audible typo (@04.30), when saying the Porsche weighed 1760kg? Did you mean to say 1460? 😁. Anyway, great video as always, keep'em coming 👍
You are correct. Please read the pinned comment 👍
Was gonna say, that's more bmw territory 😊
@@PetrolPed1500 curb weight is heavy my 991.2 GT3 Touring with mods is 1360kgs … lithium battery-35, Dundon header and OEM titanium center -45, BBS wheels -35lbs … PCCB’s, buckets, manual no cage
Awesome stuff Ped 👏 👌 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I think this is the trouble we all know the reliability issues with everyone thats owned a mclaren. The porsche as a daily car is a no brained, plus I would want to see my pride and joy,and not look through the glass as the dealers workshop
I know quite a few McLaren owners that haven’t had issues and Porsche owners that have 🤷♂️
Wow, two awesome cars. Did the pinch hurt?! Choices choices. I’d happily take either.
A tough day 😜
nice some good roads in that area. both brilliant weekend blast or trakday cars, the porsche. probably. if only
Good Evening Petrol ped hope you are doing well. I really enjoy your videos and i think the McLaren 600LT looks amazing and sounds brilliant that V8 then you have the GT3 which looks brilliant thank you as always wonderful video 👍
Thanks mate 👍
Have owned examples of both of these two cars and as far as the better drivers car I’d take the 600LT over GT3
Me too 👍
the kerb weight of the GT3 is not 1730kg its more like 1410-1435kg
Could you really daily a GT3? I'm sure you could but from a retaining value standpoint would you want too? I'd have both but twisting my arm, I'd pick the 600LT - that sound and those exhausts. I think I'd only take it out at night for the firework display in the rear view mirror 😂😂😂
Oh yes 🙌
Peter…Yes…it is the 911 that I would take home because I’m sure it would be a car to enjoy without worries whereas the McLaren would bite with many bills. Should you buy one?….financial madness and Tracey might get a bit frantic but don’t wait until you can write a cheque and drive it home…by then you might well be you old to insure it and too feared to discover its deep abilities. Buy one when you can…tomorrow might be too late all of us. Enjoy every moment. Richard😀😀😀😀
Good thinking 👍
Hi petrol ⛽️
I haven’t watched a minute 😮.
Porsche all day every day.
Residual value
Drive experience
👍
I enjoyed watching the Video. One of the best Videos you have Filmed 😊
Wow, thank you Jamie 👍
That’s a lot of revs having only driven the McLaren 3 miles. Oil still cold? :-|
You saw me warming the car up before I left then 🤷♂️
@@PetrolPed nope, obvs not. Sorry if I misunderstood - was just going by your comment at 20:17. Enjoyed the vid 👍
991.2 GT3 hands down. Manual touring even better 😅
GT3 in a Ferrari Scuderia halloween costume lol
911 GT3 for me as I’d want a car I could daily
If you won the lottery Ped, I’m sure you’d take both 😜 That looked like a lot of fun 👍 thank you.
You bet I would 😂
I’ve never been a Porsche guy but on this comparison it’s the 911 GT3 hands down.
👍
It would be the Porsche for me 😃😃
Am I the only one that looked at how the Accost barn had been converted into a garage before looking at the cars! ☺. Whilst I'd love a McLaren it would have to be a 12c which is still IMO the best looking Mc as I'm not into carbon or aggression. Otherwise it's Porsche all day long for me.
Porsche every time PP😎
👍
I had a 991 GT3 and 600 LT Spider in the garage, I sold the GT3 and kept the 600 LT, far superior car and way more special.
Porsche every day of the week for me, been my ultimate dream car since I knew they existed, though with a lottery win and am talking the big one, would have both along with a host ofGrB Rally weapons , put the feelers out for some tasty rally car reviews please!!!
OK 👍
Personally as a road car I'd prefer a 991.2 GT3 Touring with the Standard seat's. All the performance but not as in your face and comfier on a road trip. The only issue is the price difference between the Touring and a normal GT3. You'll be lucky to get one for less than £200k. 🤬🤬 P.S I drove past a Chicane Grey 600LT on Saturday just down the road from me. Looked mean on the road. Not sure about the reliability issues with McLaren's though so the GT3 gets my vote..Who needs more than 500hp on the road anyway??
Mac for me, more special every time you get in it
👍
Fab cars, the Porsche for me tbh and would prefer the solidity in a shunt, also the mc was doing a good impression of Thomas the tank engine as it came out of the shed😊 fab vid as always!
I thought, Ivor the V8 engine 😊
😂😂😂
Great video mate McLaren 600LT all day for my choice
Same here!
in the flesh the 600lt just looks like a spaceship compared to the gt3. you have to see in the real
Red lines at 9,000 rpm ;)
Take a look at the tachometer 🤷♂️
The reason the McClaren is on another level is because you’ll need another level of money keeping it running . The dealer costs are astronomical. The GT3 is just a better purchase.
The McClaren will cost you so much more to own.
I'd take the GT3 just cause of reliability
👍
Are you sure the GT3 weighs that much ?
Great video, GT3 for me all day long ❤
GT3 all the way!! More raw and Porsche just runs and runs and runs!!!
GT3 Touring and a McLaren 675LT
Red lines at 9k revs too....another error
The kerb weight for the gt3 is NOT 1,760. It’s more than 300 kg less than that
GT3 is the one to buy!
I know they're amazing to drive having been lucky enough to drive a couple, but I just can't get excited about a Porsche. Just doesn't do it for me. Unlike the McLaren, which is everything I love about cars.
👍
Pictures/video do not do the 600lt justice. In person they are amazing make me go wow. Pictures seem to make it look small
I agree 👍
Great vid and as a 600LT owner its a question I regularly ask myself if I should change to a GT3. I am still none the wiser :)
I had a gt3 for about 3 months, then I sold it. I was a bit underwhelmed by it, thinking of getting a true super car in the future
We take the 600LT even if only for the weekend 😊. On a side note does PDK mean Pretty Darn Kwick
When you referred to Porsche Performance and PP in the video, I automatically thought it was PP ... Petrol Ped !!! ........ Maybe you should registered the IP now Pete, wink wink. Cheers
😂😂😂
I can think of worse days to endure, niiiiice 👍👍👍🇬🇧
Tell me about it 😂
If I took the 600lt, I’d have a 911r, 911gts, or 911 turbo s in the garage to daily.
I like your thinking 👍
