Hey Jeff, I just got the tripolar x Rose and I can't seem to get the orange light to stay on consistently. Any tips? It's so frustrating. I actually was using aloe with minerals in it, and then bought the tripolar gel. The fragrance was too overpowering for me and I actually had an even tougher time with keeping the light on consistently. I'm flummoxed!
@@hdiponzio I understand your frustration. I have contacted the company and wasn’t given great answers. My understanding is it takes about three minutes for the orange light to come on while doing one area. That means the device has reached optimum temperature. I then do about 3-4 minutes on that area. When I move to another part of my face, the light goes off but it doesn’t take as long for the orange light to go on. The forehead is the one area which doesn’t always get the orange light. I always start on my neck doing one side before moving to the next. I do under my chin but not the thyroid. Then I move up to each side of my face. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to do everything. My understanding is it only works with the Tripollar gel which is why you may be having difficulties. I don’t find the smell bad. Maybe you need to get used to it. I am still on my first tube. The company said when you finish your initial phase of 3 times a week, it should be used 1-4 times a month. I try to do it once a week. I hope this information helps you. Thank you for emphasizing that the home RF devices don’t reach the frequencies or depths required for fat loss. Dr. Dray just said the same thing in her video. And I researched this myself because I was scared. But facial fat loss from home-use RF devices has never been reported. In the studies I read, the only adverse effect found was temporary redness. But the devices were found to make a statistically significant improvement in skin tightness and wrinkle depth.

Hi! I have the tripollar for almost 2 years and I really hate it !! 😢 The heating is really uneven (takes forever to heat so the first 5 minutes are lost) and I can`t use it on the forehead cause it hurts, neither the neck cause after 25 min for both cheeks and EMS I`m fed up…). I think it works well though, but it is not a routine I like and I force myself to do… I am looking for another RF device to be honest and I am thinking about the nebulyft. Thanks Trina for your useful and detailed videos I love your content !! Btw, instead of buying another RF device, do you think the new NIRA would be a better idea (I am not sure to understand the difference between laser and RF …) ? Best ❤

I know! There are so many devices. The Myolift microcurrent devices from 7E Wellness are fab, but any of them are good if you use them consistently (Foreo, Solawave, NuFace, etc) and I haven't done RF for the body, so I don't know about that....
I just happened to run across this video and am so glad I did. I purchased the Newa cordless and used your code. It was already on sale as well! I’m also a subscriber now! Great to find you!
I’m a new subscriber to your channel Thank you for this comparison. I have the Newa and the Tripollar X and a microcurrent machine. I usually combine between the RF and the microcurrent to get results. Do you think it is good to invest in the Tripollar VX? My jowls is my big concern. Will it give me more definition in that area then a combination of Rf and microcurrent? Thank you 🙏
I don’t know that I would spend the money to get the vx since you already have the x. Can you try upping the frequency of use for both devices and see if you can accelerate improvement?
@@beautybeyond40 Thank you for your answer and patience. I already did but still a little bit of sagging so I wonder if the vx can help more then the microcurrent
40-42 degrees Celsius is enough to affect collagen production any hotter and you start to potentially risk burning the skin. any hotter and you might get only a 10% more effectiveness with a 50-200% risk of irritation.
I have the Titan, but I am thinking about a new device. Do you think the Silkn Titan is on the same level as these or not as good? Thank you for making this video.

@@beautybeyond40 thanks a lot for your quick reply , so If I use Nu Face device together with Nebulyft I will have greater results or I can use just Nebulyft device ? Thanks 😊
I wouldn’t. I would use the gel that comes with the device because you’re using heat to conduct heat into the dermis and I would be scared to use a random gel that doesn’t come with a device because I wouldn’t want to burn my skin or not see great results.
Hello again! I have realized that strong heat may not be so great for my skin… which has a tendency for rosacea and exzema. I got the Tripollar Stop Vx a while ago, but I think it is too much and I have not been using for the last few months. Therefore, I went back to this video. Do you think the Nebulyft would be a good alternative? Thanks!
“The best RF device is the one you’re going to use!” 🙌 True words. TLDR: all work, but she thinks Tripollar was the best and fastest. Quick notes: 1) Nebulyft - 10 mins/daily RF and keeps heat at a stable temp. Suitable for all skin types. Can use aloe vera gel. 2) Newa Classic (corded), Newa+ cordless. 10-25 mins for 4-5/wk for 1st month, then 2/wk after. Gel can cause breakouts, don’t like the smell. Not for darker skin tones. 3) Tripollar 25 mins for 2-3/week for 8-12 weeks and then 1/wk for maintenance. DMA/ELV for extra sculpting and toning, is it EMS? All 3 are multi-polar RF, none will affect subcutaneous facial fat, 10-25 min treatments, 1 yr warranty. Microcurrent = muscles vs RF = skin tightening. The combo is her fav to keep her facial shape and tone, especially in lower face. Always check her descriptions for discount codes!

II'm a mature male. I've been using Newa for a year or so and I like it. I'm wondering if the Nebulyft would be better to tighten the neck? Is the Nebulyft more effective than Newa? Please advise.
Yes, I’m not sure these devices would be powerful enough for the other parts of the body, since the skin can be thicker in other regions of the body than the face.
@@beautybeyond40 In the above video, you said you tried this device, Newa, with aloe vera gel and it worked fine. I heard that the Triplollar will only work with its own gel and not with other conductivity gels.
*Her information regarding the TriPollar devices is INCORRECT* . According to the TriPollar users manual that is on their website, their devices should ONLY be used on Type II, III, or IV skin. They are contraindicated for Type I (very pale skin), or Type V or VI (dark brown or black skin). This is true for ALL their RF devices, including the $849 TriPollar Vx Gold The manuals for each of their RF devices further state, "The safety and effectiveness of the device when used in individuals in pale skin (Type I) or darker skin types (Type V or VI) or may be prone to skin discoloration has not been established." RF devices produce an inflammatory response by heating the skin. Darker skin has more melanin, and therefore a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scarring. Fractional RF, which is only done by professionals, is safer because there is less heat and it's more targeted. I'm an RN, and IMO people with dark brown or black skin should not use these home devices. At all.
Hello. Thanks for your comment. To clarify, my information is NOT INCORRECT. I am a very detail oriented person and attempt to be meticulous in the information that I include in my videos so as to not post incorrect information. The reason why I didn’t include the information about the skin types is that I received the international version of the device from the tripollar team before the device was available in the US. This version of the device includes DMA mode as opposed to ELV mode. This international device does not include the FDA information about skin types that is included in the US manual. I made this video with the information and manual that I had, which was the international one. So my video does not include incorrect information, it just does not include the information in the manual for the US device.
@@beautybeyond40 The link you provide is to the *U.S. devices* , though, not the international ones, so most viewers would presume those are the devices to which you are referring. Nowhere do you say you are using a different version, or that it has a different mode. I enjoy your videos, and know that you extensively research items before posting. However, I respectfully suggest you update this video and your attached chart to reflect current information for the U.S. devices because those are the ones for which you provide a link and discount code. I've been trying to decide between getting the Lumo or the Tripollar VX. I like that the Lumo includes Led therapy. Which would you personally recommend? I'm trying to target more lower face elasticity from weight loss that I'm starting to see early elasticity loss from.

If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.My main concerns are the jowl area, jaw line and around the mouth. Thanks again!
I would honestly look into bioidentical hormones too. My mom went through menopause and she said it was doing a number on her skin till she got on the hormones. As far as devices Beauty Beyond 40 has great reviews and I’m new to devices so no comment on that.
Have you heard of the Oralift? It's a facial device that was developed by a dentist and looks like a small mouthguard. I have not tried it, but users have reported improvement in nasal labial folds, mouth lines, and the jaw area. It currently costs $295 USD. @@poeticwaxer it varies to the individual person’s sensitivity. Personally the Tripollar Stop VX’s electro current on the high setting can be painful in some areas closer to the mouth on the jaw line. I have to use the low setting. Knowing what I know now about the Tripollar Stop VX, I would get two separate devices since you can’t use the VX above the jawline. I would get a NEWA or Nebulyft and a Myolift.
They are both good for that as they are both skin tightening devices. The best one is the one you will actually use consistently per the device guidelines. They both work.

@@bleujeen honestly, I think a lot of the RF devices can be hit or miss. I’ve had my Tripollar Stop X Rose stop heating up properly within a couple weeks of use. I own both a Nebulyft N1 and a NEWA+ wireless. They both have their own merits. So I’m sure with any RF device, you will find people that have had bad experiences, that’s just common sense when producing so many devices for so many people. Things can go wrong.
Hello Trina. i'm 52, i bought a nebulyft after looking at some videos of yours and then i realized i cannot use it because Ihave permanent retainers behind my teeth... i wanted something for dark circles, to preserve my skin and to help facial muscles...given i can't use radiofrequency, what would you recommend me? thank you very much
Hi - sorry to hear that. I don’t have retainers so I’m not sure which devices you can’t use, but look into red light therapy and microcurrent to see if you could use those modalities? Or nira laser or lyma laser? You’ll have to check their FAQs and contraindications online to see if it says anything about retainers because I don’t know. Of all of these, the lyma and microcurrent will help muscles while all the rest will help skin only.
Hello, thank you so much for this great video and presentation! I like very very much the way you present the devices with a transparent way. would you have a discount code for the Tripollar vx Gold 2? The code TRINA20 does not work anymore. Which one do you prefer between Newa and Tripollar vx Gold2?
My tripollar code is trina20 sitewide. I just tested it and it works for me. What happens when you try to use it? Maybe since the gold2 is new, they didn’t set it up for my code yet? I didn’t even know there was a gold2 device so I can’t compare it yet. In general, the VX devices are more expensive than the newa because they have extra features. It just comes down to if you want to pay extra for the extra features for extra tightening your jowls and jaw. I’m pretty sure I compare the VX to the newa in my chart included in this video if you want to look at it.
Sorry I don’t know anything about this since I don’t have any dental implants. The best thing for you to do is to reach out to the company directly so they can help you
I have dental implants and use the Newa Classic. I haven't had any problem using the Newa or my microcurrent device with my implants. However, I did read somewhere that you can put gauze in your mouth between your cheek and teeth to offset any discomfort if you're unsure. Hope this helps.

You are better off with a NEWA then. You can get it cheaper and I feel like it’s a superior device due to the more comfortable treatment head and the radio technology called 3DEEP used in the NEWA is cutting edge.
You said new collagen takes a month to build, but I keep hearing to not disrupt this process and only use RF once a month or you getting anti aging effects. But you are saying with these devices you can use more than once a week. Please clarify.

@@DB6904. the advantages of the Nebulyft over the Newa would be a shorter treatment time due to the larger head and micro dots and a lower more consistent temp of 42 Celsius. The Newa gets hotter and has a smaller treatment head, but both devices work and both need to be used about 5 days a week.
Here is a response on Amazon regarding the ELV. I do wish it had microcurrent, also. I feel like the tripollar gets hotter than the nuface N1
Each device has a temperature listed on the website you can look up
40-42 degrees Celsius is enough to affect collagen production any hotter and you start to potentially risk burning the skin. any hotter and you might get only a 10% more effectiveness with a 50-200% risk of irritation.

Love your realistic approach and recommendation: the best device is the one you’re actually going to use
Yes! It can be similar to a new toy you play with for a few days and then forget about. You need to be consistent with these devices for them to work.
Can you use your own gel with these devices?
I wouldn’t. I would use the gel that comes with the device because you’re using heat to conduct heat into the dermis and I would be scared to use a random gel that doesn’t come with a device because I wouldn’t want to burn my skin or not see great results.
But you said you use aloe vera gel
@@husnajowhar5978 that may have been the case 4 years ago, but not these days.
Thanks!
Perhaps - the nebulyft does not get as hot
“The best RF device is the one you’re going to use!” 🙌 True words. TLDR: all work, but she thinks Tripollar was the best and fastest. Quick notes:
1) Nebulyft - 10 mins/daily RF and keeps heat at a stable temp.
Quick edit for you: nebulyft is straight rf - no ems.
Great information. How do I get discount for these devices ?
Thanks. By viewing the description box and clicking a link and using a promo code I listed.

No, not more effective. Just different in my opinion.
Thank you! I’m curious if these can be used anywhere on your body? I’m thinking about tightening abdominal skin?
These devices are for face, chin, and neck. I haven’t use them on the body.
Yes, I’m not sure these devices would be powerful enough for the other parts of the body, since the skin can be thicker in other regions of the body than the face.

Hi @beautbeyond40 two are on sale and one isn’t. Which one do you have?
Hi - I don’t understand this question. I have all of these devices that I used to make this video.
This is true for ALL their RF devices, including the $849 TriPollar Vx Gold
The manuals for each of their RF devices further state, "The safety and effectiveness of the device when used in individuals in pale skin (Type I) or darker skin types (Type V or VI) or may be prone to skin discoloration has not been established."
RF devices produce an inflammatory response by heating the skin.
People with Type I, V, or VI skin could be harmed if they rely on the info in this video and use the U.S. Tripollar devices. I know that is not your intent.
Thank you for responding, and for allowing me to share my viewpoint.
@@Cloudancer2024 I apologize since you seem so disappointed in my information. I clearly list both links in my video description: *TRIPOLLAR:
US Link: bit.ly/tripollarUS

I included the info I had per the manual I had for this video. I don't have the U.S. device, or the U.S. manual or the U.S. FDA info on hand. I can only use the information I have that has been provided to me by the brand when making a video. Anyone who is shopping the device can read the website info on the Tripollar site before purchasing it. The device websites are always going to be the best place for any consumer to read the latest published info and manuals for a device since they tend to change. In the US, you can click through to the link I provided, bit.ly/tripollarUS, and see the skin type info. Once a UA-cam video is posted, I cannot go back and edit it, so this is impossible. It is up to the consumer to go to the website and inform themselves before purchasing any product - any product at all - to see if it's good for them based on their specific needs.

I looked into newa app. But couldn’t find it. Is it on apple store?

What do you think of tripollar classic? I can't afford the vx. i am 42 and i am interested in rf.thank you
I haven’t tried it, but I’m very impressed with this brand so I think it’s worth it to give it a try and take note of the return policy
You are better off with a NEWA then. You can get it cheaper and I feel like it’s a superior device due to the more comfortable treatment head and the radio technology called 3DEEP used in the NEWA is cutting edge.
Can you confirm what your promo codes are for the last RF device you reviwed in this video?
All promo codes are listed in the video description or you can visit my site: beautybeyond.com/shop
Thank u
You said new collagen takes a month to build, but I keep hearing to not disrupt this process and only use RF once a month or you getting anti aging effects. But you are saying with these devices you can use more than once a week. Please clarify.
I think you are speaking about in-office devices. These devices are for at-home use and have different usage protocols. I provide recommended usage guidelines per the manuals, so I am only sharing what specifically comes with each device. I have never done an in-office treatment and am not familiar with those devices, but you could research it or ask your professional (esthetician or dermatologist). Hope that clears it up.
Good morning 🌅
I'm trying to decide which device is better for me and am leaning towards the newa and or lumo, I like that the Lumo is 10 minutes once a week or twice a week.
But still haven't counted the newa out because it seems to be a really good modality on its own for RF, although I was planning on researching and purchasing either an EMF or microcurrent to use along with the NEWA to offer some lift If that's the route I go...
Also is the NEWA device something that can be used on the Neck area???
It would be great if you could help with any feedback or personal experience, I'm trying to go through all your videos but I might have missed some so sorry if my question you might have already answered in some of your previous videos.
This is my device buying month and I waited all year for this.., it's time to make my move!!! any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
I always start with clean skin and then wash the gel off afterwards and then do my skincare routine after. Regarding modalities: take my quiz: beautybeyond.com/quiz
I would go with the Newa as it uses a really nice multi-polar technology called 3DEEP that penetrates to the right area in the dermis with its RF heat. I personally have had two Tripollar Stop devices and ended up deciding on getting the Nebulyft N1 RF device.
@@hadleys.4869 Thanks I really appreciate your feedback, I will look into that, would you recommend the Nebulyft N1 over the NEWA?
@@DB6904. the advantages of the Nebulyft over the Newa would be a shorter treatment time due to the larger head and micro dots and a lower more consistent temp of 42 Celsius. The Newa gets hotter and has a smaller treatment head, but both devices work and both need to be used about 5 days a week.
Arriva in italy nebulyft?
Hi, can nebulyft make a difference in sagging jaw line.
Yes
Hi, is it just the heat from radio frequency?
The modality uses heat to tighten the skin. Feel free to go to a radio frequency device website to read more about the technology.
I have a FaceFX and it gets really hot with a red light, just wondering if that was the same thing?
@@MaryhelenKarageorge I haven’t heard of that device. Check the manual or website?
I had Thermage FLX done a few weeks ago. Any idea if I can use a radio frequency device since I recently had that done?
Here is a response on Amazon regarding the ELV. I do wish it had microcurrent, also. "Hi there, ELV is not the same as a microcurrent and is different to the DMA featured in our international devices. ELV is a unique TriPollar function which works to enhance the RF treatment in the jawline while reminding the user to keep their device in constant motion with a vibrating sensation.".
Not sure about thermage and at-home rf. I would definitely ask the provider that did the thermage for you.
Ty for posting
! Thanks to you i have the nuface n myolift now im looking into the newa . I am currently on tretinoin would there be an adverse reaction if i start rf while on tretinoin?
I still use tret a few times a week. I recommend going to each manufaturer's website and check the FAQ section. If you don't see it there, reach out to ask them.
@@beautybeyond40 do u use devices when u use tret or on your days off tret?
@@Linallarii usually on an off day
@@Linallarii I use the Nebulyft N1 and use Tretinoin every night without issues.
is it okay to use for a half hour every day?
I’m not sure which device you are referring to, but I would follow the instructions per each device manual so you don’t overdo it
