  • The lynx is a carnivorous animal from the feline family, characterized by its medium-sized body and long ears that carry a hair tuft. Especially the lynx for its ability to adapt to different environments, as it lives in mountainous areas and open plains, and prefers plant species such as tissues and gyres.
    Food and behavior
    The lynx feeds mainly on small prey such as rabbits, rodents, and birds. To find a nocturnal animal, as it begins its activity in searching for food at sunset, according to its evil senses in hunting.
    Reproduction
    The gestation period of the female lynx ranges between 68 and 81 days, and it gives birth to 1 to 6 young. The lynx is considered a solitary animal, except when approaching the mating season.

    The lynx lives in different regions around the world, including Canada, the United States, and the Mexican Times, in addition to some areas in Asia
