Love your bottled enthusiasm ❤ Yes and I am on Valium as a crossover to withdraw from my fast acting benzodiazepine of many years.
It works differently for different people. Quickest benzos from Valium to Ativan and Klonopin ever worked for me is 5 minutes.
Once diazepam has been taken orally, over 90 percent of the drug will be absorbed within 15 minutes when you take it on an empty stomach. However, when food is present in your stomach, it can extend absorption time and feel its effects upwards of 45 minutes.

Thank you for this video. I was on Klonopin for 5 years taking 2mg up to 3 times a day and still felt horrible. I took one valium tablet and i felt a lot less anxious, but i felt really really tired
could you study or concentrate ? and how was post-valium effects when it wears out?

I Love Valoum it lasts and helps my Anxiety so much.
Diazepam made my anxiety worse
I’m not sure if I got prescribed wrong but I went to doctors today, to mention I’m going on holiday and get bad panic attacks a lot, doctor agreed and they gave me a prescription for 150 approx tablets at 5mg, I just collect 5 boxes from chemist in UK, I’m not sure if pharmacy messed it up or what but what a win

@@simonstones1918 I don’t really use them, any time I get prescribed them is just like for a week every 6 months when my panic attacks are bad and don’t stop but usually only get about 14 of them at 5mg a tablet but the pharmacy must have made a mistake when they gave me all those boxes, the doctor then asked me to return them but fat chance of that lol they’re always good to have even if you don’t take them. I hate taking tablets in general, don’t even take paracetamol because anxiety with tablets is so bad, always think if I take it somethings gonna go wrong with my body so just avoid taking them but I feel like my anxiety and panic attacks are virtually non existent when I know I have tablets there if needed

Valium 10mg tablets melt under your tongue for fasted absorption
I tried going from 1 mg alprazolam 4xs daily to 10 mgs diazepam 4 times daily. I couldn't do it. Withdrawals were awful. I was told I wasn't given the correct dose to switch over. 😢

For the onset? Yeah, it does not kick in as fast as Xanax and with my panic disorder having something that kicks in as little as five minutes and definitely by 10 is brilliant for me. As of right now I get 75 immediate release Xanax a month and 60 Xanax XR a month. The later lasts 12 hours so I have 24 hour coverage.
My psychiatrist told me that in hour next appointment he is putting me on 40 Valium a month and taking me off of all 135 Xanax! I am so scared and that is NOT how you take someone off of benzodiazepines. Other people who don’t need benzodiazepines really screw things up for people who do. I am on disability for three anxiety disorders and bipolar I. I’ve never abused any of my meds. There is no reason for this.

@@MeghenFarley You know what he actually did? After trying to lie more and more with every appointment? Put me on Valium and cut it down monthly and then told me they wouldn’t take Medicaid recipients anymore even though I had private insurance only for him. I called reception to confirm that and they said it was true. Thankfully I had already scheduled for a second opinion. The receptionist told me he was supposed to set me up with a new treatment plan, he didn’t attempt that. The new woman I am seeing put me back on the Xanax I was initially on. And I need to take some right now.

I’m going to need to take some Valium for an upcoming journey. I had a panic attack last time I took this journey. What’s a good dose to prevent, please?
It works well, but nothing like the brand name . Valium hasn’t been available for a while , the generic diazepam works, but like all other generics seems quite watered down.

Maybe in your Country where i am from (Germany) the generic has to be 100 bioequivalent to the original. Roche stopped selling valium here for this reason.

@@JohnJackson-xd4ncvery very long lasting. I'm on 60 mgs a day now and don't get best sleep ans memory impairment daily. Gonna try and wean to smaller amount as thr memory thing is scaring me. I also need this amount as ptsd/anxiety off the charts
Benzos cause dementia. My mother was on benzos half the life , and died from dementia. I was on diazapam for just over 20 yrs and I can tell you , yea sure you kinda just float through life with anxiety at bay but there are quite a few cons. Sure it works quick but there are other ways to deal with it. Sorry to everyone who has just started and you think you have found the answer to all those 'uncomfortable moments' . Just so you all know, people can tell you are on something , because there is a saying that ,' if it changes the way you feel, it changes the way you look' .
As a person who was stuck in my own home for over a year due to panic attacks when I stepped outside - I don't give a shit 😂

Probably not many people will agree with this but Recently I have worked out micro dose of ecstasy Can eliminate Social anxiety And some types of ptsd It's working very well for me But I recommend speaking to a doctor before you try anything like this

Im currently reducing on Diazepam/Valium,ive been on them for years,i agree probably the best alround benzodiazepine. In the last two months ive reduced from 20mgs daily,down to 15mgs daily,one three times a day,instead of 20mgs of Diazepam daily. (Four times a day) ive been on them for years and cant wait to get down to 10mgs of which I'm will maintain on 10mgs daily in two divided doses. Its fast acting and works within 20-25 mins in my case.
May I ask how your withdrawal symptoms are, if you are having them at all?

Lies. I weigh 98lbs, I don’t eat much if at all usually only when my office gives free food that I like. I can’t fall asleep on 10mgs of valium unless I down it with alcohol.

My doctor switched me from 4 mg of lorazepam 4 times a day to 5mg of this stuff 4 times a day Are the does equal to each other?? I meant to say 1mg or lorazepam 4 times a day
