In the 60's Valium was called mama's little helper, really helps anxiety.
Valium to me seems to have no sedation effects but for sure reduces anxiety.
Right I'm feeling "Normal " ,like some one without a nervous system disorder, just 5migs this morning, 8 yesterday 2-3mg at a time.
Makes me sleepy especially if I smoke weed with it

@@user-ln6bn7jr3wyeah Valium and burning will make you sleep all day. Especially if you dab extracts. You might not even know realize how much you’re sleeping
You dont get that in treatment just the benzo. So thats why we have anxiety. We cant someke anything just straight sober up @user-ln6bn7jr3w

I've tasted Valium or any other anesthetic agent 4 times on a surgery administered through IV, at some time around 2022 - 2023. Then I've been having this unpleasant migraine attack for more than 2 weeks for no reason. Doctor diagnosed that I might stress myself too much, but I don't even know what's going on or what am I thinking. So I've been prescribed a med that contains 2 mg of diazepam with 500 mg of metamizole sodium. I do feel a little of drowsiness, but I can still ride my motorbike and even go as far as doing deliveries of food and goods throughout the city. I'm not flexing about drugs I had, I just want to ask a question or two: which one's wrong my bodily system's experience with sedatives or simply underdose?
my dr is tapering me down way to quickly with this. does anyone have advice. went from 4x10 to 3x5 in a week....
I do abuse 10mg valiums, I’m looking to stop now because my skin on my face is starting to become flakey & I’m finding blood in my stool which both of these are common issues when abusing valiums, so just giving people a head up

Valium may be used occasionally to relieve anxiety and some other conditions such as acute muscle spasms and alcohol withdrawal
The doctor prescribed Diazapan 20 years ago after losing four family members (including my husband) through suicide. I trusted the doctor as after leaving that doctor kept prescribing. The doctors did not explain anything about this medication! Who duty was it to explain the side affects and going off the medication? I go to a Naturapath now helping me to withdraw. I'm finished with the medical profession!!!
It's actually the job of pharmacists, where you received your medication, to explain it to you.
@@toanhien494 It should be the doctors place to tell you about the medication they prescribe. They know your history the pharmacist doesn’t.

Your story is literally the same as mine. Now we have a benzo holocaust and it can take years to safely taper off. I didn't realize you could die from seizures if you were just doing a 30 day inpatient rehab. Going off too fast can cause permanent brain damage. I'm curious how you are doing now and if you had some success.
Thank you for your feedback, I now can't take Diazapan as it cases panic attacks, high heart rate and I'm losing weight... strange though since this happened I am not wanting the Diazapan now...my Acupuncturist is doing a fantastic healing on me. I hope you are alright 💞
can anyone give me advice. i have been taking benzos for 4 years illicity some ridiculous amounts like 30 a day. now my dr has finally decided to help taper me. they had me on 40mg a day for a month. then it instantly dropped to 30 then 15 the next week. i cannot deal with this and dont want to go back to the street. does anyone have any advice what i can do
Been there mate X U need to tell them your getting dropped way to quick and will relapse and don't want that so personally I would stay on 8,mg daily but that's me. And am 42 and been on them nearly 20 years hope it turns out ok . You'll be ok mate 👍

I’m trying to find an effective pill to reduce my tinnitus. I feel like valium ain’t the right one. Can someone recommend me something.
What dose
Doctors at one time gave me a small dose 2mg of Valium for Tinnitus but I did get better. Tinnitus is very bad.
I never knew this. In your opinion, which benzodiazepine is least likely to have increased risk of s-word ideation?
Most likely Clobazam in my opinion, the faster acting, medium-long duration benzodiazepines as well as fast acting short duration seem to be the ones I’ve noted to have most potential in increasing suicidal behaviour, especially if accidentally mixed with alcohol.
They prescribed me 10 mg of Valium for my extreme back pain but I'm scared cus I definitely have addiction problems so I don't want to add but dang My back hurts bad ASF
I wish more people would realize addiction usually requires a pleasure element that someone needs to derive from taking the drug first. Doctors seem to think that all drugs that are associated with addiction are addictive universally, which is simply wrong. Also, sometimes what happens with drugs is that only the very first dosage induces extreme pleasure and (almost) all other ones affect the patient vastly differently.
In hindsight, I have been physically dependent on Valium on numerous occasions, but quitting cold turkey was very easy because I barely even realized it was Valium keeping withdrawal headaches at bay.
I was suffering from insane insomnia feeling like I wasn't sleeping at all id take 4 of these before bed and actually be able to sleep. Only after affects was severe drowsiness the next day
I have been taking Valium 10 mg daily since September...1969! Don't plan on changing. Never have taken more and am not even aware I am taking them. No side effects or sleepiness or anything else. I do drink moderately but take no other drugs. Guess my body is used to it. Does not help me sleep. Never have gotten a high. Nothing. Lot of chemicals have gone through my body I guess. 😢
Suggestions for flight anxiety?
Most people take a antihistamines that make the sleepy , I thing the feeling of them mske me more groggy the affect people diffrent where valume doses do the to me it's a great medication that works
DIAZEPAM POINT BLANK
Valium last too long. It actually gives a hangover like alcohol the next day such a crap feeling probably metabolites remaining the next day. Bromazolam does not have this hangover effect and leaves the body quicker without these nausea aftereffects. Took valium once during a romantic breakup to ease anxiety and sleep and it worked but next day was the shits and never did it again.
Diazepam doesn't give a hangover effect.

It says avoid caffeine because that kills diazepam off and into withdrawal

You serious like I said caffeine is stronger than diazepam that's why it says avoid caffeine on the leaflet.
Used to take 28 10 mg blue diazepam.
Still felt ok off of 280 mg

Given 5mg pre dental surgery. 24hrs later I’m still groggy and super tired. So happy it was a one time thing. 😴🥴
Oh my day's 5 mg one off made you feel tired and groggy you serious, that's a low dose.
A high dose is more than 100 mg , they used to give them out like smarties from 60s to mid 90s.

You definitely do not want to mix any benzodiazepines, especially with oxycodone, basically any opiates stronger than codeine do not mix or you are at risk of dying period. Now, if you do mix a low dose of codeine with a low dose of benzodiazepines, for example 5 mg of Valium and 30 mg of codeine there is a pharmacological phenomena that happens and it is just one of the best experiences on the planet. This combination, outshines oxycodone alone. The issue here is there is a risk of abuse like you say, and if not carefully monitored and the doses are increased, you would die. And it’s clear that the patient knows the difference between opiates and opioids. Also, the difference codeine and how that is different completely to all other opioid/opiate medications.
5mg val and 30mg codiene won’t do anything
Benzos and opiates are a good combination, enhances each one's effect

back in the 70's we use to eat many 10mg Valium, couldn't remember what we did at times. Becareful because it's addictive.
I usually wash down 6x5mg valiums with a glass of wine and generally spend the day sleeping but then come out refreshed ready to tackle my extremely stressful life (otherwise I won’t sleep)
I cannot get any benzos from my Dr, diazepam, Nitrazepam , tamazepam etc , it's like asking for platinum, I tell my Dr I'm not after a uphoric felling even though it's nice 😂😂 so I buy them off the streets, WHY can't I be prescribed a legal medication but if I buy them illegally then that even isn't a concern with my Dr, I'm sick of having pure anxiety, depression, insomnia and yet again the dr's in my surgery don't care it makes me so mad !!
It's shit in England to try and get moggies, isn't it, I get valium but only 20mg a day am in Liverpool trying to source moggies and temazepam but like gold

@@langolingo hiya, update. I take them when I’m real anxious,& they have helped me sm. but I don’t take a lot, only when I hit crisis. I’m only on 5mg - they are good for calming me , but I don’t think I could ever take them daily 🧟♀️

Anti depressant withdrawal is hell on earth also.
Don't know don't take anti depressants or ssrlies but I'm sure someone I know had a box of sertraline or something and it said on the box warning can cause risk of suicide and one of the side affects of all anti depressants is depression
