I have went through IVF and I want to explain that They have to take out the needle and reinsert the needle for every egg removal. Even though They give you a local anesthetic, it can be extremely painful. I wish someone would have told me, that is why I am sharing this.
My sisters and I are quadruplets. Our parents tried IVF after they had failed to conceive naturally. It's incredibly interesting to see the IVF process in details. Now I know how my sisters and I were made.
I just had this procedure done, I'm now awaiting implantation of the two embryos. 🙏 Long post: I wish I had seen this video sooner! I'm in my husband country and they have excellent health care but educating patients is not a priority. So i did not even know they went through the vaginal wall with a needle to retrieve the oocytes (eggs) from my ovaries. Which by the way i took a long time to recover from mostly because i got something not too uncommon yet potentially very dangerous called, Ovarian Hyper-Stimulation Syndrome (OHSS). My ovaries grew to a painfully enormous size full of oocytes and it was so uncomfortable for ~2 weeks. I had to take so many injections before and after egg retrieval, right in the stomach. Most of the hormone needles do not hurt, except for a couple, especially in my case taking a blood thinner to prevent thrombosis was grueling,i cried most times. But now I'm recovered. There's an extra step in IVF not mentioned in the video: cryopreservation (freezing). In my case, they immediately fertilized my oocytes with my husband's sperm and then cryopreserved them for one month while i recovered and I had 1 menstrual cycle. Then they took them out and an embryologist monitored them in a lab. My embryo transfer was 20-Aug-21. All the best to the IVF mamas and papas. It's a sacrifice no one understands until you have to go through it. 💫🫂🍍🌈 Tldr; IVF is worth it but it's a grueling process; women are the real BAMFs.
I also had my baby through an IVF, after a long struggle to get pregnant, I met with Ingenes in Mexico City and they were able to help me make my dream come true. They have the best technology and gave me peace of mind knowing that my baby would come without diseases. Most cases are treatable, do not be afraid and fight for your dream.
All I can think about at the end when they were injecting the embryos back into the woman was "that was me once upon a time" XD because I was born from IVF. I knew details of the procedure but it was nice to see a full explanation with the visuals too, great video!
I was born through IVF. My mom had cervical cancer so her sister was the one who gave birth to us. I never knew her sister so I am very happy for those who know there gestational surrogates. The people who carried them. Also I am glad that people are still watching the 7 1/2 years later :-)

I am a phy/math student but dont no why I am watching each and every video on this channel.
Don't know why but what came to mind was 'Wait, so I can become like the virgin Marry?' lol
No, ur virginity will broken by a device that called "ultrasound probe" and that is more wierd than broken by a man's thing.
@@RoomCorner_ ...
Yeahhhh I guess you rite
@@RoomCorner_ umm wth 🤦🏽♀️ virginity can’t be “broken” that shit is toxic and your HYMEN isn’t going to break because of a ultrasound probe which is used outside of the body. Btw the hymen is flexible and shouldn’t break or bleed during sex; if it does bleed you’re probably doing it wrong 😑
@@reacanyeet8892 technically you totally can because you would still be a virgin because you’ve never had sex (btw virginity is a social concept that means nothing at all, there’s no biological aspect to it)
@@RoomCorner_ bruh you can't lose your virginity by being stuck with a probe. Virginity is not having had intercourse, that doesn't count as intercourse
best video yet
Hey, this is superb!! Thank you very much!!!
is it possible that the one who did IVF can have twins??
