    Every little bit of this is fascinating. How do they make a syringe so small and so thin that it can suck up one single sperm and inject it into the egg? I mean, why is nobody else talking about that?

    It surprises me how little I hear about Male infertility and that being the reason IVF is required. Usually, only womens health issues are mentioned.
    Myself and all the women I know who have, or going to have to do IVF are in that situation due to Male Factor infertility. I was surprised to find out how common it is. People tend to place fertility on the woman, but mens fertility is delicate and can change with simple decisions, like caffine, skipping the gym, having an extra beer, and having a smoke.

    "we are all the same (as we were) 100 years ago."
    NOT TRUE:
    Across a sample of childbearing women the same age, what often makes a difference are things like:
    * Nutrition and preventive care during infancy and childhood.
    * Presence of serious diseases like TB, syphilis, hepatitis,
    Crohne's, etc.
    * Chronic diseases: diabetes, hypothyroidism, ricketts (diseases of malnourishment),
    * Obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol.
    * Poor choices by caregivers during infancy and childhood:
    * One or more parents who smoke, habitual alcohol intake, illegal drug use.
    * Potential genetic factors: sickle cell disease, Rh incompatibility, family history of infertility, difficult pregnancies, or multiple miscarriages.
    Not all individuals are gifted with perfect health at birth, and unfortunately, the factors affecting healthy childhood and adolescence may be deficient.
    Knowing your family's medical history is becoming more important as data is collected and analysed.

      that's not what she meant lol, as taken from context earlier in the video saying "we all feel 10 year younger" and then "we all feel 25 at 40", all she means is that the egg ages with you and no matter how young you feel you'll be that age and so will your egg

    • @jakebenson4187
      @jakebenson4187 10 днів тому

      Very well said, but you forgot to mention ENF. The fact that there are smokers in the country or everyone drives a diesel car affects people.

    • @jakebenson4187
      @jakebenson4187 10 днів тому

      @@HayyanPro167 Sure feeling young doesn't equate to healthy high quality eggs, but if you live like shit, smoke, drink, take drugs, eat junk food, eat tons of oxdiative cholesterol i.e found in only animal foods, drive a diesel or a gas car, constantly be at traffic jams these are the things that lower egg quality. If you feel like 50 at 40, but have been taking care of oneself then the "egg" even though humans have over 500 eggs, will be younger.

    So basically you make several babys and get to decide which one is being implanted into the womb. The one which makes it to the birth is already payed by the rest not implanted. The cost for 1 baby is several siblings. This is why I don't like places like this.

      @tonypringles2285 they can adopt. Mostly the man has a problem having so weak sperm membranes. The doctor should treat the man, not the woman, if the woman's inner ph is healthy. You can change so much if you try to take precautions.
