This hit me just right. I was internally screaming HECK YEAH through the episode at every new turn. This was an amazing ep idea, please do it again! Here's a brief list of things that I found especially delightful: Jacob: The Producers were super cute and I loved seeing Jacob's process of simplifying their forms. The Drawfee crew watching them are.very iconic. Also ded Nathan RIP. Nathan: Working from the then-ongoing Drawfee characterTwitter poll was so inspired and holy shit the result is amazing. There's so much humor and warmth in the piece, and it's a rich tapestry of Drawfee history. Also, Kermit's meaty butt and thighs killed me. Karina: Subverted expectations, turning a violent horny painting into a chaste fairytale scene. Building a duck fountain from the naked male forms was a stroke of genius. Also, holy fuck the different studies she did of the original. That's art, baby. Julia: Return to A Room Full of Vampires, such a classic but with a fresh new twist. I'm just blown away by how she clothed the naked men - the folds, the shapes, the tension in the fabric was delicious. Made them look sexier in my opinion. Also, the shading, oh man.
Every time a new Drawfee video is posted I say to myself "aw, hell yeah!" but sometimes the video title makes me go "AW, HELL YEAH!" and this was one of those times.
Karina really popped off with this one, the way she translated the foreground figures into the fountain... it's so awesome you can see all the shapes in the final piece and at the same time the new lineart is so intricate

Karina having a Julia moment and doing a whole different scene was amazing
This episode is so indulgently self-referential and I am completely here for it.
Karina's drawing is absolutely stunning what the hell..
You know it’s a good ep when everyone is laughing less than 2 minutes in to the first drawing
Hi
This episode is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Every single drawing is a BANGER
Everyone did such great work on this episode. Julia's is so beautiful and painterly, Karina's idea with reworking the composition is so fascinating and creative, Nathan's take with the Drawfee character poll battle is inspired and just awesome work pulling everyone's different characters together, and Jacob's drawing might be one of my favorite things this show has ever produced because it's just so funny and close to home.
Nathan’s speed draws are always such a blast to see come together.
I LOOOVE seeing people’s interpretations of the same prompt, and I love even more what a spread we got from this episode. Karina demonstrating how Art Smart she is and turning this painting into a beautiful fountain… I had to remind myself she’s also the person who found The Grinch x The Oncler in upside-side down Donald Duck once. Her power is simply too much.
im a new drawfee fan can you tell me which episode is it?
@@lunadeangelis ua-cam.com/video/j08lUF4813k/v-deo.html
Karina starts Donald around 1:15.
@@rachelwahlig8756 thanks!
@@lunadeangelis Welcome to the gang! I hope you enjoy it here!
this might be a new favorite episode for me!! lots of inside jokes and running gags, with genuinely fun, interesting, and UNIQUE takes from everyone on this classic painting. I loved it!
Jacob, my glee at realizing you were drawing the producers was *immense.*
Edit: oh my god, when you drew Nathan I lost it
Nathan's is like... the pinnacle of the "recreate a famous image with characters from another IP" thing that drives so many fly-by-night merch stores, I love it so much. And yes, I would absolutely buy a poster of "Schmidt and Nando in Hell" if you can clear it with legal.
Holy shit, I'm amazed that this is the first time Karina's drawn a duck. Love the radical reinterpretation!
As soon as Julia said "I think I did what the fans wanted me to do" I started chanting "ROOM! FULL! OF! VAMPIRES!" and I'm so glad she didn't disappoint. And my favorite part of a Julia speed draw is always when the lines go from red to black and suddenly the colors all look incredible and this one was no different.
This video really encapsulates Drawfee's range of ridiculousness and genuine art. There's a little something for everyone. It really makes you feel like Drawfee.
Every single speed draw was absolutely massive brain on this one in a different way, and I am OBSESSED. THE CATS! The KERMIT!!!! THE RECOMPOSITION! THE ROOM FULL OF BEAUTIFULLY PAINTED VAMPIRES!!!!!!
Genuinely a masterclass in doing a classical painting study, reinterpreting things into your own style, and a variety of rendering styles!
I learn so much from you guys, and this episode feels supercharged with ART! (and still fun!)
I want these drawings as posters so bad. Everyone popped off in their own way! I think this is one of my new favorites
I agree theyre so funny (hello fellow kermit)
Agreed, each person's drawing is like my new favorite drawing by them. I want this as a 4-piece set of magnets or prints or something because this whole collection is so good
@@coyote_yoshi exactly!! I want drawfee magnets so bad - my fridge is READY
@@Glあss hello m’kermit
everyone nailed this one! Jacob's was adorable, Nathan's was funny, Karina's was amazing that lineart *chefs kiss*, and Julia's.. amazing just wow. LIKE WOW. Everyone did great! Love y'all
Karina really said “is this a shape challenge? It is now.”
The joy that drawfee got from this prompt was what really made this episode one of my favorites
But what about the Olive that Drawfee got from this prompt?
I still can't believe "you're just drawing Schmidt" turned into such a legendary character
This hit me just right. I was internally screaming HECK YEAH through the episode at every new turn. This was an amazing ep idea, please do it again!
Here's a brief list of things that I found especially delightful:
Jacob: The Producers were super cute and I loved seeing Jacob's process of simplifying their forms.
The way Sonic is posed in Nathan's is just.........absolutely perfect
karina’s evil laughter throughout her whole segment brought me such unhindered joy. love her.
Karina really popped off with this one, the way she translated the foreground figures into the fountain... it's so awesome you can see all the shapes in the final piece and at the same time the new lineart is so intricate
Obsessed with all of the takes here. The painting was already unhinged and I love how much more Drawfee was able to push it 💖
the progression of jacobs speedpaint reminds me of their fanart ep where he did the cartoon scrapbook of a souls game. like there's something so Right about him landing on making squart characters in cute n funny situation with solid ass line art.
just saw the finished piece. it's so good jacob i love it so much
frustrated jacob comes up with the most fun ideas
3:44 “My favourite part of this painting is this gay couple” Dante WISHES he was in a relationship w Virgil, the divine comedies was dante’s fanfic where he meets his idol, hearing this would make him weep with joy
Karina blew my mind with the sheer amount of creativity, technical knowledge, and skill she leveraged in this one.
Not even done with the video yet, but Jacob's drawing is a true gift to us all.
Opening this episode with Jacob's drawing was a very good choice. I loved it.
Julia really knew what we wanted. Those drawings were all so good 🥰
I really appreciate drawfee for stuff like Jacobs "some days are for trying something new and some are for having fun" - I used to have a very disordered relationship to art. Drawfee has really helped me kick back and actually enjoy what I'm doing more often rather than grinding it constantly
Honestly.... $15 tier JUST for that poster is still a super reasonable steal of a price. Honestly though, they all killed it. This episode was amazing and they all really showed their inner mental workings with their process. I appreciate speed draws because it really gives them a chance to flex and show off how skilled they all are as artists.
And they are SO SKILLED
KARINA!!!! The way you mapped out the shapes and foreground/middle/background to determine your subject was just fascinating and I love that method!!
Suggestion: I know it's probably too late for a Halloween suggestion, but I really want to see you guys draw Monument Mythos, or even other ARGs.
I just feel like Julia would excel at drawing horrible, terrifying monuments, and everyone else would laugh their asses off at the crazy lore, that features Richard Nixon on the moon, giant floating corpse heads having fun in the Grand Canyon and long George Washington.
That'd be so rad! A Julia drawing of the Horned Serpent or maybe even Freedom would instantly be poster material
@@nobodyinpar Jacob:... It's also George Washington.
Julia: George Washington the president?
Jacob: It's literally George Washington, the guy.
Karina: The guy on the money?
Nathan: laughs It's just a long George Washington?!
Karina: He's just a lil' Lurker... who loves Liberty uwu
Jacob: He does not love Liberty, he loves human flesh and suffering.
Nathan: Just like the real life George Washington.
Karina: Julia... this is just a drawing of George Washington.
Julia: uses the Transform tool
Jacob: OH MY GOD!
Karina: The Special Tree was Julia all along.
Nathan: The most Special Tree of all...
Can't forget the Rockefeller paradox
can't forget President James Dean!
i think this is the best drawfee episode ever?? all the drawings are incredible and, as a fan for nearly 5 years, i feel so rewarded for all my dumb niche knowledge of drawfee lore
Jacob's piece went from stylistic reinterpretation to peak artistic masterpiece
The fact that multiple Nathans were harmed in the making of this video never stops being funny
Nathan's work left me absolutely mind blown. Wtf how can someone draw like that??
I loved all the drawings :D But Karina's pulled a lot of my heartstrings... the dark atmosphere, the tender mood, it's like looking at a very private tender moment. I love it!
Absolutely. It's so evocative and calming, and hot and chaste at the same time, such duality
Karina went into the mind palace on this one and kindly took us with her, thank you for the process girl!
This is one of my favourite drawfee episodes, I keep coming back to it. I LOVE Jacob's drawing, it's so good and funny. Please do this again one day
Jacob's drawing is so wholesome and wonderfully perfect.
