I love the panel where moonpaw just goes “Yes! :3” immediately after brutally dismembering a giant dragon, body parts strewn about. Its the same humor as Kirby and both are absolutely batsh*t insane. 🌽
I love Moonpaw standing there surrounded by the limbs of the dismembered dragon and just saying "Yes!" What an absolutely deranged creature, I love them
I'm imagining a reverse perspective comic with moonpaw, where a group of bandits come across moonpaw starring blankly into the distance not moving a muscle. The group decides to approach moonpaw and the bandit whose perspective we follow try's in vain to stop them before giving in to his instinct for self preservation and running to hide. Over his shoulder we see in the air above Moonpaw the reversed block text "THE BANDITS". Hiding behind a tree the terrified bandit listens as the carnage begins, he hears the screams of his fellow men, the destruction. And with the sound of a beam smash half of the tree is gone and a chunk of his shoulder with it, but he holds in his scream. Tears streaming from his eyes praying to what ever gods might listen. "Yes!" Silence. Peeking out from his spot he looks to see an area filled with the viscera of those who were once his companions. And standing silently amongst it all in a low t-pose is moonpaw. The bandit knew not how long he held his breath, but slowly and carefully he began to move. Eye's never leaving the still figure, this causes him to stumble over a severed limb. Startled he looks down for but a moment, when his gaze returns to the monster his blood runs cold. Moonpaws head is turned to face him, and block letters hang in the air above his head... "THE SURVIVOR"
You know, if Karina ends up doing a Moonpaw plushie as merch, that's such an amazing flex. It's the dream of so many kids to have their drawing become a plushie.

Jacob is also getting better at drawing fat characters! Which is nice. Most cartoonists can do lovely round blobby body shapes but the head and neck are skinny character shapes. Jacob actually got a nice soft line to the neck.
I 100% read Nathan's dinosaur picture as the two raptors to the right are sneaking up on the Brontosaurus, when the lightning and thunder go off and startle the one to the left who jumps up, alerting the Brontosaurus that they're there. "Nice one, Carl!" "Yeah, nice one, you jerk!"

love going from an episode where Julia can't remember how something looks in any way to her sculpting a hyper-realistic Gundam, just absolute Julia Magic
this video really does show how compelnentary their skills as artists are, like its a really wide spread of cool stuff to appreciate. i gotta say tho nathans drawing gave me some lightbulb moments for drawing organic forms in dynamic poses i didnt have before finishing this video. cranked out a couple dinosaurs after just to see and they are miles better than before.
i love these eps because you can see the foundations of each of their unique preoccupations/styles of art and then you get to see how they've built on those initial styles with all the skills they've learned and how far they've come and it's so cute!!!!!
I don't usually leave comments on videos but I felt like I had to say that I appreciated hearing about how Julia used to draw as a kid. I used to do the same thing of drawing directly from a reference with x men comics and my golden sun 2 players guide. For me though I started to feel discouraged because I was "just copying" and eventually stopped drawing. I've always enjoyed Julia's art style in these videos so it felt nice to hear her talk about a similar situation and how it didn't stop her from doing art.
In Tuesday's video I commented how we hadn't had a speeddraw in a while and was really in the mood for one. This is the closest I'll ever get to Drawfee picking a suggestion of mine. I'll take it. I'll _bask_ in this moment.
I definitely thought this was gonna be "one of those episodes" where Julia just draws a WHOLE FUCKING GUNDAM FRON SCRATCH... but then she didn't! Yes Queen! Love yourself!!!!
I love how you can see hints of everyone's art styles in the old art, and it's so interesting to compare what choices they each make in the remakes These are all bangers!
I had to laugh out loud at Karina's sudden added violence to piece! XD But it honestly also gives a lot more interest in Moonpaw. Just this adorable lil-cat creature that can horribly kill you!
OK, theory: LBRF is not an acronym. The LB is pound again and the RF is a reference to Jet Set Radio Future, which totally had a logo that looked like JSRF.
Just finished Nathan's drawing - and I have to say, that whole segment, both the drawing of dinosaurs, and the joy in drawing dinosaurs, made me very happy. :)
Moonpaws dead eyed stare, my god… Great work on this one. I’m absorbing Nathan’s rain and lighting tricks and Jacob’s posing and stylizing from this episode. And Julia’s art is insane as per usual.
The crushing relief when they all four were here in the intro today. I thought we might miss some iconic baby!drawf lore. I remain wildly impressed with all their teeny tiny skill sets that have matured into equally awesome grown up skill sets.
"I'll always find more moonpaw comics to milk" -- yes please, give us MOAR MOONPAW! be it redraws of the original comics, or new ones, or: challenge/episode idea, everyone drawing moonpaw in a different style
There was a good decade where I could recite every word of the English Dub of Endless Waltz and watching Julia's speed draw unlocked a core childhood memory of learning how to mimic some of the voice actors for my after school weep LARPing sessions.
big fan of this kinda stuff, its really cool to hear your guys' thought process on all stages of the piece and how you guys feel about eachothers pieces as well
I thought the raptor jumping in baby Nathan's drawing was like, gracefully ascending. And my headcanon was that it's being raptured and the sauropod's like "oh fuck Christ is upon us"
I just started watching Drawfee - the first one I watched was the first one with Moonpaw, who i absolutely loved, so imagine my delight at seeing this one posted too!!! I love all of these, they're incredible, and if I was american i'd vote for you guys for president.
I like to think Moonpaw, when he does the CMB attack, Dark Side of the Moonpaw takes over and does massive damage on behalf of regular Moonpaw-who wouldn’t consider using excessive power, but is glad he can defeat a strong creature. Because the light in those eyes faded briefly. Awesome episode, it’s cool seeing how far people grow as their art gained more skills over the years.
Banger Episode! Nathan - Dinosaurs! Jacob - Cool character design! Karina - Fan Service! (Moonpaw!❤) Julia - Gundam! Kid-Nathan's drawings had very high levels of enthusiasm and excitement for Dinosaurs and Adult-Nathan's Drawing not only matched that but also had technical skill, composition, feeling of depth and atmosphere to the same very high levels as well. Kid-Julia's Gundam drawing was just so amazing and Adult-Julia's drawing excelled even more.

love going from an episode where Julia can't remember how something looks in any way to her sculpting a hyper-realistic Gundam, just absolute Julia Magic
Moonpaw absolutely obliterating a dragon like piccolo obliterated Raditz is so incredible.
this video really does show how compelnentary their skills as artists are, like its a really wide spread of cool stuff to appreciate. i gotta say tho nathans drawing gave me some lightbulb moments for drawing organic forms in dynamic poses i didnt have before finishing this video. cranked out a couple dinosaurs after just to see and they are miles better than before.
I love these so much! Nathan with his dinos, Jacob and a character, Karina's moonpaw comic and Julia going absolutely nuts
i love these eps because you can see the foundations of each of their unique preoccupations/styles of art and then you get to see how they've built on those initial styles with all the skills they've learned and how far they've come and it's so cute!!!!!
Dinosaur lies! Character design! MOONPAW!!! Julia drew insane Gundam art as a child and continues to draw insane art now! 😂❤
Shoulda been on Patreon
@@phlipclip5097 I r a poor
I read that comment on Tuesday, and remembered it as soon as I saw that this was a speed draw. You are Internet Famous in my old person brain.
@@lindafreeman7030 oh man I don't know if I can cope with fame; I'll do my best
Jacob: you have ibs and I love you!
How extremely cute, hope everyone finds love as pure and cute as this
I definitely thought this was gonna be "one of those episodes" where Julia just draws a WHOLE FUCKING GUNDAM FRON SCRATCH... but then she didn't! Yes Queen! Love yourself!!!!
I love how you can see hints of everyone's art styles in the old art, and it's so interesting to compare what choices they each make in the remakes
These are all bangers!
I had to laugh out loud at Karina's sudden added violence to piece! XD
But it honestly also gives a lot more interest in Moonpaw. Just this adorable lil-cat creature that can horribly kill you!
I love everyone just collectively losing it as they realize the sheer carnage Moonpaw is wreaking at the exact same time
OK, theory: LBRF is not an acronym. The LB is pound again and the RF is a reference to Jet Set Radio Future, which totally had a logo that looked like JSRF.
I liked this video because of the 'Here comes the rain again' joke. Thanks Julia.
Just finished Nathan's drawing - and I have to say, that whole segment, both the drawing of dinosaurs, and the joy in drawing dinosaurs, made me very happy. :)
Moonpaws dead eyed stare, my god…
Great work on this one.
Drawfee Speed Draw days and literally the best days of my life and im not kidding or exaggerating at all.
And my headcanon was that it's being raptured and the sauropod's like "oh fuck Christ is upon us"
Based off license plate logic, imma say the sunglasses say “pound ref”. Like a person of authority for heavy things
the first of this series of videos got me really into drawing proper and im forever greatful love your channel guys
The longer I look at Julia's final piece the more the embers and fire got bright and I love that so much
I just started watching Drawfee - the first one I watched was the first one with Moonpaw, who i absolutely loved, so imagine my delight at seeing this one posted too!!!
I love the speedpaints so much!! And with a bonus of getting to see the redux of old art? Truly the best of both. Thank you!
So bold of Nathan to bust out a rap verse mid ep
i drew in the exact same way as julia, same hat! gunpla and mech as well as magazine people , so fun to have similarities with such a fun artist
I may be getting emotional at the gifts you all gave to your child selves
Julia drawing on graph paper as a kid gives me life. It's so wholesome. Kid artist drawing on less than ideal media and loving it. It's so wholesome
I see Darwfee thumbnails, and I cry. I cry tears of joy. Drawfee is my life
Banger Episode!
Nathan - Dinosaurs!
Jacob - Cool character design!
Karina - Fan Service! (Moonpaw!❤)
Julia - Gundam!
