Awesome vid! Not too unsurprising really. Gaining on the corners, losing on the straights. Let's be honest, despite the BS marketing, McLaren LTs are not THAT track focused. Else wings be much bigger etc. They rely on outstanding basics (lightweight, stiff, low centre of gravity) to be able to track as well as they do. At the end of the day they still need to be balanced with being enjoyed on the road too much (hell they make spiders, you'd never see that format in a Porsche GT). If they actually threw away the compromise book and was focused on track, it'd result in a very different package. Ala...the Senna. Which is really the true RS so to speak. Not the LT which is more the regular GT3.
@@Sidewinder5 I don't think McLaren do Ring times anymore ever since they tried to explain that the P1 didn't have a big enough battery to help run the car at full power for a whole lap and the press laughed at them whilst proclaiming the 918 "faster" McLaren's response was never to run ring times again EVER, hence why the Senna was never clocked. @@Sidewinder5 I don't recall anything about "randy" what I do recall was everyone falling over themselves to know which of the 'holly trinity" was fastest around the ring, The P1's time was narrowly beaten by the 918 to which McLaren responded with telemetry showing just how far ahead the P1 was In time until it lost Hybrid assistance for more than a third of the lap. The fact you stayed that close says a lot about your skill!
Awesome drive as always. You guys always have the best battles.
it’s insane how much faster you can put the gt3 in corners respect to that 765
The 765LT driver is 69 almighty!! Very skilled and talented driver known in the car community.
Sorry but didn't look to be that great on the day. Maybe had a passenger , but even if so, doesn't explain the far from perfect lines.

Hi which in your opinion has better track performance , 991.2 gt3 rs or 992 gt3
Trailing hard into those corners is so much fun 👍
Another cool vid specially seeing a senna on track was neat
That mid corner exit speed of the 765LT is bonkers.
With 300hp more why would it be a surprise?
Great driving!
As I understand it the McLaren’s don’t have room for much width on the front tires, like only 235 or 245, thus having less corner grip.
That's McLaren problem, not Porsche..

You caught him in the corners then his superior HP allowed him to open the gap. Clearly in a more technical track you would be the victor
this track is very technical
@@bjvink0130doesn’t matter when a car has 300 more hp sadly

Great drivng because the 765 is way faster track or road.
What's the 765lt time on the Nurburgring???

@sugarsaint The 3rs runs close to the senna on some tracks, so stating about "crushing" is just a theory.
@sugarsaint Also Remember that Randy used the 918 spyder and beat the p1 time. So until it's put to the test, it's just an assumption!

Put the same driver in the 765 and he will drive like a formula 1
Same power, gt3 is faster
