Honestly it depends. When cylinder engines were first being used they weren't reliable either. The Prius is HELLA reliable but not everyone is as good as Toyota. Y'all just trynna find reasons to hate on hybrids. It's the future and will be reliable whether u like it or not 🤷♂️
I don't know if I'm the only one that feels that way, but the brake tests are always more interesting to me cause if a car has a lot of power but no brakes you're less likey to use that power unless you know you have enough room to stop. So it basically shows which cars can make use of their power in daily use.
I like the idea of the test. but the execution does not make sense to me. the three drivers will never start breaking at the same exact time going 100mph over a line. same with the drag race, where Mat and Yianni both like to guess the start and therefore often jump it. they can keep showing the drag races and break tests for the entertainment purpose. but why not compare the actual acceleration times and break distances of the Racebox already mounted in the car?

The ferrari is 100% making 900hp, you should see it racing against sf90. Ferrari took a page out of Mclarens book with the lying about hp figures. i still think the Mclaren is the standout performer here, just like the 720s use to be. heavily aero'd and short geared and its still a bullet train.
You must do this race again when the Ferrari is sorted. It was truly amazing to see it competing with the 765 and winning. I'm sure once it's sorted it might be a even bigger win for the Ferrari

You’re right I actually forgot it was “just” V6. Technical achievement unlocked
LoL v6 is the best engine for modified just look gtr r35 it's v6
I don't know if I'm the only one that feels that way, but the brake tests are always more interesting to me cause if a car has a lot of power but no brakes you're less likey to use that power unless you know you have enough room to stop. So it basically shows which cars can make use of their power in daily use.
Except nobody is using anywhere near their power capacity on a daily basis.
@@jhnns_wndlng Exactly. That test is quite literally pointless. Even braking .2 seconds later makes a massive difference from 100mph.
@@jhnns_wndlngyeah Carwow is entertaining, but not really useful data. No mention of tires, very rarely do they rerun anything in different lanes etc.
@@jhnns_wndlngExactly. That’s what I’ve been saying for years, but it looks like only a few can see this. And there are even people demanding tests like these on other channels. I simply don’t get it.

Yiannis reaction o the first 50mph pull was epic. I could almost see him falling in love with that 765LT as he drove it.🤣
The LT is very impressive in my opinion, less power than the Ferrari which has an additional hybrid train which gives it a better launch in regards to acceleration yet they're almost neck to neck, that's impressive
But the 296 gtb has only a 3.0 V6 twin turbo.
Actually not....the 765LT dyno's at over 850hp with many calling it the 865LT as a running joke....couple that with being well over 300kg's lighter with active aero then it changes the complexion a bit😉
Not less power 765lt has like 820-850hp on a dyno
after launch the two were similar, so Ferrari extra spec sheet 65 horsepower offset 300kgs of extra weight it carries. Id say if the mc makes more power then so does the Ferrari.
The ferrari is 100% making 900hp, you should see it racing against sf90. Ferrari took a page out of Mclarens book with the lying about hp figures. i still think the Mclaren is the standout performer here, just like the 720s use to be. heavily aero'd and short geared and its still a bullet train.
Fun fact Ferrari just have won the 24 Le Mans race
