How can you tell that is reliable already in a new model and more reliable on top of it, reliability is determined with time and mileage and percentage
Yes sir, it had me guessing for a few days also. Ran across the answer on a fb group then paid attention when I was getting out and sure enough . It was me 😆
I had a Titan XD Cummins. Bad ass but the emissions garbage was a constant headache. It came time to delete it or trade it in and I traded it in. Leaving the Frontier with proven, durable and reliable drivetrain makes them more appealing than most domestic competition.
TY for the review. Honestly, for 20+ years, my cars / trucks have had compasses. I've never really used them for anything, especially now with GPS driven mapping. So maybe Nissan did the right thing after all and simplified.
Same here. 03 chevy 2500 was the first vehicle I had with a digital compass in it. I do know the pro x package has one along with on screen navigation. Just not an option in this truck. Have to use the ol reliable cellphone 😅
I had a 2003 Nissan frontier supercharged 4x4 long bed crew cab. That was the most underpowered small truck I had ever driven in my life at the time. I'm so glad Nissan has redone the frontier with a stronger base engine that's more reliable❤
Compass is there if you have navigation. Its on the nav page on your gauge cluster. If you don't have nav and the bigger radio (fender audio) it appears you don't get it.
Beautiful truck id suggest having it ceramic coated professionally by a detailer if you dont realize why yet talk to some people that have black vehicals trust me you really want to protect that black paint
If you feel like the cruise control is harsh at that it wants to rev up to speed so abruptly instead of gradually, there is a TSB out at the dealer to fix that issue.
@@jaymeparker27 that's good, I think they fixed it with the mid production 2023 models, the early 2023s and all the 22s were having high revving (basically flooring the gas) issues when getting up to speed while in cruise control. It was really bad but they have a software fix for it now.
I believe that is correct. I knew it was a issue at one time. Not the case with mine though. I do live in mostly flat Louisiana also so I'm rarely on any change of elevation more than a slight hill.
@@jaymeparker27 oh nice then you're good to go, enjoy your truck, it's beautiful. One thing I recommend for your screen is a screen protector. They screen on my truck was starting to scratch fairly easily. Now I'm protected
I know I’m a little late with this but I also cross up to 22 which was scarce at the time and ended up going ridgeline, but only kept it for a year so I guess my question is did you look at the versatility on the Ridgeline 5.4 inch bed, the trunk the swing gatewhatever it is fit in the 4 x 8 plywood in there or sheet rock
@@jaymeparker27 yup. I have seen that on the Nissan website. I was wondering about your specific truck given its options. How much do the options eat into the payload of 1,480 lbs? What does your yellow stick on the driver side door jam say for your specific payload? Thanks!
Only load numbers on the yellow sticker is for occupants and cargo. " should not exceed 1300lbs " the only info I can find in owners manual and online say the same thing for this specific truck. Crew cab short bed payload, 1480. Max tow 6560
@@jaymeparker27 payload, CCC (cargo carrying capacity), and “occupants/cargo” are the same thing. Your specific truck has 1300 pounds of “payload” or CCC given its specific options. I don’t need the off-road capability of Pro4X and value more payload for hauling camping gear when towing our small 2900 lb camper (loaded). Thanks for the update.
I always wondered why my seat would be slightly reclined when I get back into the truck haha thought I was going crazy.. I must have been hitting the recline switch by accident
Congrats on the really sweet truck! I want one now too, lol! What are your thoughts on the bed length? Is getting the 6 foot bed worth the extra money?
Thank you. Coming from a full size with a 6 foot bed I do miss the length. I'm just not a fan of long bed trucks. The look throws it off for me. Just my opinion. But if you need the room, and use your truck bed . the 6 foot opinion definitely serves that purpose .
Yes it comes with the front plate bracket. The dealership might install it in your state. Louisiana doesn't require a front plate. Mine was just laying in the back seat. It's hanging in my garage now 😄
I figured LA didn't need it. Hopefully the dealership will do it because I don't see anything there. TX requires a front and it sucks cuz it looks so much better without.@@jaymeparker27
Love your truck and great job on getting the midnight package, the upgraded lighting definitely spiffs up the look of the truck, only thing I would question since I like to off-road my vehicle is those side steps, seems like they might hang a bit too low for some off-road situations but nothing a small lift can’t fix…..
Thank you! Yes the side steps are low. I don't spend much time off road so it's not an issue for me. They do un bolt from the side rail. you are able to keep the rails almost like rock sliders without the steps.
