But in certain cases like this one where the paint is flaking off I feel like it's necessary so that it doesn't get carried away! And in my opinion if you're going to clear coat a classic vehicle It has to be satin, not a shiny clear over patina fan!
Oh, just my worthless.02 cents. I would look for some older OEM 17 x 8 inch Mustang Crager style cast wheels. I *believe* they made them in two different offsets 45 and 35et.
