Attended a 50-year wedding anniversary for Mr and Mrs Chequer who now reside in North Carolina. I was there celebrating their 50 years of marriage exactly one week before that place burned down in Tonawanda there by the Erie canal and I was heartbroken it was like a gift from God being able to see it while it was still up I wish it didn't burn down I now have a daughter who's five and she'll never know the elks Lodge like I did growing up
Sad to watch this even so many years later.
Elks don’t care about its history!
