    Thanks for the helpful video. Something i noticed, is that once you bake the file, there are still vertical fins seen in the areas where you have created the dents/openings. how do you get the openings to only show the bent fins that follow the curve and not the vertical fins to?

    hello! great video :)
    I was just wondering, if I have already made a chair in rhino, and I want to apply this grasshopper pattern to it, how do you suppose I do that? Is there a button for polysurface instead of regular surface?
    thank you :)

      If you had an enclosed surface, you can simply select it and apply the algorithm to it.

      I have a polysurface of a chair. I dont think its enclosed. Is there a way for me to add the pattern to it? its just a simple polysurface in rhino.

    • @architutors

      you can export that rhino file in dwg format or in skp format. Thanks for watching !

      @@architutors and then lay them down side by side in ordner to get them on the CNC machine? or is there a faster/easier way?

    What do I do if I'm having trouble separating the plane from the geometry?

    • @architutors
      @architutors  3 роки тому

      From the rendered viewport when you select you can access the 'selection menu' and then choose the geometry you want to select. You can do the same from wireframe viewport. Also make sure to bake the final geometry from grasshopper into a group, that way it'll be easier to make selections.

      @@architutors thank you for your response. I was able to follow your tutorial perfectly. I have another question though, Could you tell me how to add length and height parameters to this wall using a number sliders?

    • @architutors
      @architutors  3 роки тому +1

      @@jessicagansi4553 You can change the dimensions of the plane in rhino, or you can also set up the plane surface in grasshopper at the beginning and set x and y parameters.
