This is amazing. It’s incredible that they’ve made these compatible and seamless. It’s so nice of you to have made this, but just seems completely out of my reach. I don’t know how people learn this stuff. I could never hope to understand grasshopper
@@teknelearn3076 How to build a grasshopper mindset. Designers have some ideas. Ideas are like forms in designers mind. When they want to use grasshopper, they need to think about components. This is the start of issue. Changing Revit/SketchUp mindset to Grasshopper mindset.
@@ssketchup72 This is a great question / topic! I'm glad you mentioned it. I just gave a webinar on Developing a Computational Mindset with Grasshopper - I will be releasing the video publicly on UA-cam on Friday... but here is the private link if you want to watch before then! 😉 ua-cam.com/video/8nrrdHJ2qDc/v-deo.html
Finch is too far from being able to replace the complexities of design, and as these tools improve the market will adapt to that so YES please learn grasshopper and revit to become competent in this industry
That is beautiful! thank you for the video, jak :) I've only recently started using rhino.inside, and i'm wondering what your thoughts are on how effective it is for conventional architectural planning, especially when utilizing this tool in an architectural firm?
They are just tools at the end of the day so can extend and enhance what we already do as designers in lots of ways. In my mind the utility for conventional architectural planning is just as high as is for more complex architecture: its largely the same workflow and understandings just applied in different ways / context. Precise controlling of grids for instance is important no matter what you are designing! Are you using Grasshopper and Rhino inside Revit?
@@teknelearn3076 Great answer, I'm also just using it since I started working at a firm. Im quite proficient in grasshopper and I can tell how this can help aid mundane/simple/complex and even conceptual workflows. It's an amazing time to be alive...
😮 THIS IS CRAZY!!!
JAK, I NEVER THOUGHT THIS INTEGRATION GAVE SO MUCH CONTROL & FREEDOM TO GRASSHOPPER
GREAT video walk thru Jak! This is one of the best demonstrations of RIR I've seen on youtube. Sharing with my office now!
Thanks Craig!!
Things are so scarce on this topic, thanks for a great demo
Glad you enjoyed it Ranjit! Are there other topics you would like to see covered?
An amazing video. A real beneficial use case perfectly demonstrating the power of tools and analytical thinking. Thanks.
Thanks Abdelatif!! Are you using RIR too?

where can I find the component you used to block the data?
Thank you very much. Amazing and informative.🌹
Thanks a lot! Anything else you'd like to see a video on?

Is it still relevant to learn grasshopper and rhino and revit. As AI tools like finch AI are being developed

Can we use same model to do analysis in etabs or tekla...
Yes there are some additional plugins / workflows for this kind of thing, definitely more advanced though!
Wowwww
Glad you liked the video! Are you using this plugin?
@@teknelearn3076 yeah most certainly

What did you think of the video? :) Are you using Revit and Grasshopper too then?
I've watched this video twice and i am still not satisfied...
