how could I map a gradient or a texture to the entire surface, then subdivide, instead of repeating it in the subdivisions?
that's cool, i wonder how one would do the same with points/ curves instead. Ones you get from rhino as opposed to grasshopper

Looks like you need plugin. I still don't know about it. Screen recording seems practical

I didn't bake it to rhino. I just use preview
