I really enjoy your videos. You're right, this is an amazing song. Fun facts: this was one of the first songs Led Zeppelin ever recorded in the studio for their first record, they did this only 8 weeks after they got together as a band, right after they finished their first tour of Scandinavia and England! This is an old folk song, originally written by Anne Bredon; Zeppelin wanted to do this song after they heard Joan Baez singing it on one of her records. However, they wanted to keep the folk arrangement and make the song heavy in between verses to show their talent and playing around with the song, improvising with the dynamics, displaying the light and heavy aspects of their music. It always amazes me that they had their concept, their music, their sound this fully developed after only having been together for a few weeks! You can never go wrong with Zeppelin! If you like this, here is what I suggest/request, you might even like "How Many More Times"--especially any live recording of Led Zeppelin playing this song! God bless you!
