I saw Led Zeppelin back in 1977. It was a great summer for music that year. Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. But the entire experience of the Zeppelin concert was something that I'll never forget.
When I saw these guys in 1970, I think it was, they had just come out with their first album. They weren't very well known yet and only about 500 people were in the hall when the concert started. This was in Cleveland. I sat in the front row because you could sit wherever you wanted to. They started out with "Communications Breakdown" and the volume and power of those giant speakers blew me back in my chair. By the end of the concert everybody was up and dancing frantically to every song they played. Whew! What a night. Never forget that.
Don't worry about not knowing cord progression. Just enjoy it 😊 I was a old school rap fan as a kid. Heard this and "Pink Floyd" when I was 12, riding in the car with my dad. It blew my mind... I looked at my dad and asked/pondered "so... People can make music like this?" Even more mind-blowing the lack of technology they had to create this music. Just.... Talent. I recommend "since I've been loving you" by Zeppelin. Honestly, you should just go through the first 5 albums. 70% of the songs on each album are classics.
Since I’ve Been Loving You. (A must!) Rain Song. (Robert Plant’s fav) And if you’re feeling a little heavier blues... You Shook Me. Wanna rock? Heartbreaker. Wanna rock more? ANYTHING else by Zep! Cheers!
Can't argue with those recommendations at all, great choices :) Looking forward to the You Shook Me (Live) and Since I've Been Loving You reactions, I'd also add Dazed and Confused (studio version) and When the Levee Breaks to the list
Listen to the song "Ten Years Gone" by Led Zeppelin. It's a great song along the lines of "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" and "Stairway to Heaven". Lot's of great guitar and of course great vocals by Robert Plant.
Over 50 years later, and Robert's voice still has the same effect on the ladies. The look in your eyes listening to this was priceless. Great reaction.
2003,DVD, watch it, I saw Madison Square garden 73 back to back nights, 75, same venue, 2x the band that launched a 1000,careers, GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME, RIP BONZO
Please do live...In My Time Of Dying...Since I've Been Loving You...The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song...Achillies Last Stand...Dazed And Confused...Whole Lotta Love...No Quarter...you will love them all! All are live and OMG fantastic!!
Rick Six I was fortunate enough to see Page and Plant during their Walking into Clarksdale tour. Bonham passed when I was 3. It was still an amazing experience
I play Guitar and work in Music. Love seeing your reactions to my generations Music. Saw Led Zeppelin many times front row, my fav band. This was the album version. I recommend all of Led Zep 1,2,3,4 & Houses of the Holy. I`d like to see your reaction to "Since I’ve Been Loving You" "Tangerine" "That`s The Way" and "Going To California"... Cheers...
Your reactions are so honest and genuine! So great to see the joy in your eyes when you hear this music! It's all new to you, enjoy it! Keep exploring Zeppelin....they have some mind blowing music. Listen to Zeppelin 3. See how cool it is the way the song Friends slides right into Celebration Day...you gotta listen to it loud...try Out on The Tiles also on that record....let me know...you'll like it, I'm pretty sure...! 😊
Glad to see that you can get a glimpse of why my generation idolized some of these bands. Especially Led Zeppelin. This music was in its infancy and just beginning to "take over the world!" You have a long life ahead of you to learn to appreciate many types of music, especially since it is now so accessible. In my day, if you didn't have the album, or friends that had it, you are at the mercy of whatever the radio played. They ONLY EVER play the hits. Usually one, at the most two, songs from each album. Then they would wear it out until you couldn't stand it! Then, on to the next hit. I really envy your position and the feedback you get from your website. There is so much amazing music out there that has fallen into disuse. PS you're insane blonde hair is insane! Never seen that color! ; P
Led Zeppelin is the best rock band in the world. If you disagree, I will fight you! When they released their last studio album, In Through The Out Door, in 1980... not only did it scale the charts. But it pulled ALL of their previous albums back up the charts with it. Many in the record industry credited that album for reviving what was a severely stalling record industry, at the time. Led Zeppelin still move a lot of product on an annual basis. Their one night only reunion at the O2 Arena in 2007... held 18,000.... the tickets were distributed in a lottery style. 20Million people, from all over the world, applied for tickets. Their remastered rereleased albums still hit the charts upon release. Nobody has the staying power that they do. That's what happens when you build music to last forever.
Oh, the Danmarks Radio of this song, wicked cool! Love how entranced you are. Been a fan of Led Zep since I was about 12-13, glad to see you react to this, not many do. The Led Zep song I think of as quintessential example is "In My Time of Dying". Long song, but worth it IMO.
I don't want you to hate me but I got to see Zep in concert and yes that does mean i'm getting old. Every song every album is great. It is good to see that you really liked them, some young people have to act like they are to cool for the old stuff.
Robert plant is still recording/writing. He does a weekly podcast that is fantastic called “digging deep” and he plays soccer, his teamates simply call him “planty” if you ever see a bio show on him you’ll see what an incredible life he has/is living. One of those guys who starts talking and you just shut up and listen. Fascinating.
You'll also want to see The Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin. There is one that's 22min. and covers several songs and ending with HEART doing an amazing Stairway To Heaven. My first time hearing this one. Thanks for sharing. Hi Joe. I'm 65 and was a fan from the first. I'm your fan now.
I.B. - I agree with what several people have said and that's listen to it through headphones, you do pick up on things that you could miss listening online. Also, If it is available, listen to Zeppelin from an album, not a CD or a digitally enhanced recording.
You get a totally different listening experience using head phones. The sound is much better and you can tell which direction the sound is coming from. 🤗😎 You don't need to know all about playing a guitar to know good music! Any Led Zeppelin song is wonderful! Can't go wrong with anything that they do! 🎧🎶
I love the way young people are thinking songs are brilliant that were created in the late 60's and 70's. I started seriously listening to music in the late 60's. I never knew at the time this would happen. Good luck to you gal from Jordy Jordy land.
And also do dazed and confused live from the movie song remains the same 1973 it's 28 minutes long u will be blown away one of his best work with the violen bow on his guitar 🎸
Listen to All of My Love from their album In Through the Out Door. It was written in honor of Robert Plant’s son, Karac, who had died while they were on tour in ‘77. It is an incredibly emotional song, you can actually hear the love and pain in Plant’s voice. Another great song, but in a totally different direction is Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. It is a great up beat song, that many miss as being a Zeppelin song. Hint, the song is not about a girl either, listen closely to find out who Plant is singing about. I agree with many on here, you MUST get headphones to listen to Led Zeppelin on. You will pick up so much more when you do. Jimmy Page did an amazing job laying down the tracks on their albums.
OK, you can feed me a straight diet of Led Zeppelin and The Warning and I will be happy....... I have personal story about this album.... So I am in my favorite record store in 1969 trying to decide what LP or LPs I am going to spend my hard earned after school job money on and as I am sorting through and bins and bins of Vinyl I see this stack of LPs of an album with the Hindenburg on it. This stack is about 4ft high and sitting on the floor and it's from a band I hand never heard of before, Led Zeppelin. I first I thought that the name was just a rip of the band "Iron Butterfly" and I paid it no mind. But as I sorted through the bins I noticed that everyone that came into the store was grabbing a copy of this LP. In the time I had been there the stack had dropped about 18". So I took a chance and bought the 1st Led Zeppelin album for $3.30 having never heard of the band let alond any track on the album. It turned out that the album had just dropped that day and the rush to the record store was based on the 1st airing of this LP on the progressive FM station and I was one of the first of my friends to get this LP. And to this day it is still one of my top 10 or 20 LPs of all time. It gets a regular spot in the rotation on my MP3 player... Not a bad track on the LP... Loved your reaction.
Great story! You're a little older than me, so I didn't discover Led Zeppelin until about 1975 when I was around age 14. Just as disco was becoming big, a fairly large group of kids at my school were completely flipping to rock and Zeppelin was leading the way. I remember 'The Song Remains the Same' movie came out around this time in movie theaters and was playing every week at midnight at my local theater to sold out crowds. I think I saw that movie about 20 times that year! Amazing times!!
@@InsaneBlondie You should listen from Led Zeppelin: The battle of evermore, all of my love,When the level breaks,bron-yr-aur,thank you, that's the way, dancing days,no quarter, your time is gonna come, ramble on,brown-y-aur stomp, immigrant song(this one you probably heard it,from Thor movie),kashmir(from Godzilla),dazed and confused, friends, gallows pole, tangerine, going to California, four stick, rock and roll, black dog, misty mountain, good times bad times, nobody's fault but mine, down by the seaside,in the evening, what is and what should never be,Achilles last stand, over the hills and far away, trampled under foot,in the light, thank you,...and sooo many more others(I let you discover!).You should listen also to;David Bowie,T-Rex(Marc Bolan),Rolling Stones,The Doors,The Velvet Underground and a lot of others..If you want,ask-me I'll be happy to give you songs titles..Let me know!..I probably wish to say; I would have your ears,to hear all those songs for the first time..but i will not say that!!..because..those songs, every time you listen to them..you heard something new that you haven't noticed before..That's the power of music.(sorry for my English,I usually speak French).
Rush started as a Zepplin inspired band, and if you like these sorts of ballads and story driven songs, they have plenty. They're not pretty boys, but they are musician's musicians. The voice only fits their songs... start with their Spirit of the Radio or Closer to the Heart. If you like stories... the Trees is a good start.
@@TylerLL2112 True... although for someone just starting with Rush, I'd recommend one of their prog rock showcase temples of talent, like the songs above or even Working Man..., but at the same time, I wouldn't send an initiate to go full bore straight into the mind trip of 2112...
People think that just because a band or someone is famous everyone's heard of them. I'm not surprised you haven't heard of Zep, even though they're on the same Island. A lot of things competing for people's attention today. Hell, I don't know half the singers of today, so it goes both ways. But Zep is probably one of the best bands of all time. I think they're third in recordings sold. Up there with Elvis and Michael Jackson. What's great about Zep is that they have a wide variety of great music. You'll like 'em
New subscriber here. Absolutely loving this misical journey of discovery you've currently undertaken! 💖 You're on the right track as you've already discovered a love for two of the absolute best bands ever to come out of England! Dare I say two of the best bands ever, bar none? I dare indeed! ☺ More Zeplin and Maiden please. 🙏 Loving the feeling of falling in love with this music all over again through new ears. After all that's the real beauty of reaction vids. 👌 Cheers from Texas! 😀👍
The only thing perfectly in sync about this live video and the studio recording is, not surprisingly, Bonzo's tapping of the symbol from 2:50 - 3:25. Just one of the many reasons he is considered the best rock drummer of all time.
I just simply love watching your reactions, it seems sincere. And yeah, Robert was quite the stud in those days. P.S. love your accent. Cheers to you, luv!
Looks like Insane Blondie has become Insane Brownie. At least with her current look one might be inclined to chat her up a bit. Blue-eyed brunettes are at a premium. In 1969 Zep released "Zep1" recorded at Olympic Studios in London.
I grew up with Led Zeppelin. If I could suggest not only "Kashmir" but also "What is and should never be". I think you'll really like those two. enjoy.
Led Zeppelin is the Band, try to react too to, T rex, Gran funk railroad, the who, The Allman brothers band, Doctor Fellgood. Your reactions are very nice, Merry Christmas.
Hi hon, loved your reaction to Singer Robert Plant when you called his singing sexy, wink wink... So with that from 1 girl to another you really need to react to "Since ive been loving you" by led zep, their best version is 1973 live at Madison Square garden... Robert went from a singer to Rock God in this performance, wink wink 🤤
Thanks for your beautiful and sincere reaction, and Merry Christmas. I have been jamming to Led Zeppelin for about 50 years now I am 60 and there still number 2 only to Pink Floyd all time favorite bands. I caught when you commented about how the pace of the music was up and down and got me thinking about other songs that have that kind of a change up, heavy and soft hard and mellow fast and slow. Then a song came to mind that, has several different change ups through out the song, and it by another band, that is in my top 25 favorite bands all time: The Sensational Alex Harvey Band - The Tale Of The Giant Stone Eater ua-cam.com/video/veqOTzYnvcM/v-deo.html I would love to see your reaction to this one and all the changes it goes through, keep in mind this is a tale, a story, it starts out narrated, then starts rock , and slows and well, hard to describe, you'll just have to click on it and check it out.
thank you so much! & Pink floyd is certainly another absolute great legendary band! Ill give it a go just theres so many requests lmao so u may wanna remind me :D
@@brianneil4426 it's tough to pick one over the other and yeah it does come down to the mood, and where your head is at any given moment. Like the other band I mentioned in my earlier comment, Alex Harvey, and others I could speak on.
🥀What happened here?🥀 We found a new Led Zeppelin groupie. 🧙♂️The Battle Of Evermore🧚♀️ You must listen to the 1971 studio version. Sorry I couldn't find a live version that represents this songs true magnificence. 🦋🥀
It's a Viking song, taken from a traditional song continued from folk by Baez. Zeppelin took it and made it their song in their intent, which is not "Im leaving you cuz Im gods gift to woman", but rather spoken in the tome of their time, which was they had to leave and get on the longboats because that was their culture and the way they were raised. He loves her, but he knows he must leave to die, in the summertime. Led Zeppelin are from another time. It's a song of Love.
Here's a little Led Zeppelin info to fast track you. The singer with the amazing voice is Robert Plant he also written many of the vocals and was 19/20 yrs old here. He has been ranked within top 3 rock singers, and is currently #1 frontman and his singing changed rock forever and many bands have used him as the model for future rock singers. He still performs as a solo artist. Lead guitar and highly intelligent and gifted guitarist Jimmy Page is ranked #3 and sometimes he holds the #2 spot, we all think he deserves #1 for what he did to put this group together and. He was the most sought after sessions guitarist in England starting at the age of 15ys old. He played with the yardbirds for 2yrs prior to forming Led Zep were so successful that they were never able to meet the demands of they're fame even with mass touring in America. John Bonham is the drummer who was a childhood friend of Robert's and were both recruited by Jimmy at the same time. When Jimmy first heard John play he knew he had to get him for Zep. John Bonzo Bonham was also barely 20 at the time. Johns powerful drumming changed drumming as we knew it. He can't be duplicated and Rolling stones magazine ranked his as #1 drummer of all time because of his signature rock drumming. My eyes are wateref with tears because the world lost him in 1980 from alcohol and vomiting it up in his sleep and is Zep fans were all in our teens when we heard of his passing and us along with the band miss him deeply. John Paul Jones was also a highly successful sessions artist at the same time as Jimmy and worked on many projects together and so John asked if he could Join the band as well. He is the #3 bass player in the world for his bass and for his keyboard abilities. He was probably the most musically educated member of the group and Zep wouldn't have the band they became without him. We love Jonesy. The band ended in 1980 when John Bonham died, because he was an equal part of the whole and no one could fill his shoes even to this day. I hope this gets you started on your Led Zeppelin Journey and hopefully Zep fans will fill in more info or add or correct my info.. enjoy and hopefully you saw my earlier message and let me or any Zep fans if you have any more questions 💜
You should review Stairway to Gilligan's Island by Roger and the Goosebumps. They did a parody of Stairway to Heaven. Robert Plant used to say he loved it.
Hi, Led Zepp & Deep Purple studio albums are great but if you really want to experience these incredible artists then you do need to hear some live tracks. I highly recommend from Deep Purple's Made In Japan - "Child In Time" and you will understand why Ian Gillan is among the greatest rock vocalists of all time.He can scream pitch perfect. Love to see a reaction to that....& Led Zeppelin's Live at Knebworth - "Kashmir" [on video] as well. - I was there. Robert Plant like Gillan is another among the greatest rock vocalists. Love the fact you are giving this music a chance. More power to you. Take care.
Just discovered your channel - love to see new generations discovering incredible music from my youth :) I know you're probably flooded with suggestions, but here's one since you mentioned liking bands that know how to "tone it down and then back up" - you should check out The Pixies, a seminal band from the late 80's that influenced much of the "alternative" wave of the 90's, like Nirvana - they were known for their LoudQuietLoud style (also the name of a documentary about them and their 2004 reunion - I think it's on Netflix). Here's a few song recommendations: Bone Machine, Where is My Mind, Debaser, U-Mass - ENJOY! :)
I saw Led Zeppelin back in 1977. It was a great summer for music that year. Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. But the entire experience of the Zeppelin concert was something that I'll never forget.

Since I've been loving you, studio version. Your welcome.
This is the studio version.
@@kurts605 I was just letting her know where to go next, and she did. All good.
Got to do Since I’ve been loving you live and No Quarter live too plz
Led Zepps most electric song How Many More Times check it out.
You will be a zepplin fan forever now .I've been a fan for 45 years. Keep on rockin, thanks insane Blondie
That's what music sounds like.
Agree!
Oo thank you!!!
RUSH fuck yeah!
Here Again is a decent more bluesy song off the first album.
@@TylerLL2112 True... although for someone just starting with Rush, I'd recommend one of their prog rock showcase temples of talent, like the songs above or even Working Man..., but at the same time, I wouldn't send an initiate to go full bore straight into the mind trip of 2112...
Hi from Manchester, your boyfriend has brilliant taste, stick with it, this is music from the Gods
Heyyy! Thank you he does indeed 😁
Since I've been loving you! Live in Madison square garden 1973! You won't be disappointed!
EXACTLY THANK YOU :D I was literally born in 2000, too LOL
Like the Beatles & Stones, I thought everyone in England were required to listen to Led Zep!
New subscriber here. Absolutely loving this misical journey of discovery you've currently undertaken! 💖
You're on the right track as you've already discovered a love for two of the absolute best bands ever to come out of England! Dare I say two of the best bands ever, bar none? I dare indeed! ☺
More Zeplin and Maiden please. 🙏
Loving the feeling of falling in love with this music all over again through new ears. After all that's the real beauty of reaction vids. 👌
Cheers from Texas! 😀👍
Headphones are a must with zepelin, try to get a decent pair and youl be amazed at all the extra things and extra depth you hear
understandable! :D
I love this song!
Me too!!!
You should give Ten Years Gone a listen as well! Same band of coarse
ah yes. Leo Zeppelin .. he was a great singer.
Leo Zeppelin and the Zepplinettes couldn't be beat.
I was a senior in High School when this album came out. 1969. Great rock music does not have an expiration date.
The only thing perfectly in sync about this live video and the studio recording is, not surprisingly, Bonzo's tapping of the symbol from 2:50 - 3:25. Just one of the many reasons he is considered the best rock drummer of all time.
Not the footage from the recording. The track is from their studio album, not sure about the video.
This is just lip syncing for a video, unfortunately even zeppelin did it.
I just simply love watching your reactions, it seems sincere. And yeah, Robert was quite the stud in those days. P.S. love your accent. Cheers to you, luv!
Probably my favorite Zeppelin song
Let’s get you smartened-up with some Irish rocking royalty. Thin Lizzy: “Jailbreak” with the late great Phil Lynott, Dublin’s own great son.
No!! "still in love with you" from Live and dangerous album!! Greez from Holland
Not enough Lizzy on't net in general. Respect you.
I think Irish (or Scottish), I think Garbage, the Cranberries, Sinead O'connor
@@markbakker9468 Live and Dangerous is one of my fave albums of all time. It's just top draw. Everybody just drunk enough to be genius.
mark bakker Their whole discography is full of unbelievable stuff.
I think you'll really like those two. enjoy.
Just found your channel, congratulations on discovering the greats of classic rock. Enjoy.
Rainbow/Man on silver mountain or Black Sabbath/heaven and hell
dazed and confused live led zeppelin is a must see
Led Zeppelin is the Band, try to react too to, T rex, Gran funk railroad, the who, The Allman brothers band, Doctor Fellgood. Your reactions are very nice, Merry Christmas.
Robert Plant is, of course, still very much around and now singing where the rest of us can probably reach!
No auto tune etc, just great musicians live.
Then a song came to mind that, has several different change ups through out the song, and it by another band, that is in my top 25 favorite bands all time:
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band - The Tale Of The Giant Stone Eater ua-cam.com/video/veqOTzYnvcM/v-deo.html I would love to see your reaction to this one and all the changes it goes through, keep in mind this is a tale, a story, it starts out narrated, then starts rock , and slows and well, hard to describe, you'll just have to click on it and check it out.
thank you so much! & Pink floyd is certainly another absolute great legendary band! Ill give it a go just theres so many requests lmao so u may wanna remind me :D
@@InsaneBlondie in the mean time I will throw some other stuff your way, great music that some forgot or never heard.
You sir , got great taste . But....i would rank Zepp over pink but it depends on what move you in . They both way ahead of the rest
@@brianneil4426 it's tough to pick one over the other and yeah it does come down to the mood, and where your head is at any given moment. Like the other band I mentioned in my earlier comment, Alex Harvey, and others I could speak on.
when the levee breaks! or ramble on
Listen to "In my Time of Dying". Find the live version
Awesome suggestion!
I still think Bob Dylan gets the message through in a more convincing way in that song.
I literally have it in my will to have that song played when I'm put 6 feet under. 😂
Good to see the youger generation listening to these masters of music.
Thank you for not interrupting too much!
enjoying the music of your grandfather? lol that's so cool! Shane from Vancouver island.
Led Zep always gets the big views no matterhow much it has been done .........SUGGESTION for a listen at least Slaughter - Fly To The Angles
Love that song!
Love this girl...
🥀What happened here?🥀
We found a new Led Zeppelin groupie.
🧙♂️The Battle Of Evermore🧚♀️
You must listen to the 1971 studio version. Sorry I couldn't find a live version that represents this songs true magnificence. 🦋🥀
This sounds like the studio version audio being played over the live video.
WOW. DAM. DAM. Thank you!!!!!!
I think I'm witnessing a Led Zeppelin fan in the making!
All good Blondie ,
PEACE 💀👽🎸🎶🎵🥀
I'm a Zep freak!!! 🎸
Thank you and you are indeed!
Check out “Have I” by Mingo Fishtrap!
Unbelive your eyes feel this music
She has beautiful eyes
You should review Stairway to Gilligan's Island by Roger and the Goosebumps. They did a parody of Stairway to Heaven. Robert Plant used to say he loved it.
I.S. No man in his Right Mind would Leave U. Great Song Choice keep the Good Work Up. Led Zeppelin next choice Since I've Been Loving You.
Приятно, когда молодёжь слушает музыку моей юности.
Take care.
You are missed, Georgia ! Where are you ? How are you? Come back !
Zeppelin's...You Shook Me. studio version
That was the album version! That was not live. Still great!
