The only things i miss on the M140i is the softer suspension and lesser steering wheel force. Even on comfort mode the M3 is stiffer then the M140i (with adaptive suspension) in sport + Would i go back? Yes, the M140i is just a pearl for its price, and in the xdrive version from a standstill the M3 doesn't stand a chance.

Looks like everyone already covered the weight distribution, but another benefit is the trunk is a better environment for the battery. Having a battery in the engine bay will subject it to much higher temperatures than the trunk. High temperatures are bad for battery chemistry, it will reduce the life of the battery if it sits at a higher temperature.
Haha drug dealers usually have all white with black wheels. All black means you're in the mafia. Serious though, all black looks amazing on any M car. Otherwise get a bright colour like orange. Don't get standard blue/white/silver on an M
The engine is top notch. No doubt. Interior design feels a bit outdated for a 2018 production model. And the seats are a joke for such a car. And a very bad joke. If BMW gets these things modernized in future editions..awesome...

As an old bmw fan i think the 6 cylinder cars have there battery always in the trunk

Yeah, interior could be much better, especially dashboard. It´s high time for some changes .
