Test drove golf r and a45 and focus rs, found the 4wd quite boring like my 335d even though they grip and pull hard anyone can mash a pedal, the noise from the b58 sounds better as well and im already looking at more power mods.

9:46 that’s because the steeringwheel is on the wrong side in your country. They had to redesign some parts to make it rwd. They where not bothered to do so, that’s it.

I had a go in one of these and bought a f82 m4 Comp in the end. Preferred the looks, no idea if it’s any quicker. Got something wrong with it though I think as the dct gear box bunny hops a lot when pulling away in sport plus.
Looked like your gps went AWOL? My BM3 stage 1 does 3.8 sec with 2nd gear launch on draggy (xhp stage 2 ) with thet 1ft roll out without its 4.0 with more to come with better tyres. I think the race logic units use the 1foot rollout method.
Had one 5 years ago, fun car but instead of clowning with noisy exhaust and tuning sort out LSD and to dump those stock Potenza's. More modern hot hotbacks may be more expensive but make the old m140i redundant, especially with tjeir four-wheel drive and even more so in less than perfect conditions. Power without control maybe fun on supermarket car parks but not so much on the road in January when its cold and wet. Personally, if you can get a full M car and save on mods to a Mlite 1 series

All of them handling mods cost me around £3,500 and it's is still considerably cheaper then buying a M car I've raced a few f series M cars and there really isn't much in it. Far as the wet damp cold British winter roads are any rear wheel drive car would be a handful to handle including M-Cars.
Rwd will always be better in the bends than awd, independent of the weather. It's the driver who is lacking. Had mine since 2017 and never had an issue pushing on in the wet.
I can’t believe he would have one of these over a45s witch a45s is more power looks better and the interior is 100% much better then this and feels faster then this I went in my mate one and it was 480hp and to be honest it felt slow to compare my fiesta with 390hp so when Tune these they don’t feel any faster then did b4 I wasn’t impressed one bit
The reason it feels fast is because you're fiesta is right on the limits with 390hp on a FWD car I bet torque steer must be fun. 😂 For a b58 480hp is child's play the engine is not even breaking a sweat. Whenever I pull up at the lights I get cars like yours wanting to race and I just leave them in the dust and I'm then happily reminded that I'm driving the absolute beast. One of a kind they will never make cars like this again.
A45s puts out less power than a stage 1 m140 and the 2 litre is already pretty much maxed out on the Merc, also a stage 1 140 whether it feels as quick or not would walk an a45s on a roll since it's 100-200 time is over a second faster
It’s about build quality! I went in my mates 400bhp evo after I’d raced him in my stage 2 m140 and his car felt twice as fast as mine, but I gapped him! When your in a BMW it’s like sitting in your living room 😂
Wrong. Only point where a45s is faster is off the line. Rolling vs the older one it's game over and the new one is level pegging. Plus, regardless of which a45 you choose, how long is a 2 litre running over 350bhp really going to last? Plus two cylinders per exhaust. It sounds like a fart in a tin can.😂
What bill? Owned my 2017 plate since new. Never had an issue. The engine is bulletproof. As for service costs, BMW give you 30% off for cars over 4 years old. Major and minor services are now cheaper via BMW than Halfords. Do your research and stop chatting sh1t.
Had my 2019 shadow edition for just over a week now, having that B58 in a little red 3dr hatchback is insane and I love it. She’s a keeper.

100%, after this video I believe the car was having power issues.

3l inline 6 with a ZF torque converter rwd in a small hatchback one of a kind won't be made again. Iam keeping my as long as i can.

RWD + Straight 6 engine is why. It’s a pretty simple choice for me!
