So happy to see Lydia and her Devon Close Sheep featured. Just off my needles is your Weod Sweater (pattern bought at the Tetbury Wool Fair). I have knitted it in Devon Close yarn bought from Lydia. I find the Devon Close yarn brilliant for stitch definition and colour work. It wears very well. 😊
Lovely. Lots of work to have completed with a toddler! Topic Change: I have heard that areas around you, maybe, are experiencing sneaky drop-offs of beavers (aka Beaver Bombing) to help with the recreation of wetlands. A family member here in the US is a gov’t person involved in aquifer and fish/wildlife habitat restoration as well as flood control using Beavers. Who knew? Love your work. Thank you.
What a wonderful project. Congratulations! I love how you champion your local fibreshed. As a fellow sheep breed fan, it is so lovely to see. And thank you for saying Zwartbles correctly! 😊
I love your new collection Marina - it’s stunning. Being on the opposite side of the Mendips to you I am finding your championing of South West yarns and our stunning countryside so inspiring - I definitely see some of these yarns and patterns in my future!
Congratulations on the completion of this project and on a collection of gorgeous designs! I’ve been watching your videos and seeing the individual items as you brought them into being. Seeing them all together really shows the cohesiveness of both the designs and the wonderful color palette from all the sheep. I hope you have a delightful holiday and enjoy knitting without deadlines. See you, or at least your videos, in the new year. harpingJanet
Gorgeous patterns! I always love to hear about your inspiration for designs and this was no exception. It's really inspiring to hear about the close link between the sheep, and the environment they are living in, to the finished garment.
Just love your new collection and the ethical nature of the yarn production. Hampen farm, I looked up and is not far from me, so will be visiting to buy the yarn and other produce soon. Excited to have 5 great projects to go at on the list for 2025 already, also the Beechmast! Wishing you all the very best for the festive season! Happy relaxing and crafting. 🎉🎄
Your work is such an inspiration, Marina. I loved hearing your philosophy, the connections to your local land, and the complexities of the yarns. I've only knitted one of your patterns, it was a delight
I want to knit the cardigan so much. I'll have to save for the yarn first though because I don't want to use a lesser yarn for it. I love how wool wears after a while
My goodness, sorry Clare I was so caught up making sure I didn’t miss any details with the patterns, I completely forgot! However, I’m not sure if you saw my reply to your comment but you did actually win the yarn. Could you please send me your address and I’ll get it sent to you?

Thank you! All of the yarns are linked in the description box below the video, and in the patterns on Ravelry/my website.
Did I miss you talking about your competition winner? From the last podcast? Always so nice to hear about Westcountry yarns…

Active human management…or beavers! I applaud your friends and their efforts.
Das Intro ist so lustig. Die Schafe schauen dich an als würden sie sich fragen: Ist sie eine von uns?😊
