Voodoo is a religion practiced in Haiti and other parts of the Caribbean, and it does not involve the consumption of dogs or any other animals as a religious ritual. Voodoo practitioners, also known as Vodouists, do not eat dogs as part of their religious practices. In fact, Voodoo is a complex and multifaceted religion that emphasizes community, healing, and connection with the divine. While animal sacrifice is a part of some Voodoo rituals, this is typically limited to animals like chickens, goats, or cows, and is done for specific spiritual purposes, not for consumption. It's important to note that Voodoo is often misunderstood and misrepresented in popular culture, leading to stereotypes and misconceptions. If you have any other questions about Voodoo or any other topic, feel free to ask!
The actual name of the religion is Vodoun originating from some countries in West Africa. It includes sacrificing of some animals but not the eating of dogs.

And then cries crocodile tears about immigrants being trafficked by human traffickers in the shell of Libya by the militia groups that NATO supported there? When has any politician said anything about the Tuareg displacement from Libya that resulted in the civil war in Mali? I feel like there could be such a thing as a foreign policy that allows people to live in their own nations with dignity instead of destroying their nations and importing them as cheap labor via human smuggling cartels. As you said yourself, "I have my issues w/ the US & their allies because their foreign interference makes us suffer & migrate." Voodoo is a religion practiced in Haiti and other parts of the Caribbean, and it does not involve the consumption of dogs or any other animals as a religious ritual.

Exactly. Saagar is the first one to spout off about “if you don’t like a law then win the votes to overturn the law until then it’s the law”. But migrants are all illegals because he doesn’t like the policy and laws in which they entered the country. He’s a hypocrite like the rest of the right wing.

My grandfather came from El Salvador in 1929 and spoke no English. He was 9 but put in 1st grade. He learned English and went on to be a PhD physicist from Princeton. Saying immigrants need to speak English before they get here is crazy.
No, it’s not. Your grandfather was illiterate in his own language let alone ours!! He took advantage of the American tax payer and became a doctor and paid into the system eventually. Saagar: There's always major strife when lots of foreigners come.
Yes, Saagar, because nativists have been racist from the beginning. Prohibition isn't justified because Irish people drink a lot, no matter how much you tell yourself it is. You can go through history and recognize the foolish motives behind all sorts of legislation. That doesn't justify it, and that's precisely how slavery and the genocide of native Americans were rationalized.
You can't complain about the cost of immigrants and poor people when you have billionaires who pay nothing in taxes, a trillion dollars per year spent on defense, and the continued funding of two foreign wars without any prospect of resolution. That is the definition of scapegoating.
Krystal ate so hardddd oh my god I’m so thankful she’s on the show

My family came to the US from South Sudan, the worst country in the world. There’s been war for generations. Only 25% of kids go to elementary school. Over 1/2 of girls are married before 18. If I stayed, I would’ve been ethnically cleansed. I have my issues w/ the U.S. & their allies because their foreign interference makes us suffer & migrate. That’s why I take issue w/ anti-immigrant sentiment because people attack immigrants but are okay w/ their tax dollars used to ruin lives in the global south. It’s hypocritical as an immigrant, & Indians often come here with wealth/education (like Kamala’s mom) and are anti black so I’m not surprised Sagaar thinks this way. I was able to get benefits from the U.S., but now I go to a top 25 school & plan to help American citizens & defend the disadvantaged. In NC, immigration doesn’t seem to be a problem. I'm glad you're not kicking away the ladder like Saagar is and standing up for US citizens while against US imperialism.
Or you could be okay with immigration and also with the forced displacements making the current condition that there are more refugees in the world today than at any point since WW2. Isn't it interesting that Team D is entirely in favor of the destruction and partition of Libya, the use of AQ as a proxy in Syria to destroy that country, sending Ukrainian soldiers into a perpetual meat grinder, 30% child malnutrition rates in Yemen during the ongoing invasion with Saudi and UAE with US involvement, targeting, and munitions, and the ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza and the West Bank? And then cries crocodile tears about immigrants being trafficked by human traffickers in the shell of Libya by the militia groups that NATO supported there? When has any politician said anything about the Tuareg displacement from Libya that resulted in the civil war in Mali? I feel like there could be such a thing as a foreign policy that allows people to live in their own nations with dignity instead of destroying their nations and importing them as cheap labor via human smuggling cartels. As you said yourself, "I have my issues w/ the US & their allies because their foreign interference makes us suffer & migrate." We have a basis to take issue with both the symptom and the cause because it ultimately benefits no one.
What of those people that are still stuck in South Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Ukraine and the other countries they've managed to destroy just in the past few decades? What about the people in Nicaragua, Vietnam, Panama, Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela and HAITI, that have suffered from past US interventions? Does immigration help them? How about you have a problem with the policies that force desperate people to flee their homes for some Realpolitik rat like Victoria Nuland or John Bolton?
