Pleas pray for me, I'm a teenager and I'm in a season of doubting my own faith like I know the promises of Jesus and his love for us but its just like there's something that preventing me to fully accept it, to fully accept the truth, and doubting my own salvation. Edit!: I truly appreciate all of you for praying for me ever since I posted this comment 4 years ago, and also to those who say otherwise. God really moved in my life through those years! I later on learned that it is part of our walk with God and many believers went through it as well, because the devil doesn’t want you to get closer and rely on God, and he attacks us the closer we get to Him. I got baptized and eventually my whole family got baptized too! Just a reminder of how powerful prayer is and how faithful God is to what He started in your faith. If you’re going through any tribulations, remember it can be testing of your faith and you should rely more on Him and remember this too shall pass.

Vini Angelo Adille it’s hard to believe that something can b SO easy and uncomplicated, as believing n Christ. N a world of ‘there’s always a catch’, u would THINK that there HAS to b a gotcha. But there isn’t. It’s just as simple as confessing you u r sins and committing your life to Jesus. Believe He died on the cross for u and was resurrected. @@billclark5055 I agree with you just have two or witnesses and declare her your wife in front of them and have her declare you her husband in front of the same witnesses. Do not get married through a court or any government in the USA.
I loved my wife with all my heart. She died almost a year age at age 44, which will seem old to you. We have an 18 year old son. Her death was really horrible to both of us since she was not ill and death was unexpected.
The courts and all government agency tried everything to stake a claim on anything we had if they could have. I found out from an attorney if you dont get married through any government institution they cant try to lay claim to anything in your marriage or your children. It is an evil government we live under. Pray to and through Jesus Christ at all times about everything.

@@billclark5055 like he said, marriage and sex is also a way to keep us from lust, remember what Paul said, he said he wishes all could be like him and not need to marry and just be celibate for the lord, but not all people are the same, some marry and some do not marry, just put the lord first, that's the main point regardless if you have a spouse.

My husband of 40 years asked me to look for him in heaven. The second anniversary of his death is coming up in just a few days. I’m not strictly aware that we will even know one another in heaven. I hope so! I have always taken great comfort that, whatever happens, it will be perfect - because God.

I'm a christian who's slowly backsliding. I subbed to your channel and see your videos but never click on them often. Everytime I say I'll watch it but never come to do. Im struggling physically and spiritually, man I know all I know I need to do is pray and live for God but it's always easier said than done.

@E-M Entertainment I do believe people are ripping this verse out of context Matthew 22:30, here's my view on it given and taken in marriage=contract based marriage not union in the heart like Adam and Eve before the fall had for each-other, it stands to my reason that this is to me personally as false doctrine and not about two people commited in the heart but I believe Jesus was referring to Leviticial Marriage, Jewish Weddings of the Old Covenant, in the New Covenant union and true love is what I believe God wants between male and female for Eternity not contacts, hope this helps God Bless you and your family too... @@azuraroycroft2419 Your welcome I believe Jesus was referring in Matthew 22:30 about arranged marriages and marriage laws based on Levitical Marriage and Old Testament Mosaic Laws of how marriages were handled back then I don't believe Christ was for replacement or end to the original plan with marriage where Adam and Eve were Husband and Wife, and I believe it wasn't supposed to be a social contract under government or law but under God alone, I believe Christ is going to restore and renew everything to where Sin and the Devil are gone, I believe a lot of Modern and Mainstream Christianity was infiltrated by liars and false teachers, I believe Christ warned us about all this but some allowed this to continue and cause chaos, depression, and division, I believe you and I were meant to be free and religion I believe kills freedom but I believe Christ died for our freedom, always think for yourself but always put Christ first, take care and God Bless :)

I recently lost my wife also, and when I realized we would no longer be husband and wife in Heaven (even before seeing your video), that knowledge triggered another stage of grieving for me. I have now come to grips with it, and like you, Brother Allen, I’m sure that the majesty and glory of Heaven and being with our Savior will far outweigh any earthly experience we ever had!

Sorry for your troubles, so sad! Adam and Eve were a couple, I doubt they got married before their sin. Christ seems to say there is no marriage in heaven but he did not say there is no union like Adam and Eve. I imagine God will give you what you want :-)
And what makes you think that you won't be together? If you still want a spouse on the New Heaven and Earth you can God is not going to stop you from doing that

I totally agree. I believe we'll recognize and remember people who were special to us in this life, but I don't think we'll remember exactly who they were (mom, dad, friend, wife/husband, etc.) It doesn't bum me out--we'll all love each other and be with Jesus!

Joy and sorrow...I also think you would be surprised who you might find in heaven and who isn't. Only God is the judge of that. I can't imagine God wiping our memories of Earth, because this life is meant to help us grow and develop to the people we will be in the afterlife...that's just my thoughts on the subject. It would be so sad to me if I didn't remember my loved ones.

If I can marry up many spots, and God sends me dreams and visions and speaks to me to go to her, that is much different.

There would be no marriage in heaven, no re-union, simple as that. We will be like Angel. There would be no male nor female reproductive organ. There would be no urge for corruption, There would be no physical food to eat and there would be no hungry for physical food. We shall be given a different body.

It’s interesting! I hold an uncommon opinion on this one, after doing many hours of digging on this verse! Here goes my ramble lol...
Historical and cultural context is always important. Like Allen explains in the video, this marriage they are speaking of is a law instituted due to death which is a cause of sin after the fall in Eden. This marriage was a union for the purposes of protection and furthering the family line, not what we would think today as marrying for love.
Now ... “And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”(gen 2:18) Adam was not alone as he was with all the animals, AND he had DIRECT contact with God, more than we have today, yet God recognized his need for a partner that would compliment him. Having a companion is part of PRE-sin human nature. This was BEFORE the fall and sin. God will restore the garden of Eden to its pre-sin nature (Rev 22).
If Adam and Eve were brought together by God BEFORE sin in God’s original plan, what’s for us to think that God would not restore his original plan for human companionship just as He will restore His original plan for the world? Maybe it’s our preconceived notion of the term “marriage” that is important here.
A legal Marriage was needed in a post-fallen world to fill the holes that sin had created. A “union” between man and woman in a pre-fallen world was God’s original design for human nature.
Now when the Sadducees where asking Jesus this question, they had no belief in a life after death. They were simply trying to stump Jesus. So Jesus only addressed what He needed to address. The terms “marry” and “be given in marriage” in this passage are verbs in the original language. Men did the act of marrying, and women were given into it.
In the garden of Eden, did Adam and Eve go through a sort of “legal” marriage? Or was it bigger than that? Was it something more than the term we think of? It was human’s original nature pre-sin to have a helpmate.

Amen, sister!! Your insights are invaluable and you clearly think outside the box. I've made the point in numerous arguments with people that Jesus was only talking about marriage as a legal institution and not as a relationship between two people. I also know that "marry" and "given in marriage", the two terms Jesus uses, are verbs that refer to the act of getting married and not the state of being married (an article by Ben Witherington explains this beautifully). Also, note that none of the "reasons why" marriage isn't "needed" in heaven are in the Bible. Jesus never said we don't marry in heaven because there's no need for procreation, or because are are His bride, or because everybody loves everybody the same. All of that reasoning is pure conjecture and none of it is Biblical.
But..... what about the part that says we will be like the angels?

@@rockorego Where does the Bible say what angels are like? The problem I have with "we will be like angels" is everybody assumes we are sexless because angels are sexless. But are they? Where does the Bible say that? You can't point back to Matthew 22:30. You can't say angels are sexless because we are like angels, because we are sexless because angels are like us. That's circular logic.
@@rockorego I understand "we will be as the angels" to mean that we will no longer die anymore. I don't see any connection to that statement proving there's no marriage on the new earth.

@@KittyChanU2 Because 1 Tim 3:1-13 says you must be a total example for others, you must not deceive others (not that Allen does, but sometimes we might be in error, and he doesn't want to take that risk), because bible says we all must be a part of the body and correct, aid, teach, rebuke eachothers, nobody is higher that the other, because self-apointed titles like the pharisees had brought nothing good, and lastly, bible says theres a much more severe punishment for pastors that lead others astray, its a big responsability and big risks. So Allen did the humble thing to not call himself a pastor. Please consult the Bible to verify everything i said. May our Lord keep us close to Him and give us His discernment.
If anyone was wondering, some people have been to heaven and came back to earth (near death experience) and most of them have recognized people they knew, the only thing that was different is that they weren’t old, had any imperfections, or flaws so yes people will know each other and we will know other people and get to know them too and ultimately we will know God and praise Him!
I believe that this question and many others won’t be fully understood until we reach glorification.

@@normandy2501 In Heaven it will be a place of relationship and love. That is exactly what marriage is, simply plus sexual intimacy through the flesh where the husband and wife can experience union with each other.
Sounds like a risky distraction that is just an acceptable form of entertainment. I'd rather have more free time and entertain myself. Plus more time to praise Elohim and I can still spread the Gospel through friends.

As someone pointed out in the Mosaic laws brides where purchased for a price (50 shekels of silver) marriage didn't have the same context rather it was a contract.
Before the fall marriage was a joining of one flesh of two who became one, which might I add where in a glorified state. Marriage came after, still whatever GOD joins together let no man separate still applies, and only HE knows. Paul told the widows he thinks it best to stay singles even as he is now (paraphrasing) because he understood the importance of salvation.
He also knew that there would be children born in the new Kingdom after the resurrection. It mentions this in Isaiah. Moreover GOD created love eros, only after love agape! The very next love after agape (GOD's love for humans, and humans for GOD), and I believe philia came sometime after. GOD is a mature and full of wisdom I think a lot of Christians are misinformed, I believe the one who steal, kills and destroys, the liar has been stealing the whole concept of love eros away.
I mean look at the monk monasteries they were plagued with issued having been forced/coerced into a life of celibacy. It was wrong and a misunderstanding of purity, because it's what comes out of a man which defiles him. Our gender is rooted deeply into our identity and it will not pass away! There will be many wonderful things in heaven, but I think it will be more familiar than we realize, because after all there's something wonderful in humility and simplicity.

All I know is when people on this side are nearing the otherside they always talk about seeing loved ones already on the otherside so that makes me believe that we will at least recognize one another on the otherside.

I honestly don't believe marriages in heaven would be fair, there are people whose spouse has unfortunately passed away and they married another widower, who would those people actually be married to in heaven if they were previously married to different spouses? Reproduction was the original intention, not to replace death after sin. Hence the command be fruitful and multiply.

What I've been wondering lately is, will my children still be my children? I feel like 2 Samuel 12 might give clarity on this, but I'm not sure. When I look at my toddler and my five-month-old little girl, I must admit that it saddens me that I might not know them as my children in Heaven.

Those your children are not actually your children but children of God. They were given to you physical in order to take care of them for God. In Heaven you will not know your children as your children, you will see them as your fellow children of God.
Why would you worry about such things? We don't know what'll happen after death. It might be great; it might not. It might be nothing. It might be something. You might as well believe you'll recognize your kids after they die. It makes as much sense as anything else.
This is why we won't know each other in heaven because there shall be no death, crying, pain there. Imagine if you make it to heaven and people who you thought was there aren't there thats gonna make one think and be depressed and sorrowful and that can't be in heaven .
C.S. Lewis (in Mere Christianity, "Hope" chapter) seems to lean toward "YES". Our yearning for perfect Romantic Love (which is never fully satisfied in this fallen world) is proof that God gave us this desire, therefore, He must intend to ultimately satisfy that "Hope".

I think that in the new creation, God will redefine what constitutes the union between man and woman. Think of Adam and Eve before the fall: they never actually "got married." God simply created Eve for Adam.

@@erichetherington9314 In the Bible, the 2 stories are actually 2 different accounts of one story. In Gen 1:26-28 it never said that Eve was created from the earth. Gen 2:7-23 is a more detailed account of the same event.

Now in Jesus' answers to the Pharisees when you read in context you get to understand the kind of marriage that will not be in heaven..
Firstly a woman is given to wife the brother of her husband because the first husband died, if he hadn't died his wife would be his forever.. So in heaven there will not be such kind of marriage because people don't die.
Jesus gave the answer based on the question... This answer does not apply to normal marriage which God instituted in the garden of Eden.

Aqua Lilly before Jesus had his debate with the Sadducees, he had a debate with the Pharisees about divorce, which he said let no man take apart what God has brought together. Adam and Eve didn’t need to go on a date because God brought them together. In Heaven we won’t need to go on dates or have our parents arrange the marriage because God will be the one to bring the man and woman together. Most of all, God said it is not good for man to be alone. Adam wasn’t totally alone when God said this because God and the animals were there with him. What God was saying is it’s not good for man to be single because we are to be the image of God, who is three persons in one.

The reason most of us here on earth buy a big house, is because we want to enjoy it with our spouse and children. A big house with many rooms (maybe a pool?) would be perfect for a large family with kids. However if we are not going to be married in heaven, and have no children, what's the point of having Jesus prepare for us a mansion in heaven? Wouldn't it be more practical to have a small apartment instead, if we were to live our lives in heaven as individuals?

On the New Earth, I want to live in a house with vintage appliances (refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, range, etc.) that are not computerized or full of electronics like many modern appliances. Harvest gold (an appliance color that was popular in the 70s) is the color I want.
Just a thought here, Adam was given Eve to be his wife and were told to be fruitful and multiply before sin entered the world. That tells me that marriage and multiplying were always part of our design. Perhaps Jesus was explaining that those laws will not be present as we will be brought back into the purpose God created us for. Thoughts?

Also if you look at what scripture says about the resurrected bodies Jesus was able to eat and drink in his new body. People saw him as a normal person like they couldn't tell the difference between him and any other man. When God gives us our new bodies I believe they will have all the body parts that we had before including our sex organs. I can't see God giving us a new body but he takes away our genitals. That would be pretty weird if I looked up one day and my genitals were gone..lol. I think we will have male and female genitals and if so then why? I guess a super spiritual person would say its so we can use the restroom but its definitely not for sex or potential marriage ..lol. Genesis 2:18-22 was before the Fall (Genesis 3) happened. I fully believe that GOD has a special man/woman set aside for each and every single one of us that are counted worthy to attain that age to come. He created Eve for Adam so that Adam wouldn't be alone; and that says a lot right there.

There would be no marriage in heaven, no re-union, simple as that. We will be like Angel. There would be no male nor female reproductive organ. There would be no urge for corruption, There would be no physical food to eat and there would be no hungry for physical food. We shall be given a different body.

The religious leaders didn’t ask will there be marriage in Heaven. They asked is there marriage in the resurrection which in that time we will be “dead” then rise up again alive. God created the constitution of marriage and said it’s not good for man to be alone. Marriage is a gift from God. And just like our free gift of salvation I doubt God would get rid of marriage. There’s more to this but mainly pay attention to the words of Jesus and the actual question. In their days women were given into Marriage , arranged marriage. And when he says we will be like angels in Heaven that means in that nano second we will be like the angels flying up. And on the new Earth it shows some scripture that we will build our own houses and have children and eat of our own fruit.

That verse is not conclusive enough to state whether or not their will be marriage/sexual relations in heaven, besides He comes to restore all things. In the beginning Adam and Eve were one and had the ability to enjoy sex, before sin entered. What makes us think God will change that especially when sex is apart of who we are as humans, ie we are made in Gods image with the innate desire for the other sex to have sex.. odds are this will continue in the next life

Any notion of discarding the body, shedding the flesh etc. is gnosticism, gnosticism, and nothing but gnosticism. If you want to say that the desire for marriage is worldly, you're essentially saying that the desire for love is worldly, and that's blasphemy against God. That's like telling God the Father or Jesus Christ that Their desire and love for us is "worldly".

I literally just asked this question today. In Matthew Jesus talks about this. It said “at the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, they will be like angels in heaven”. Immediately I asked the question, will we remembered who we dated or married on earth? Then this video popped up. Wow the Lord really answers questions lol. Idk what it means how we would be like angels. I am assuming no private parts, but then I think about how angels did get humans pregnant and caused giants and said in the Old Testament. However also keep in mind that marriage is for the glory of God, not us. Therefore? What is the point of marriage In heaven when God is already glorified there?
There will be no MARRYING in Heaven. The Bible says nothing about our CURRENT marital state. If we are not married to our current spouse in Heaven that means God dissolves that marriage. This means God will have to go against His standards as He hates divorce.

i discovered something is not right about him specifically, and rap or worldly music in general. i stopped to listen to hip hop, there are spirits that come into us when we listen to it, when i was made aware of this, on new years eve this year i was shocked, i cant even say everything, i used to doubt these illuminati theories cos come on we know that people just like to pick conspiracies and start chasing them and talking about it all the time, they looked silly and obsessive to me. but the illuminati in rap is true, its tough to stop listening to that music cos i really loved it, the creativity and all, i cant get that level of consistently good and creative music from other genres but hey, Jesus is coming soon, i cant risk it, dont want Him to come and then i discover that a demon has been secretly owning me from listening to that music. i cant believe ive become one of the people who warn people about this, im not saying im sent to do it or anything, i would never want the Lord to even send me for anything but the effects of this is huge on your spiritual life, and i dont know what would happen if one dies or if Jesus comes before you let go of it. im not even sure if i need deliverance from it, i might. i hope you get the awareness i got, i cant really say you should dig for knowledge cos i think you will just find the over zealous conspiracy chasers, but hey, i hope God guides you

For me, i dont really need a marriage... But i do like to meet my wife, my kids, my parents who was on earth, in Heaven that living together in peace, rejoice, and full of forgiveness that we cannot get that all fully on earth... I dont have to fight with my wife, my parents, i dont have to scold my kids... But we cheers each other under Christ's as Father and our King, we forget about all of our sin was on earth... Well, honestly i almost cry write about this... Too much selfishness and sin in this world that we failed to deal with those... My big hope in Heaven will repay everything we failed before
My first husband is in heaven. I have since re married since his death. I hope to see him again in heaven but I do remember it saying til death do us part. When I get to heaven only want to in a relationship with Christ. I hope everyone I love will be my family in heaven my brothers and sisters.

@Roscoe Bosco glad you asked I believe in The Original Koine Greek New Testament the marriage between the wedding between the Bride and the Lamb, being the Bride Of Christ and him being our husband, is Jewish Wedding Symbolism, which I believe when we're married to Jesus I believe this is being married into his Holy family and spiritual unification, Isaiah 65 of The Original Hebrew Old Testament suggests to me there will be childbearing in the New Earth in New Jerusalem, also I believe Matthew 22:30 is Jesus referring to Levirate Law Marriage based on contracts, family progression, concubine property wives, and multiple wives and multiple husbands, will not exist in Heaven and in the Resurrection but a Holy and Blessed marriage between one male and female only, just like Adam and Eve before sin, established between each-other and blessed by God, just my thoughts and views researching and studying scripture, hope that may answer your question God Bless...
