Great video! I tried your improved slim beauty knot, and I believe it is better than the knot, GT knot, I have been using for years. GT knot is also called slim beauty knot by some people. It is good for braid to mono leader less than 30 lbs. I usually keep the leader around 10 ft at the beginning as I need to retie my jig frequently. The new leader line needs to come through the guides many times before it is too short. Your improved slim beauty knot makes the knot stronger and easier for passing through the guides. Im sure that wont slip, but man its a whole lot longer process than tying an FG knot. FG you can tie super fast if you just tie it on a rod using the tip for a bit of tension.

Definitely a must only i would finish with a rizlo knot instead of all those half hitches

This was a good video, but honestly I can do a decent FG in about the same time. I do like the skin beauty for mono.
Without explanation, this not can be tie within 2 minutes max. How long it takes for you to tie FG knot?
