SMALLER Unreal Engine Installs! Recover 20+ GB
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лис 2021
- In this Two-Minute Tuesday tutorial we cover how to save disk space by optimizing our Unreal Engine installs. We can easily recover 20gb of space per version of Unreal. This is especially handy if you have several versions of Unreal installed like I do.
Keep in mind, this only applies to those of you NOT doing mobile gamedev work.

Hi Will, massive fan and love your work. Thanks so much for the tip! My hard drive and me say thanks! Quick tip from an audio boffin: Put a high pass filter on your videos below 60ish Hz, there was some few very low thumps and the low end of an air conditioner / computer hum. You don't really need audio information down there for your videos so would recommend cutting that information. You could consider a subtle gate as well to reduce the background noise when you are not speaking. Thanks again bro!
Hi there! Thanks so much for the advice! This video was the first video recorded with my new Deity S-Mic 2, and it's a whole heck of a lot more sensitive than my previous mic, still getting the hang of how to use it properly. I've since added noisegate, and bought a shock mount to help with the thumps. Great advice about high pass filtering anything below 60hz tho, I appreciate it!
@@WilliamFaucher My pleasure Will, hope you have a nice Christmas lined up :) Thanks again
