Both trailers have steering axles. And we never said it was a competition. The words used where. We want to see how the fastrac compares to a fairly typical carting tractor for Ireland.
turning wise they are so close there more or less even. tipping wise the conventional tipping trailer is way ahead as she is tipped and gone before the pusher is half way through. so my 2 main questions is price difference on those 2 trailers being tested and how the trailers stand the test of time over a 5-10 year period.
Well the compact and push trailer is a relatively new concept. Therefore noone can answer the durability question. You can't over look the fact that it's a compactor trailer. It in theory can hold up to 30 to 40% more. (We have not proved this theory yet). And if it can then it would need to be compared to the equivalent tonnage trailer tipping cycle.
Donkey and the team, cracking little experiment of trailers.....i see paint missing on Herron draw bar and not on Ktwo, i get fastrac has four wheel steer, but that Herron trailer looks well built.....when you say same size, in theory, do they hold the same amount of grass, because I would buy that Herron of that Ktwo every day of the week....regardless of it been a push off.....cracking experiment.....👌👌👍👍
How easy is it to fix the K2. What is the weight difference between them both .Interesting also how well it will hold up after a few years of abuse still rather have the old tried and tested
Not being smart we cant answer that question. Tho technology moves along and sheds are not getting bigger etc. We feel that there is definitely a market for a push trailer.
@@Grassmen Thanks for the reply and good answer as for teh sheds mnot getting bigger we had a farmer out measuring a 200 horse massey a few years back to get a height for the new shed they were erecting as he reckoned it would be a future loader tractor and he is probably right and forward thinking for a 70 year old lol seen some of these fastracs on loaders even
@@igagri4817 they are one of the most comfortable tractors in the world. The fact that they are an independent company with such great technology and such a wide range of machinery is truly fascinating. No company has conquered the market like john deere. They are big worldwide for a reason.
Joey83 not to mention highest market share across the world for new tractor sales brand for brand. Some people just have the “American” bee in their bonnet.
Good comparisons, look forward to seeing more 👍 Be interested to hear how they travel on the road as a comparison?
Loved at the meal how the 6 wheel unit and trailer would go where a 8 wheeler wouldn’t.
How much power do you get from the solar panels you have, and what do you run with them?
How does the Herron h2 compare to the Kane Halfpipe?
Was thinking there's goes the rear mudguards on the jcb 😂

Herron has done 1 full season. K2 is just out of the box.
The KTwo looks like some trailer BUT: A Broughan or Smyth is the way to go boys 😎😁🤙🏻🤙🏻
Mine won't turn that tight because i have it on 710s
Very true. Lol.
An interesting test👍
Anyone else notice that those concrete barriers on the cowshed have been smashed up since the new toys video?
Getting replaced. In the middle of it.
I've heard you can brake ring off some trailers turning very tight with 4220 ,depends on width thickness of drawbar perhaps ,didn't happen today .
Well there wont be many fastracs able to work her if it cant turn tight lol.
Don't get me wrong i like them ,yet to drive one though, so glad you boys are testing it out.
nice job
Donkeys getting taken in by the fastrac?? I think the next challenge it should be donkey in the seat👍🏼
the k2 is slower as he did not bring back the unit back to the front of the trailer

this is what is problematic about 4 whell steering. Your ass goes out of a turn cab be problematic if you have something long on 3 point
IF this Problem can put fastrac in 2 wheel steer
@@itwazza1 I know but then you loose turning radius, you just have to think about it and it's fine

Put them both on the road and it’s a easy competition John Deere are rubbish!
Are they now? Most sold tractor in Ireland doesn't scream rubbish to me
2nd that I have 2 they are overpriced, uncomfortable and unreliable goodbye green from me!
