Donkey and Gazza have gathered up the cameras again and joined Alastair Dale Contracts to put the Ktwo to the test alongside the mighty New Holland FR. How will it fair with the small fields and tight gates around Broughshane and how much more grass can it really hold?

I drove one of those jcbs before
That's a good job every 5 loads u would b saving 1 load of drawing which u would be good on a long draw say paying for diesel tyres and labour wear and tear cost 👍
We think theres more. We thing we will get it to 30% every 4 loads kinda thing.
@@Grassmen ya if u had say three or 4 of them you would save alot of money probably dear the buy at first but when u add it all up your saving money n the long run
Were the two loads weighed one after the other, and just edited with more loads in between? Just thinking of the variation in DM from different fields.

I'm not from a farming background. I'm at university doing an engineering degree at Queens. However I'd love to cart a bit of grass over the summer. Any tips for getting a job. (I have driven a John Deere 5125r as I do a bit of work for a contractor building pitches so I'm not completely new to a tractor)
For a tractor of that size it has very good manoeuvrability around a yard like that.

Get the fastrac up to greenfields for a load of fert that will test her
30 tonne boys thats heavy going.ye may forget it in wet weather and hills . For the sake of 2 tonne more, is it really worth it ?!

Well, that extra 2t might save you a tip or 2 on bigger fields in a day's work.

You would think the rear wheel steer in the jcb would give it a great chance in tight spots
fairly capped that compacted it only held 2.1tonnes more
from 10.6t to 12,68t with dry grass. thats like 15-20%increase per load. thats not "only". if its worth the extra initial cost is subjective but im quite impressed tbh
@@SlyFoxl we need to just get the compaction fine tuned. That was the genuine 1st attempt.

How is that rig 17 tons that means that trailer is 8 ton empty !!
yea thought that aswell, i would guess the actual weight of that 4220 with some extras and bigger wheels would be around the 9t mark and thats not a small tractor for sure and another 8t empty trailer and then again 10+t with grass on her while driving out in the field :0
7.5 tonne. Fasty is 9.5 with the 900kg deck weight on her.
