- It's well known that JCB Fastrac are considered a transport tractor. Well since it's pretty quiet and we have a 4220 to play with Donkey and Gazza have decided to carry out a few tests to see if the Fastrac is indeed a Tractor.
Please note Donkey has taken on the filming role for these challenges. So no professional cameramen were injured in the shooting of this video!

Yeah definitely a hindrance to normal life right now but if we can all come out of this safe and well then I can wait for that video 😁 in the mean time I've ordered a few of your dvds to keep me entertained as I've just about completed netflix 😂
In Austria many Farmers use Fastracs old and new Models, the might be quite expensive but also very reliable.

any good driver would not spread the slurry at the gate 1st you start at the other side and work towards the gate
We never said we were good tho. But thanks for the tip. The cameraman must not have wanted to wait until the last load to see how it gripped up the steepest bit of the hill.
Great to see the JCB in action. They were really ahead of their time and I still don't understand why they aren't sold in greater numbers especially as agriculture these days involves more and more transport. A great British product. I remember going to a ploughing match in Lincolnshire in 1989/1990 and chasing one carrying a four or five furrow reversibe on the back......I struggled to catch up with it on the short straights/bends and I had an XR2!!!!
Loading the front is more or less a waste of time.
Deck weight is what a Fastrac needs as they are super light on the back end.
Nice to see clean tankers, round here near Dorchester Dorset they are filthy from top loading spills.
Ye should visit Glen South farm near mallow co cork it is a 600 acre farm with the only lely vector in Ireland

Gary looked like wouldn't make it up the hill , especially with the slow start, but fair play...
It's a steep hill but in the right conditions you should be able to spread uphill with the JCB no bother ... I'd love a drive on the fast track myself 🤔🤣🤣 ....
I used to spread slurry for a neighbour , one field was so steep you where looking at the sky going up it, this happened very rarely.

If you want more grip, lower the tyre pressures they are probably at about 25psi
35psi.
@@Grassmen we run ours at 20 and then 10 in the field if the isn't much weight on the back or the back tyres at 16, out pulls the neighbors 6215r and nearly Mf 7726 Dyna vt

Yup. We know this. But we had them set as per recommendation for full weight and 65kph.

I love using my fast track for carting but will always use the deer for field work but hats just me
We aren't trying to say it's better than a tractor. More is it a tractor. If that makes sense.
GRASSMEN I totally understand I personally feel that If you have a choice between the fast track and a tractor you would buy a tractor ..that been said I’m huge a fan boy of your content. Keep it up
