Since you and BearClaw are spending more time together, it would just amazing to see you video BearClaw porting. He is an amazing technical craftsman and his soft spoken words are pure gold to everyone porting. He is an part of logging/falling history and should be captured and shared for this generation and future generations to come. I would love to hear what he thinks!!!
Hey buckin. I just got my teeth kicked out by a maple spring pole. I was in the dentist from 5 till 930 last night. But guess what I'm saying thanks to you.... I'm just thankful to be alive. And I'm in a good damn mood. Love you all.
I am old enough for Brian to be my younger brother. I enjoy his measured approach to expressing himself. Still I enjoy listening to you rattle on about many things until they are balled up like a pile of twine. Good guys, good video. Keep at it.
I learn so much from watching Brian! His movements are smooth, just what is required, and nothing more. No wasted effort or energy. I am sure that is what decades of experience teaches you. Even though I've got five plus decades behind me, I am still learning by watching others who have mastered it! Thank you for sharing this wonderful gentleman with all of us! Love and blessings to all... Lieutenant Bradley ❤️💪
I've run a Stihl 461, 462, and 660 (among other saws...a 572XP). The 462 is absolutely my favorite, that power to weight ratio is amazing, and not too cumbersome even when climbing with it; however, I completely agree with it loving "smaller" wood. The perfect Stihl 462 setup is a muffler mod, with 8 tooth sprocket, spinning an 84DL chain (25" bar). Here in the southeastern US, I don't need much more than that very often, however when needing a 36" bar my old 660 is definitely the better saw for that length.
Nothing better then a Buckn video before a days tree work 🌲. I picked up my 500i yesterday. And well what a saw like it cuts really good as a stock saw out the box I'm very pleased with it . It's feels like my 660 for power but just super light . Great to see Brian on the channel I enjoy hearing his opinion on things such a wealth of knowledge! Reminds me of the fella who taught me how to fall timber and work on saws. Great video mate keep it up!
G'day Buckin, I had to smile seeing Bear claw bent over as a seventy year old debarking that log with the Spanish Basque axe whilst you were busy filming and talking, that's a man used to hard work 👍.
My my my Buckin I wish I could explain how warm and full my heart is for you when I see you and Bearclaw hangin out and talkin saws. Love it brother and I love ya man. Thank you very much. 🌲❤🌲✊🪓
ITS NICE SEEING 2 LOGGERS REMINICING ABOUT OLD TIMES ,YOU CAN TELL BEARCLAW LOOKS AT BUCKIN LIKE HIS OWN SON IM GLAD THEYVE STUCK TOGETHER FOR ALL THESE YEARS ITS AWESOME LOTS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE BETWEEN THE 2 OF THEM
I'm not a tree guy I just grew up on a farm cutting firewood and still do like watching your stuff and getting ideas to use my equipment better I've always liked hanging my own ax heads so I enjoyed learning new ways to do things thank you for what you do and keep on doing it
Sharp boxing drill you did there Bucken Billy, I used to be a boxer and kick boxer back in the day , I seen the little movement with the shoeshine flurry was cool . You put out great content I learn so much from your videos, Thank you God bless you and your family.
I’ve already given this video a 👍up & I haven’t even watched it yet, haha. Just sitting down now to enjoy the video. Thanks Buckin & friends. Hope your all having a good day. Love always wins. Be kind. Respect ✊🏼
Hey Buck in. You keep these videos coming brother I’m learning stuff from you every day and I will continue to. I was bucking a huge tulip poplar yesterday and I use the knowledge that you give me and I’ve been cutting trees for 15 years and I learned from you every day. You’re awesome God bless you and you keep this coming and I could do this all the time man we love you.Hogan we’re so proud of you keep it up brother
Yo. What I noticed. FYI. You don’t want a 462 on a fire crew. If the saw shuts down it’s a hundred dollar diagnostic at the stihl shop. No time for that. 461R is the champ.
I love watching you bang wedges buckin, keep spilling the knowledge I have learned alot on how to take care of trees on our 33acre heavily wooded property.
fought through these nasty conditions here in Wisconsin 2day and got our big oak tree job wrapped up, was hoping for a video to perk me back up after getting home from the shop and ofcourse wasn't let down . now i can watch yall work while i get some food grilling haha. thanks for everythang buck!!

Buckin and Bearclaw! I'm so blessed to be able to watch to humble legends. Buckin you are an incredible man. Love from Ohio. Huskies are tried and trued. Nothing wrong with stihl I'm just a husqvarna man. Love the big saw blade the ol burner is sitting on. Fun shop buckin
Been running a 462 for years....down here in illinois she screams through our hard woods...got to adjust those rakers...I stagger them...that cold frozen wood like our nasty oaks....love seeing you put them through what those saws love...WOOD...Do have to say thanks Buckin'....always get excited for the next video....
Love what you do Bubba buckin I'm new to channel and new at cutting with chain saw do I'm a rookie you have reached me alot on all especially sharping a chain now I'm getting it thanks so much Bubba buckin love you brother...
The 461 is just a beast for its class. 462 in my opinion is a 24-28" bar killing machine. It's lite and it's fast in the smaller wood. Big wood and longer bars the extra stroke +2mm in the 461 takes it. No replacement for displacement. 462 bore x stroke 34x52 461, 36x52 Makes all the difference.
Hi Buckin. Another great video. Wife's doing yoga in the lounge so was a great time to watch it. You just chill me out after a busy day. Big love to you and the Buckin army. ✊❤
I’m mostly depressed now honestly, in 2019 my family and I lost literally everything in a inferno of a wildfire and trying to recover from it and than my favorite neighbor moved who was my best friend and I bought her truck from her before she left so it meant a lot to me than 2 weeks ago I rolled it and I don’t know if it’s fixable it’s not looking good and so many more problems every day, so I don’t really remember what it’s like to have a really good day and to be so happy, but it’s really nice to see you so happy and your cheerfulness it helps me plus I love to cut firewood and mill boards. I hope you and your family are doing well!

The 461 is just a beast for its class. 462 in my opinion is a 24-28" bar killing machine. It's lite and it's fast in the smaller wood.
Big wood and longer bars the extra stroke +2mm in the 461 takes it.
