Another one that I spotted but everyone else (I think) is getting wrong: "Oh, Bird, worry not" from Missing Limbs. Bird is a common term of endearment. In the song he's talking to a loved one. People have suggested it's "but"...but I think Vessel is speaking to a dearly held loved one. In this case in Dark Signs ("I will not break..."), though, I really think I'm right. He's repeating a mantra to himself to stay strong in resistance to his desire to go back to how it was. That reading of that line feels like it's in line with the idea the rest of the lyrics leaves me with. If nothing else, it's amazing how this band can say so many different things to so many different people. They seem to make abstract paintings the listener can imbue with their own meaning pulled straight from their own lives. WHAT a damn treasure this band is!

The first few lines of this song mentioned being raised where there was no street lights. The running theory is that are you really OK? Was sung from the viewpoint of vessel’s mother, and she was the one who was seeing her child go through all this trauma.
His storytelling is definitely on another level. He pulls you in and you feel what he's conveying. The only real difference in the albums is that they got a new producer for TMBTE. It definitely shows as their uniqueness shines better. If they ever release remastered versions of the first two albums I'm getting them in a fucking heartbeat. Much love. 🤘🔥🤘❤️🫂

I loved this one guys. Eric over there goin "Eewww" a few times 😂😂😂 And Kyle just vibin like 😌😌😌 eyes closed soaking it all up. I have to agree with Eric tho. TMBTE is absolutely phenomenal. But so is their earlier LPs but just in a different way. This song is lyrically descriptive of how tortured Vessel is and how he feels about what is happening in this "relationship". I think one of the things people love about ST is that almost everyone can relate to their songs. Vessel just has this gift for story telling and weaving music and emotion like the Pied Piper. I don't mind being a "rat" or "mouse" and following wherever Vessel leads. I'm down for it 😂. I'm transfixed with his voice and music and can't get enough. Sleep Token loves to fade out so that their music gets stuck in your head. I'm convinced of that. The only difference between TMBTE and their other music is that the genre switching and blending is more overt. But as you guys said, the elements of trap/hip-hop/R&B were always there.
All three albums are a trilogy. It's one big story, starting with sundowning, then this place will become your tomb and finally, take me back to eden. It's a work of art, full stop.
