back when the modular turbine engine was added my friends and i made an express frieght contest. i used the turbines in a generator electric setup with distributed power among the cars. the other two used diesels. let's just say i managed the express part VERY well
@@CaptainCockerels what would you suggest if I'm losing fuel too rapidly in my jet engine. I've added a gear to the tail, and two gears to the main, tweaked the ratios and it'll get off the ground at 60 rps. Is this good, I have no clue. I'm losing about 2L/s with 1118 total liters of fuel. She flies but not for long.
@@m777howitzer4 ultimately the only so you can do to reduce fuel burn is to reduce the RPS of the turbine. Then you'd increase the gear ratios pointing towards the engine to account for the reduction in turbine RPS.
