My favourite romance is Connor's romance with his mission to find Charles Lee, so passionate, so wholesome, so romantic, everything Connor wanted in his life was Charles Lee, you can clearly understand this by his own words: "GIVE ME LEE!" In all seriousness i agree with the number 1 option, Aya and Bayek's relationship is my favourite, it's just too good.
Felt like we could really feel the sadness and yearning the way they wonderfully wrote the Bayek/Aya relationship. I feel like no one ever mentions how many badass one-liners Bayek has: His assassination speech over Rudjek, His monologue to the group when they choose to form the hidden ones, when he fights Gamilat (No, here we simply fight) CHILLS My heart also cries for an AC Origins sequel. Got such a tantalizing taste in the Hidden Ones DLC. Again a phenomenal opening with the blind man singing of the legend Bayek. A full game with a seasoned and bearded Bayek who has essentially become Egyptian Batman… How he reunited with Amunent. Feel like there is a massive gap between Origins Hidden Ones and Mirage Hidden Ones that need filled in with lore for the series. Also Valhalla Hidden Ones to AC1 Assassin Brotherhood. Shame we will probably never get it.
Jacob Frye has also a loveinterest. It's Maxwell Roth. The developers even confirmed it. Chapter 8 is the loveinterest chapter for Jacob. (don't forget it. Their relationship is important.)
I never saw it that way, to me its more of a rude awakening for Jacob that someone out there is more chaotic than him, so he tones himself down in the end

11:37 We get an inkling of it. In the end when Ezio visits the vault where Altaïr rests, we hear a voice line where Altaïr shouts "Maria?! Where is she?!" to which Darim responds "She's dead, father. She has been dead for years."
They wouldn't be much higher on the list, since that relationship felt forced and that person had 0 charisma and 0 personality. The only good thing about him was his father.
Regarding Odyssey, Odessa doesn't feel any more important than all the other random romancable characters in the game. But there are two (or four, depending on how you count) meaningful relationships in Odyssey: Kyra/Thaletas, depending on your choice, and the son/daughter of Darius in the DLC, who you actually have a child with. No idea why you find Odessa important.
Too be honest I didn't find Odessa important. Or any of the love interests in Odyssey for that matter. She's just the one I see most Odyssey fans talk about and she's the only one to appear in another game aside from Odyssey. As I said I'm not familar with a lot of the love interests as Odyssey as I didn't pursue most of them, and I'm not very familar with all the romance options in the DLCs. So I decided to do Odessa because she's the one I know the most but I was also pretty much lumping all the Odyssey love interests into that ranking because most of them aren't very important. I do apologize if you feel I left out better options though. Regardless I don't think I would have ranked any of them above where I placed Odessa at number 9 anyway. I hope you still enjoyed the video and are having a good day!
@@masterassassin791 No need to apologize, it's not like I feel offedned or something ;) I definitely agree that almost all the romances in Odyssey are pretty shallow and meaningless and most of them shouldn't even be there in the first place. But the two I mentioned actually have proper questlines and could even make sense irl :P They aren't as deep as the relationships that develop throughout entire storylines in other games, but at least they have decent questlines and some believable character interactions. I personally would rate them somewhat similar to your assessment of Evie and Henry.
For me I'd say it's Maria Thrope, her and Altair's story together in bloodlines was really well told and felt like a natural transition from enemies to lovers.
You should probably do rankings for the Odyssey and Valhalla love interests and then state where the number ones for each game fit into this ranking here.
Couldn’t agree more with these placements! AC revalations was my faviourite game as a kid and I loved Sofia and ezios relationship.. I agree though, gotta be Bayak and aya at #1, they were done so perfectly! I so wish we could have got them as co-main characters! They would have been so much better than Jacob and Evie
Oh yeah I get so many hate comments for Aya in my videos. Usually saying something dumb like 'she broke up with bayek, I hate her.' Thanks for the video. You made some really good points I hadn't thought of.
I think a big issue when it comes to aya is that she wasn't in the game enough. Or at least that the missions with her don't really showcase her mindset on the events very much. So we truly only see her as the one who broke bayek's heart instead of seeing her coming to the realization that the relationship is over no matter how much they'd like it to work
@docomega7862 I think we see her plenty in cutscenes though. But I understand what you're saying. You can see they still love each other in the dlc but they just had more important things to do
@@TheStickz6 we see her in plenty cutscenes byt they're often either from bayek's perspective or from both of them. Most of the cutscenes focusing on her are from the sea missions so they are pretty boring in terms of character development. I think many just showing in flashback missions the 2 assassinations she got on members of the order could be enough to characterize her in a more meaningful way. I like her quite well but she falls in a weird space where she's more than a npc but not enough to be a full second protagonist, so I expect more out of her than I would a regular npc which makes her a bit disapointing
@docomega7862 id love an ancient rome game with her maybe not even as a main character but as she establishes the brotherhood. Id love a full Aya game too but id settle for that
@@TheStickz6 well, a game in ancient rome that would include her would likely be centered around the civil war between mark antony and octavian. But since it starts 11 years after the death of caesar and the end of origins, and ends 15 years after origins with octavian becoming emperor, depending on how old she was in origins, she could be a bit too old to be the main character of the game. The plot would likely be that the hidden ones tried as hard as they could to maintain the republic after caesar died, trying to maintain octavian and mark anthony in a bind for as long as possible. But, mark anthony who was the favorite of the order of ancients is convinced to leave them by cleopatra at some point in the game. So octavian makes an alliance with the order of ancients and gains the advantage. The ending of the game would mostly take place in egypt, giving us a reunion with bayek, where they would try to ensure the death of all 3, cleopatra, anthony and octavian, but only manage to secure the death of anthony and the subsequent suicide of cleopatra. The game would end with octavian and the order having a firm grip on rome, and the hidden ones deciding to expand even further and going even deeper into the shadows
I know you aren’t using expanded universe media for this, but the Black Flag novelisation does explore more of Edward and Caroline’s relationship history (and it’s touched upon in the excerpt for the book that’s accessible in the game). The novelisations are fantastic for fleshing out the love interests and the relationships, Desert Oath depicts how Bayek and Aya meet and the development of their relationship.
Never got why Aya and Bayek broke up, they were both on the same page about what needed to be done, there was no need to break up. Keep in mind that this was ancient times an era where people don't go around “dating” if you got married unless something happens you stay married. And as much as I love Sofia I think Christina will forever be the one in Ezio's heart, their story, especially in brotherhood, was so tragic. (Also I'm a big fan of the Katerina thing, sure it was a fling, but it was very mature and felt like something any adult would be involved in) And then there's Unity, frankly Unity is a love story above all else. I put it above Origins. Sure Bayek and Aya had a healthier relationship overall, but the tension between Arno and Elise was very well crafted. Along with the old, will they won't, they approach, it was obvious they both had the same feelings. It's a shame we never got Edward to be with the redhead at the end of his game, there was something there, and she did become his quartermaster. It might have been too on the nose, but I shipped them nonetheless (no pun intended).
Aya and Bayek didn't really have any relationship outside their revenge and sex after Temu died. Notice how their every interaction only ever has to do with those things. Bayek tries to deepen their bond once or twice - if i remember correctly - but Aya kind of rebuffs him. Regarding Ezio, I feel like each relationship was different, and kind of symbolize where he is in his life. The innocence and tendernes of childhood, the passions of youth and the calmness and serenity of age. I also like how Ezios relationships with Christina and Sofia inversely reflect each other. He neglects Christina in pursuit of his mission, and with Sofia he rejects the never ending mission in pursuit of love and family, finally finding a well deserved peace.

I certenly think that Bayek got the best with Aya/Amunet, because of one simple Line in the "Curse of the Pharaohs" DLC It is, just as you have beaten Ramses the Great, when the Ba of Nefertari delivers the in my opinion most overseen One-Liner when she says: "Ra grant you eternity with your beloved, Bayek" This line gives me the impression, that Bayek and Aya will live forever together in the afterlife. I think it is a so perfect scene, that doesn't get any attention.
Probably should have put Natakas on the list for Kassandra - Aya (and Caesar gets stabbed at least one fewer times….) doesn’t exist without him after all.
if youve ever been in a relationship wit ha toxica before you know exactly why arno and elises dynamic felt like the realist relationship in the series maybe barring sofia and ezio and bayek and aya all 3 explore different types of relationships that humans experience
I’m actually afraid of being a sigma male because I, too, would like to settle down with someone. But as the Creed says, "nothing is true, everything is permitted". Happy Valentine’s Day, Assassins. And good luck with romance…😊
I get that Odyssey isn't that big among older fans/fans of the classics but there are 2 options you could have picked over Odessa, well a one but it depends if you picked Alexios or Kassandra. Alexios and the one who I always play as romances Neema in LEgacy of the First Blade or Kassandra romances Natakas and they have a child together and are the Ancestors of Aya aka Amunet so considering how you feel about them they might've been higher on the list as they are very important to the story.
I was given the choice between master assassin uploading or going on a date (I haven't been on one in over three years) I'd choose master assassin because I am Connor Kenway!
7:13 ."Caterina Sforza was a real figure in history and as we all know Ezio isn't even if we badly want him to be." So trure,we all wished Ezio was a real figure in the history. But it is what it is. Also Happy Valentines to all the Assassins.May you all have a lovely day with your loved ones and remember,"Nothing is true.Everything is Permitted."
The only protagonist romance that’s a big part of Odyssey’s main plot is Neema or Natakas (for Alexios and Kassandra players respectively) in the Legacy of the First Blade DLC, and that’s all that makes them stand out. No matter what choices you make the narrative hits the same plot beats and they get fridged at the start of the third episode to demonstrate how dangerous this incarnation of the Order is (and for the writers to have their cake and eat it by introducing a child of the Eagle Bearer whose bloodline produces Aya whilst writing him out as to not affect the status quo of the base game). The horny old lady is far more memorable!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates the relationship between Arno and Élise. There's a large number of people who just can't appreciate the themes of Unity's story, and I find that unfortunate. I get that it isn't for everyone though.
The actual "main" love interest in Odyssey is part of the Legacy of the First Blade DLC-while how well they handled it is debatable, Natakas/Neema have a full romantic arc throughout the DLC, complete with settling down with the main character and having a kid.
For me No.1 is Sofia, since in Aya's case it just felt like she was too leaned on separation. I'm not saying they shouldn't have separated or anything like that but it just felt like that to me. That's why I don't like that line from Aya in the end, I don't remember the exact line but it was something like," It's like the world doesn't want us to be together", when more than the world, it was more like she is the one who didn't want to be together. Please don't misunderstand, I felt their love for each other, so I'm not saying she didn't want to be together. (Who knows, maybe she wanted some alone time after their revenge was complete?)
I'm still sour that they never followed Arno after Unity. I would have loved to see him come to blows with Napoleon, or to have him Connor and Aveline united in some quest around the War of 1812 or something.

My valentine is a assassin, people here tales of them but nobody ever see’s them
I was wondering about your opinion on Rosa. She was planned to be a love interest for Ezio, but her VA passed away after the release of AC2.
I certenly think that Bayek got the best with Aya/Amunet, because of one simple Line in the "Curse of the Pharaohs" DLC
It is, just as you have beaten Ramses the Great, when the Ba of Nefertari delivers the in my opinion most overseen One-Liner when she says: "Ra grant you eternity with your beloved, Bayek"
This line gives me the impression, that Bayek and Aya will live forever together in the afterlife.
I'm pretty sure Ezio was in love with the girl from Venezia too
Connor love for hunting lee is definitely number 1
0:27 this is why Connor is the most relatable protagonist in franchise
3:34 I died 😂
I’m actually afraid of being a sigma male because I, too, would like to settle down with someone. But as the Creed says, "nothing is true, everything is permitted".
Happy Valentine’s Day, Assassins. And good luck with romance…😊
The main love interest For odyssey is natakas or the other counterpart of that character in the legacy of the hidden blade DLC
You’ve gotta do who is the most attractive assassin judging by charisma, looks, and behavior
AC loves red headed love interests
I was given the choice between master assassin uploading or going on a date (I haven't been on one in over three years) I'd choose master assassin because I am Connor Kenway!
I got a question, do you know the DOLC? Legacy of the first Blate. Assassin's creed
I tried to give my girl companion some food but she denied it. I'm not surprised.
maybe at haloween you can rank the scariest assasin to hunt you?
Gonna preemptively go with Jack on that one.
@@bnkosu I made it way too easy bc I forgot about jack.
7:13 ."Caterina Sforza was a real figure in history and as we all know Ezio isn't even if we badly want him to be." So trure,we all wished Ezio was a real figure in the history. But it is what it is.
Also Happy Valentines to all the Assassins.May you all have a lovely day with your loved ones and remember,"Nothing is true.Everything is Permitted."
great video
Ezio and Christina... remember ac2 and brotherhood, she marked him... they should have em in ac2
I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates the relationship between Arno and Élise. There's a large number of people who just can't appreciate the themes of Unity's story, and I find that unfortunate. I get that it isn't for everyone though.
Interesting thing that you used The Witcher 3's background sound in this video.
2:12 a technical your step sister lol
*sweet home alabama*
What are you doing Step-Templar?
Master Assassin, I will fight you for putting Cristina so low on the list.
Great video tho, as always.
