This couldn't come at a better time. Ajj recorded a covered a special song for my mother and me when she was diagnosed with vbrain cancer during their covid livestream shows.. she passed last month and I've been meaning to reach out. We have a venue at our farm in between burlington and waterdown, if you ever come to Canada, it's south 1.5 hrs of Toronto. You are more than welcome to utilize to your hearts content. I will most likely email you guys, you guys are the best. ❤
sorry for your loss! I think it's really beautiful you could share this music with your mom and with the band - and now us in the comments. p.s. im also like an hour and a half south of toronto so when this show happens I'll def be trying to buy tickets
sorry for the long comment, but when i first heard this song & disposable everything i think i cried more than i have in a long time. i've been listening to this band since i was a kid and now i'm about to be 22. i've watched you grow as i've grown myself. during the lockdowns i watched almost all of the quarantine streams and sean's talent made me want to pick up a guitar for myself. i'm still a beginner but i'm having so much fun with it and i have AJJ to thank for inspiring me. your music has been with me through the most traumatizing and the most wonderful moments of my life and i hope one day i'll be able to make music that makes other people feel this way :')
Don't mean to overshare to a bunch of online bozos but your music has helped me get through some tough shit. Whether it was a divorce, a personal bad breakup, or just coming to terms with who I am and my emotions, the music you guys produce helped me through it all. Stay safe and thanks again.
This is a song you hear flipping through the channels when you're like, 10 years old. The video is just strange enough for it to stick around, and no one ever knows what you're talking about when you seldom bring it up. But later in your life you've finally hummed the chorus enough times to remember a few words and rediscover it.
Man. This album dropped 20 days after I got locked up for the first time. I'm thankful af to be out before the end of the year but I can't help but feel guilty for anticipating this album so much while I was in jail. Knew it had to be coming out soon and hear I am now on the edge of my seat still because I refuse to give it a full listen til I have a cheapish pair of earbuds. Following the long standing tradition of waiting years for their albums and then not finding out about the release until a week to a month after due to random hardships. But I absolutely fucking love this band, and Sean especially for the Covid concerts. Glad I got to see them in my hometown before a tornado took out the venue not long after.
Every song on this album released thus far has been a fully realized, unique experience. While I enjoyed the last couple AJJ albums, there were moments that felt like missed opportunities or rehashed concepts on several songs whereas this song (along with White Ghosts, Dissonance, and especially Disposable Everything) are the tightest, most adventurous, and most songwriter-centric the band had sounded. Ever. They’ve “matured” into their new skin while retaining the humor and sadness of their best material in the past. I couldn’t be more excited for the album.
Greetings from Detroit! I saw you guys at the Masonic Temple the other night and bought a shirt after the show. I loved your sound and attitude and quirkiness; you guys fuckin rocked it. Now, I'm checking your catalog out and really enjoying what i'm finding. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine. You guys have a big new fan who's already got a t-shirt. Hope you keep following your musical journey! ✌️🤘
For me, it's one of your weirdest songs. I don't know if i like it or not, but i love seeing you guys experiment with new sounds ;> Ps. Sean, you look amazing in that suit :3
God, every song for this album just keeps getting better and better! The sax solo knocks me out every time. Can't wait to hear the other songs for the album, this is just so good!
Can't wait to see y'all really soon live! It's been my dream to see you live for years, and im so happy you have one near where I live. I love the new album
It's definitely different. I do love your darker songs like hate rain on me, but this chillin lullaby for acid trips gets a pass in my book because Ily guys soooo much, and your music was a major conductor in my spiritual awakening. ❤ I'll forever be grateful and full of excited energy towards y'all and Rj aka the urge for getting me on the path of being my own God and Master. 🎉❤😻👁️🐇🫷
Dear AJJ! You have alone inspired my partner and me, and when we get married we’re going to save and save and try to get you to play for us. As we walk down the isle together and finally have our candles of love 🤍
@@rowanredwood9316 Haha It happens occasionally. I started listening to AJJ when I was still a very bigoted, Christian, conservative. Here I am 3 years later no longer bigoted, and I'm now a political activist in the red desert of California. We are trying our hardest to flip it BLUE. 💙 As for the Christian part, I have completely deconstructed, now I'm a spiritual guide that helps others get free from the cult of Christianity.

The disappointment I felt when the sax player was not Jeff rosenstock
I thought it was Brace Belden for a moment and wondered why he was there
This was such a beautiful song until you decided to get all WOKE at the end!😡
@@wayneprebor2245 taking things seriously is very important.
a bigot who listens to ajj seems unlikely imo, they are joking but it's okay not to get that no fighting in ajj comments they're too good
