As a console Hux player this rework has been probably the single best thing ever for singularity. I am falling in love with him all over again and I'm so much happier with him. The aim assist might not be too big a help for PC players but for me it is like the missing link
Do I just play normal or is there something I have to do for auto aim? I’m a console player as well and I love Hux, I’m just not sure if I have to press a certain button to use the auto aim
They removed the auto aim for now, it'll come back soon in the bugfix patch with an option to not use it. He's talking about the aim assist on the arm gun. It's much better at locking onto survivors or pod locations now.

honestly a pretty reasonable belief. nobody ever touches this killer, yet alone enough people to know about the tech period, and those who do wouldn't want to report it to begin with.
@@ragggoon The tech also isnt really unfair since its kinda hard to manage the cams and its really easy to go into the wrong cam if ur not precise enough making the tech useless cuz by the time u found the right cam the normal cooldown already passed

The biggest things for me that have made him easier is the subtle things like killer instinct so I don’t have to remember where the camera was, also the last camera you use turns yellow, the biggest thing for me has been base kit sound on the cameras being able to hear people is helping so much, the auto aim never interested me he was hit scan anyway.

There are too many fun addons that I can use now, like the 4+ contagious range, the camera addons(like this video plus addon of 2 more cameras), the status effects addons, etc., I really love the changes to this killer. I’m having a lot of fun playing him
It was the same with one of the add-on for the knight which would increase the detection range for the guard by 4 meters. At first I thought it was a really bad add-on but when I actually tried it, it was game changing. It would go from not detecting a lot by detecting someone almost all the time.
It's my go-to add-on since the patch (mostly paired with the -15% CD after applying a biopod on a survivor, or the one that makes survivor scream if cleanses, using that one with Infectious Fright)
BHVR made a lot of good browns lately. Trickster's Memento blades, Ghostface's philly and matchstick box are brown. Not sure if it's good to have THE best addon for a killer be brown.
Singularity feels so good to play now, as a controller player. Specifically teleporting with the arm gun is way less frustrating. I actually like the different color UI, didnt think much of the change but in game its pretty helpful.
i just started with dbd a week ago. and i know people say singularity is probably the hardest character. but im dedicated to learn this killer. the playstyle looks so fun. i already baught it. but a bit anxious to bring it currently. atm i get so many genrushing, bodyblocking, flashlight spamming survivors, i sometimes even struggle on my main. so i might practice the muscle memory a bit vs bots first. thanks for your videos, they are an amazing help!
Honestly, I've always said Singularity is an incredibly strong killer in the hands of a player who really knows how to utilize his power aided by the fact that not a lot of survivors really know how to effectively counter him. The update didn't really change that, but it made it significantly easier to utilize his power. However, if more people start to use him, it actually might hinder his effectiveness when more and more survivor players learn how to counter him.

Great content! Been trying to learn Hux like crazy, and I love him especially after this rework. My only problem i'm having is whenever I get Midwich, I feel like I can't do anything about it as Hux, since the restrictions to the line-of-sight requirements on that map are horrible. Also this rework really has allowed more add ons to be used besides just soma.
Glad to see you’re enjoying the update Coco! I run the live wires addon now on your recommendation and it’s been putting in some serious work. This is the change Hux needed, 5/5 stars. BHVR broke what felt like everything else in this patch, but our meatball finally feels like he works without losing any of his trademark complexity. Solos are getting blindsided because they don’t understand how to play against him, but that will even out in due time. The only way it could have been better would be if a) they fixed the annoying audio bug where you keep hearing pod sounds after exiting it and b) he had some way to reboot EMP’d pods that get shut down by switching to them. (You mean to tell me Hux doesn’t have a simple power off/on button?) The real challenge will be seeing if these changes are enough to make him viable against high-level 4 man SWFs. I would like to see you make a video focusing on how to challenge these coordinated teams, as well as bully squads, as many new Singu players might not know how to recognize them in lobby or combat them effectively.

as an up incoming singularity main watching has been amazing learning tips and tricks, ps i also love the changes allows me to have a easier time hitting survivors with the tp so i love the changes.
The changes have the same feel as Blight quality of life improvements few years back. I think the killer was S tier to begin with, but he wasn’t recognised, because of how janky he felt to play.
I actually have noticed servers being hella choppy recently. I’ve always had this thing where I’m never pissed at how ppl act in game, what they bring, map offering, etc. I’m almost at something out of my control like ping
actually, i used that addon when i was still a learning singularity, kinda loved it but i noticed that in indoor maps it would just do nothing of difference, and i wouldnt stop getting indoor maps.

When mastered and in the right hands he’s probably on the same level as spirit and Chucky sitting in A+ damn near S tier but he’s for sure top 7 killer in the game imo the list right now is nurse, Billy, blight, spirit, Chucky, singu, artist(maybe could switch singu with Chucky)
I personally love the changes and I love sing more than any other killer, been maining him for a while and your content helps me stay with him. I didn’t play for about a month and I was finding it hard to play him but I stuck with him and now with these changes I’m winning most of my games, recently hit P12 and I hope to be P100 like you some day, thank you for your amazing content coco
When switching to a cam and aiming at a survivor, it automatically starts slipstreaming them and will slipstream the target automatically on its own.. is this as intended? It felt strange to me
They definitely buffed some aspects he did not "need". However, he definitely needed the base kit haste. I really enjoyed playing him originally, but good teams with emps on indoor/indoorish maps was what really killed my enjoyment for the killer and these changes do help with that. So, even if he got some changes he did not need I have no complaints. I do not think he is S tier though but its still a little early to tell.

Hey Coco I've been trying a new build with the new buffs of this patch and I had lots of fun and I even was pretty successful against good players who had good communication. Would be cool if you would try it out and give your opinion as a P100 Singularity main. You might even be able to perform better with it than me. It's Trail of torment, dragons grip, oppression and overcharge. Thinking about changing overcharge but the amount of times they fucked up the skill check because of the screaming of dragons grip or scaring them because I am undectable is just perfect. They even have to mind game if you are ok cams or not since you are undectable and they have no LoS to you. Even got me a down because the person thought I was checking cams and tried to leave the tile

Wanted to ask if youve noticed anything about the chainball mechanic changing? I feel like i end up much further behind survivors than i used to. And often get stuck just around corners.

Soma Family Photo is now partially basekit so Hux gets a 3 percent speed boost after tp which is 2 percent slower than running family photo before this patch so he is slightly slower
How do you slip stream survivors so quickly 1:12 ? I thought you had to wait for it to automatically lock on and tag a survivor. Anytime I click a button to try and shoot it myself (when viewing from the bipods), I just end up switching cameras or something.
Guess you could try to replace pain res with machine learning to make it harder for you and faster IF they get a gen conpleted. Also theme makes sense. Just an idea :)

Personally I think the killer instinct is great for non Larry mains. Playing him could be a bit disorienting coming out of a biopod; you loose your bearings easily.
I feel a little sad, I feel like the changes is there to make Larry more "noob friendly", they killed the cam tech, which was a nice skill move to pull off

As a console Hux, I have absolutely NO complaints! It feels AMAZING to not be so add-on (Soma Family Photo) dependent! I’m having the time of my life with a main I was forced to drop because of the meta, and now he’s finally on the rise! Three cheers for The Sinularity, for Hux! 🎉🎉🎉
Killer instinct isn't that strong. As far as I remember, Singularity got a purple add-on, allow him to see survivors aura for 8s when they're infected by a biopod or by another survivor. You can extend the aura reading using the Nemesis Perk (Lethal something) to increase the aura reading at 10s. And the killer instinct show where the survivor is every "pom-pom" thing. So it's not strong like the aura reading
All his hits apply mangled even overlocked hits, I’d say it’s worth it, survivors can heal each other whilst infected unless they want to infect each other.
I think they made singularity better and more accessible for console players which I actually enjoy playing him more now with the aim assist is a big help.

Gate cams can be 8m further apart which is a big deal too (Idk if you said this, I'm only 4 minutes in)

Midwich is almost as bad as Hawkins. Singularity loses a lot of his potential on indoor maps.

If you want harder games you may change to some meme build. It seems like Surge and Painres did a lot of damage to survivors morale.

I feel like i end up much further behind survivors than i used to. And often get stuck just around corners.
I’ve noticed that too in certain areas. It seems that if the survivor hugs certain areas tight enough the chain ball with get stuck.
Keep posting the dominant wins, youtube is full of tough matches but I love to see people rage quit, I did not even know this killer existed so keep up the good work man

I have the feeling that when in overclock, after you tp up to a surv, you are slower than before. maybe only my perception
Soma Family Photo is now partially basekit so Hux gets a 3 percent speed boost after tp which is 2 percent slower than running family photo before this patch so he is slightly slower
How do you slip stream survivors so quickly 1:12 ? I thought you had to wait for it to automatically lock on and tag a survivor. Anytime I click a button to try and shoot it myself (when viewing from the bipods), I just end up switching cameras or something.
I just flicked really fast so the scan happened quickly. You can’t manually shoot in the cams, you have to just aim it at them
Guess you could try to replace pain res with machine learning to make it harder for you and faster IF they get a gen conpleted. Also theme makes sense.

Personally I think the killer instinct is great for non Larry mains. Playing him could be a bit disorienting coming out of a biopod; you loose your bearings easily.
Love these changes. The Killer Instinct is wonderful, imo, as I would always get confused and turned around when playing him lol. No more!
Bring map offerings to tougher maps and run Larry on them! So I can learn how to pod up different maps 😂
I feel a little sad, I feel like the changes is there to make Larry more "noob friendly", they killed the cam tech, which was a nice skill move to pull off

about the addons -i am using both aura addons sometime,sometimes the green addon for exhaust + fearmonger and i want to try new addon combos.about the killer instinct-they added it so more than 3 people can play singularity and enjoy him.not everyone are on your lvl on this killer you know that right ?she is giving up and your slugging ,wtf is this play???
As a console Hux, I have absolutely NO complaints! It feels AMAZING to not be so add-on (Soma Family Photo) dependent! I’m having the time of my life with a main I was forced to drop because of the meta, and now he’s finally on the rise! Three cheers for The Sinularity, for Hux! 🎉🎉🎉

For me lary is one of my best killers. Billy, lary, artist, and the two heads are my best killers.
Killer instinct isn't that strong. As far as I remember, Singularity got a purple add-on, allow him to see survivors aura for 8s when they're infected by a biopod or by another survivor. You can extend the aura reading using the Nemesis Perk (Lethal something) to increase the aura reading at 10s.
And the killer instinct show where the survivor is every "pom-pom" thing. So it's not strong like the aura reading

All his hits apply mangled even overlocked hits, I’d say it’s worth it, survivors can heal each other whilst infected unless they want to infect each other.
Idk if it’s just me but the overclock duration feels mad short, also I’m addicted to the ball glove add on its so strong!
I think they made singularity better and more accessible for console players which I actually enjoy playing him more now with the aim assist is a big help.
