It's proof that there are Chinese watchmakers who love watches and want to be creative. It's better than the big brands' "special editions". As a lover of watches and capitalism (note- not monopoly capitalism, I mean capitalism that spurs competition), I feel that the entry of these innovative Chinese products can only be beneficial when it comes to the quality and price.

Beautiful well made watch..viva China .Viva Seagull. I am fed up of Swiss Herd . More than two hundred years of monopoly , is too much for me . Enough is enough.

Seagull's ST19 is a copy of an outdated Swiss movement. It is cheap but of a very questionable quality - mine broke within days. Good for training of wannabe watchmakers..

You may be a little naive if you believe that. Are you aware that many, most "Swiss" watches contain maybe 40% or more of their components made in China...

If you want to avoid buying products that have not involved slave labour, then you have to examine the entire supply chain and not simply be triggered.

I have seen a lot of people praise this watch and it is great value, but it is a complete copy. Its just a copy of an unknown old model from a brand influencers dont really like that much. Google Maurice Lacroix 28505. Its an old reference from Masterpiece collection. The font is the same, the diameter is the same, dial finish is the same. They only made different color schemes. I believe even the movement is copied. Ml did it by taking old Peseux 7030 manual winding and developing a jumping. Chinese copied the Peseux 7030 then copied jumping hour module for it. I dont know who started the rumor this is original, and I cant say if it was malicious intentions or lack of knowledge...

I wouldn't doubt it. the quality and materials they use. Titanium , Stainless steel and if you're lucky Bronze. along with Automatic movements and darn near identical dials with "sterile" options. Top Notch builds.

Hey John Cena, great job shilling that cheap chinese GARBAGE! Its hilarious how the jumping hour 'jumps' over 30 seconds early and the finish looks absolutely horrible once the camera goes in close. I like a salmon dial but I'll take the cheapest Sieko 5 over this ticking turd any day of the week...
