This video is the GOAT! Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. So detailed and easy to follow. Email marketing has been so confusing to me, until today. 🖤
Thank you for putting this together. Really a FANTASTIC tutorial/course. It's amazing how much you covered in 2 hours, but the pace was fantastic. It held my attention because I knew if I looked away I would miss something! GREAT WORK.
Amazing Tutorial! Thank you very much, it is one of the best explained ones out there: Precise, on point and super comprehensive. 10/10 would watch again!
Yeah it's tricky and Klaviyo hasn't got it set yet. I recommend checking out apps.shopify.com/email-templates, might save some time and coding challenges.
First I watched your video a month ago as a newbie i didn't understand. Now i have some knowledge about klaviyo and return to your vedio and realized this vedio is a Goat of klaviyo email marketing 😅
Working my way thru the tutorial as great level of detail. As an FYI I am using woocommerce but the process is almost identical. Just at the embedding forms bit which will be different as I use Oxygen builder.
G'day!! Just amazing video! I've done Klaviyo Live trainings, recorded trainings and certifications on the website. This is a notch above and a great help. A quick question at minute 24:20 regarding "New Editor Quick Start Template." When I click on create new template, I get these choices -Themed -Basic -Import -My Templates -Shopify Notification Templates There's no "Use new editor" option to build Master Template. Did I miss something? Thanks so much! Denise
G'day to you Denise! Thanks so much for the feedback! You haven't missed anything, Klaviyo has updated a few things including this screen since I recorded this video and removed the option to use the old editor, everything is in the new editor now. I recommend that you either a) find a Themed template that is close to what you want, or b) use one of the basic layouts if you want to start with a blank slate.
One quick follow up. I've been getting an error message when I've added the SMS sign up. Do I need some third party app to enable SMS. I'm based in the US. Thank you! Denise
Thank you! Sorry for the long delay in new videos. I promise there will be many more in 2024, and we'll get better at updating them as Klaviyo continues to update their interface.
Hi @Email Experts, this is a really good video, but I'm stuck and watch this back a few times now. At 20:11 I just can't figure out how you got the little text box to appear. I've clicked everything to try and get there. Could you please help? Thank you.
Hi Chrissie, sorry we skipped a bit in the edit. From 20:06, click "Add blocks", then (20:10) drag the text block into the place above the form element. I hope this helps!
Hi Mehmet, It's possible that you need to have data in your account of someone opening with MPP before it will populate. Proceed with setting up a flow, use a Apple Device with MPP turned on if you have one, and that should populate it into the account and show it in the dropdown. I hope this helps!
I'm brand new to Klaviyo. In my email audience segment at the very end Has "subscribed to list" is not an option in the drop down. Thanks so much for your help. The video was very helpful.
I'm so glad it was helpful! If it's not an option yet, maybe proceed with the tutorial. Circle back, often the data isn't available in the dropdowns until there is real data in the account to populate the dropdown.
Thanks so much for the video! Not sure I'm understanding why we need an additional list called "Website Signups"? Isn't that list redundant with the built-in "Newsletter" list?
@@emailexperts I can't locate one comment on this question. In fact, if you search this page for "newsletter" my question is the only place it appears. Can you provide a quick explanation? I really appreciate it!
You're very welcome. Check out our video about deliverability here: ua-cam.com/video/wmKxNs9styE/v-deo.html Let me know if you have any other questions about deliverability and spam!
Hey there, great video. I've reached 47:00 but don't receive any emails. I've just looked at the profile's that would be receiving them, and under 'Schedule' 'Sent' 'Skip' there is nothing there, so I'm guessing that means the Welcome flow isn't getting sent out. I have the correct trigger selected, and also have it set to Live. Any other ideas? Thank you
Hi Rely, that's peculiar. Try these steps if you haven't yet (some may apply to other readers): 1. Test the Flow trigger from the List. After setting up the list, welcome series, and making it live, click "Quick add" in the list. Add an email address and check if the series triggers. Wait 2-3 minutes, then examine the profile. If the email was sent but not received, it could be in the spam folder. If not sent, possible issues include: a) inactive flow, b) time delay in flow, c) flow filter or trigger filter, d) smart sending, or e) another issue. 2. Check the popup functionality by submitting the form and verifying if you're added to the list. If not, potential reasons are a) double opt-in enabled, b) popup linked to a different list, or c) another issue. If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact Klaviyo support and explain the attempted solutions. www.klaviyo.com/support
Im at 1:09:00 where Im setting up a campaign, & its says to pull from the email audience list. I don't have one setup to link - is there a video on how to setup that up or did I miss a step within this video?
Thanks for the idea Celine! I hear a lot about comparison videos, the issue is that I would want to be fair to all companies and I just know so much more about Klaviyo, so at this stage I recognise my bias and can't be fair. As I learn more about other companies, i'll look into it.

Hello thank you for the video! @12:53 i dont see the “Subscribed to List” metric as an option on mines, what can i do? You videos have been really helpful.
Hi Jkingstar, I'm not sure why it's not coming up. It's possible that you need to have data in your account of someone subscribing before it will populate. Proceed with setting up a flow, use a real email address when you test the popups, and that should populate it into the account and show it in the dropdown. I hope this helps!
A Brilliant Tutorial. Thank you. Please can I ask you, when I create a coupon for my First Buyer Customers , for example, and I create discount on my Shopify Store, will they work together or either this or that? Thank you
Hey, great question. Shopify checkouts can only have one discount code applied at a time. Depending on how you apply a sale to your store, sales can stack with other discounts, but not with other discount codes.
@@emailexperts Hi Thank you for your reply. Please could you elaborate more on "....sales can stack with other discounts, but not with other discount codes.". Thank you
Sure. At the checkout, only 1 code can be applied at once. So if a customer has 2 codes, they need to pick which øne to use. Separately, when you run a sale, usually you will apply a price reduction on the products you have on sales. However, sometimes, insteaf of running a sale in this way, instead the store will auto apply a discount *code* to the checkout (not a discount on the price itself), that applies the discount *at the checkout*. If you do this (code discount for a sale), then any other code to send to customers can't also be applied. To your original question - when I create a coupon for my First Buyer Customers , for example, and I create discount on my Shopify Store, will they work together or either this or that? - what do *you want* to happen? Either can be achieved, it depends on what you want.
At 17:13 you talk about sign up forms... On my klaviyo account, I don't have the option to make signup forms under content. It goes "templates" to "products" nothing in between. Do I need to do something to enable sign up forms?
@@emailexperts I have been searching but thus far, no effective solution! There are some outdated ones using translation marketplace. Nothing that leverages modern tools.

This video is amazing, thank you!! I've been struggling to get Klaviyo setup trying waiting to prep an import contact list from Keap (which doesn't have an integration) and the data doesn't play nice. I'm running WooCommerce, but this will help my business so much. Thanks again!

Hi thank you so much for the detailed video, i was just wondering if you would know why it would not send the welcome email with discount code once customer has signed up
Hi there, thanks for your kind words. For the welcome email, there are a couple of points where it could be getting stopped: 1. Make sure that you have double opt in turned off 2. Make sure the email address is being added to the list 3. Make sure the list is connected to the flow 4. Make sure the flow doesn't have a filter that could be stopping the email. I hope this helps, let me know once you've tried these, where you are getting stuck.
Hey! Amazing video. I have no subscribers. Brand new store. I'm wondering if I should just set up the email engagement rules straight away anyway so I don't have to come back to it? EDIT: I was trying to set it up and I don't have the options of apple privacy open or subscribed to list... it that normal as a new store?
Hi Tom, thank you for your kind words about our video. We're glad you found it helpful. Regarding your question, we recommend setting up email engagement rules right away, even if you don't have any subscribers yet. This is because any new segments should be a clone of that segment, which will better future proof it. Regarding your concern about not seeing the options of apple privacy open or subscribed to list, this is normal as a new store. These options will only appear after the data exists in the account, meaning only after one of your subscribers opens with apple privacy opens.
Thank you so much! One question @14:25 my page reads Collect Subscribers vs Suscribtions. I can chose one option, but no second option for SMS. Any idea why?
Great video. Question: when syncing Shopify subscribers to Klaviyo why check out sign ups is the list you recommend? Wouldn't website sign ups make more sense?
@@emailexperts I think I figured it out. I have a problem though. My premade Shopify template has an email sign up form in the footer. Sign ups from there doesn't flow to Klaviyo. They go straight to Shopify customers. What do you recommend I do with that section? I don't want to monitor 2 email platforms. Delete it or is there a way to add a Klaviyo embedded form without going into the code editor?
Check with the theme developer to see if they will show you a way to connect it to Klaviyo. If it were me, I would try to delete it or replace it with the Klaviyo form.
@@emailexperts Thanks for your reply. In the meantime I figured it out, footer Shopify email sign up form will automatically sync with Klaviyo if integration is set up already. I had to update my integration, but it works perfectly.
It does, but the issue I have with that is that it syncs to the same list as the checkout subscribers. So if you want it to trigger the welcome series, so set it up to a different list, it won't work with the standard integration.
Hi, thank you for this valuable tutorial. I'm a copywriter looking to get into the e-commerce space with email marketing. The only thing that has my concern with the ecom brand is that they have to use more templates than a real copy, where I can reach my customers from different angles and pain points. Can you give me advice about how I should use my copywriting style in this new industry for me? Do I have to use templates?
Thanks for your comment! I understand your concern. In ecommerce email marketing, templates are indeed a core part of the workflow. But the real power comes from combining a strong template with impactful copy. Templates help ensure consistency in design and branding, but your skill as a copywriter makes each email resonate uniquely with customers. Think of templates as the foundation - they provide structure, but it's your words that bring each email to life. You can still address different pain points and customer angles by writing targeted, effective copy within those templates. Each email can focus on a specific pain point or benefit. For example, you could create an email that highlights how a product solves a specific problem, another that shares a customer success story, and another that explains how to use or care for the product. I'd recommend moving away from charging by the word and instead, think about charging per email or per campaign. This approach aligns your value to the client's goals - creating the most effective communication, whether it's a few sharp sentences or a detailed breakdown. Templates are tools, not limitations. They make sure your message reaches the right audience with a consistent look, while your copy ensures each message resonates. Hope this helps as you get started in ecommerce!
@@emailexperts @emailexperts Thank you very much for taking time to respond to my comment with such value, just one question: how many emails should i write for brands on weekly basis? In the info-product we had 3 emails a week, one of them is promotional but it was structured differently We had a system behind this promotional email. if the already subscriber engaged with it, We moved him automatically to the email campaign and started receiving emails to watch VSL... If he don't engage or don't open the email at all, he keeps receiving the weekly email without noticing we had a promotion on going It was a system well structured, The other thing is, How much should I charge? and come up with an offer based on your experience in this e-commerce industry.
Hey Isaac, sorry I can't give advice about the specific strategy for different brands and the price will depend on the country, quality and industry. I'll consider your feedback when i get back into making more videos soon.
Thank you for this! Only thing I want to ask is, is there anyway to increase the speed that the email comes through as currently its taking 6 minutes from the sign up to the discount code being sent?
Really appreciate your video I’m just having a few problems on certain things it’s asking me. Like putting in a disclosure block above the sms opt in button I’m not understanding how to insert it
@@emailexperts thanks for the response I figured it out. I’m really thankful for your video. The email template it doesn’t give me an option for old/new
Is there anyway I can still do your set up if I don’t have the option for the new version. I did it for the email part the way you set it up. But the abandon cart when you have the two windows open one with the old version and the new version how is possible if I only have the old.
Hi Marcus, are you sure that the one you have open is the old one? I’m pretty sure Klaviyo has started giving you the option only to use the new one if anything.
Amazing video! One thing I'm confused with when it comes to filters on the Welcome flow email is: shouldn't the filter be "Placed an order zero times over all time" instead of "Placed an order zero times since starting this flow"? What if someone signs up to the pop up after having already made a purchase? Thanks
Hi @lailazouaki, you bring up an excellent point! You're absolutely right that the filter "Placed an order zero times over all time" could work well in certain scenarios, especially for an exclusive first-time buyer's discount. The reason we used "Placed an order zero times since starting this flow" in the video is to allow more flexibility for different types of offers. For instance, if the Welcome flow email includes a valuable resource like an e-book or other promotional material, we wouldn't want to exclude existing subscribers who have already made a purchase. You've pointed out a nuanced aspect of email flows, which we couldn't delve into due to time constraints in the video. It really depends on the specific goals and strategies of your flow. I hope this clarifies things a bit, and thanks again for your thoughtful question!
@@emailexperts thank you so so much for clarifying so thoughtfully! This makes total sense. It sounds like in a perfect world, I would have a different welcome flow depending on these two scenarios to make sure everyone gets the compelling offer while acknowledging the different context - but I'm sure this increases complexity and work! Anywho, appreciate you so much for the great video and quick response :)
Hi AnnBits, that's a big question, thanks for the idea, we will add that to the list of things we'll make a video of. You can AB test Campaigns, Flows and Forms, which is most important to you right now?
Hi, if you followed every step, and you’re unable to find the section in your Shopify theme, it may be a limitation of the theme. I recommend reaching out to the theme developer, in my experience they are very supportive in integrating Klaviyo.
Great video, thanks! What is the benefit of having separate lists by sign-up method instead of one single main list? We have 7000 profiles in our main list but it is not separated by sign-up methods and I am finding it hard to get my head around it. How do we fix this issue now, is there a way to separate the lists or should we keep going with one? Should the checkout signups who opted in to email marketing also go in the welcome flow or is the welcome flow to only these people who signed up to get the offer? Is there another video on your channel that goes in-depth about lists/segments? If yes then please share the link :) Thank you so much!
I would love to find out your recommended timing for 3rd email in the abandoned cart flow? We have currently set them up as 30 minutes, 20 hours and 3 days. Thank you 😊
Hi helin, this space is about to change. So please stand by: help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/18924427069979 This is rolling out to accounts over the next few weeks.
Thank you for your insightful video sir. But I have a question, when I create an abandonment cart flow and I switch to new editor for the first email, the table you talked about for abandoned cart's products is already there. Is it an update from Klaviyo or do I still need to copy/paste the codes you showed?
Hi Mona Liss, oh good, just run a test, abandon a cart yourself, and if it works, then you're right, you don't need to change it. It might be a recent update from Klaviyo.
Hey Shaun. Thanks for this video, it's helped me greatly with my client work. I had one question though, is it necessary to turn on UTM tracking if my client only uses in-built Klaviyo analytics?
Hey there, thank you so much! There's no downside to turning on UTM tagging, and if you turn it on, you can always go back to review the data later if you like. If you don't turn it on, you can't ever go back since the data won't be collected. Personally, when clients only use Klaviyo reporting, I advise them to also use GA, but it's ultimately their choice.
@emailexperts Okay that makes sense. Sounds like I should take a deeper dive into GA myself if it's potentially a useful recommendation for my clients. Thanks for the response! 🙏
Im having a hard time creating the abandoned cart series- when I click on the same option as you to create a flow, on the prerequisites its saying "We have not yet received any added to cart- contact our success team" it won't let me click create flow
Hi Charnise, there are many steps to this process. So check each of these. 1. Check that the form is connected to the list 2. Test the form; add an email address to the form and see if it's added to the list (this is the most common issue, you might need to remove double opt in) 3. If the email is going to the list, check that the list is connected to the flow. 4. Check the rules of the flow to make sure no rule is blocking the email from going out 5. Search the email address to see if the welcome email was sent. If it was sent it might have gone to the spam folder. I hope something in my response helps!
I have a question about the fact you chose "check out sign up" list rather than "website sign up" list when sync integration with Shopify , why is that? in this case for example in the welcome series the default audience is website sign up, then I will have no one included into my welcome series since all sign up from shopify are all go into "check out sign up" list?
Hey @fengxu1130, sorry to do this to you, but there have been so many discussions about this in the comments of this video already. Check those out and let me know if you still have further questions.
You could do this if you want. I don't for my clients. The issue with using using the default footer form is that then every subscriber will to be put into a single list, regardless of the signup source. I prefer to keep the checkout signups distinctive from the footer/popup signups. If you're not bothered, then you can set it up, but then the section on segments won't be as applicablae. If you want to follow all of our future videos, it will make more sense if you use separate lists.
How do I do I do this on my Wordpress website that is intergrated with woocommerce? especially the pop up forms, the embedded form and the checkout form.
I have a list of peoples emails I'd love to add to my email audience that I created like you said, is there a way to add them to the list I already created?
Sure thing. When you open a list, in the top right menu click "import contacts", and you can import them there. Just a) turn off any flow triggered from this list, otherwise it will send when they're imported, and b) make sure you have legal permission to email them. ☺️
How do I get a number that is valid to use when signing up for sms it’s not letting me use my phone number do I need a business phone number is something ?
Hi Lumar, for the free numbers, in Canada and USA, Klaviyo will assign you a toll-free number, you can't choose it, and in Australia and the UK, you choose the 11 character alphanumeric. If you want, you can choose a vanity short code that is 7 chacters long, but it will cost extra.
Thanks. :) I'm about to make my first paid newsletter site and I'm thinking of trying the yith woocommerce subscription plugin with Klaviyo. And how can I make it so that the newsletters are sent only to subscribers@@emailexperts

Hi Tawa, here’s the guidance for that: help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001396711-How-to-create-an-Added-to-Cart-event-for-Shopify. That said, the browse abandon is even better, so if you have browse abandon you don’t need “add to cart”. See 59:53
Thanks for the question. In the latest version of Klaviyo, when you set up your segment, you'll see these options: What someone has done (or not done) Properties about someone If someone is or is not within the EU (GDPR) Someone's proximity to a location If someone is in or not in a list
@@emailexperts I'm trying to setup my abandoned cart flow but the only checkout abandonment trigger that I see has an SMS attached to it not email alone like yours
Hi Khalil, they should receive only the abandon CHECKOUT email if they did both. When you set up the Abandon Browse email you set a flow filter so that they have started to check out zero times, this filter is to ensure that they get the event and check out on as a priority. As per 1:00:36, they will get a browse abandon ONLY IF they don't start a checkout. Great Question!
@@emailexperts I understand. I decided not to create a conditional split. Instead of offering a discount code on both instances I decided to just warn the customer. Instead, I’ll offer discount codes with sms. Hopefully that will be effective. Thank you for your feedback!
Hello, for some reason I did everything leading up to around 47:00 minute mark but my email won't send. I check my email and nothing. Could you tell me what's wrong? Do i have to make a campaign for the email to be properly sent?
Hi Premvir, I can't know for sure without more information, but here's how I investigate the issue: 1. The Email may have gone to the spam folder 2. The Email may have not sent 3. The Email may have not been received by the server On point 1. Check your spam folder, if it's in there, move it to the inbox and check your spam settings. On points 2 & 3, (if it wasn't in the spam folder), check that the email address exists in Klaviyo. at 22:20, I show how to look up a profile. Search the test email address you use, and find the profile. If the profile doesn't exist, then it hasn't submitted to Klaviyo properly. If it does exist, then check out the profile. In the top right, click "Messages", where Klaviyo will show you the messages the customer should have receive, under "Scheduled", "Sent", and "Skipped", that will tell you more about where the email is. Let me know how you go.
@@emailexperts I actually figured out the issue I was using the wrong list for my flow. Took me 30 minutes to figure that out 🤦♂lol. Btw loved the video was very informative and straight to the point thank you!
Great question! Both will feed into Klaviyo however you can have them feeding into separate Lists. The sign ups from the "coming soon" page are connected via the Shopify integration; so the subscribers will go to whichever list you connect Shopify. When you set up an embed form, you can choose the list, and if you follow this tutorial from start to end, it will be a different list. You can make a segment that incorporates both.
Hi Charnise, it might be a temporary issue. I'm seeing this with some of my clients today. If it doesn't resolve, please come back and leave a comment.

Hi Ibnuuu, thanks, that's a very common question. You could export out an image and just import it as an image, a lot of fashion brands do this, but you'll be sacrificing email deliverability and customer experience. It's much better to build the email within the editor. That way, you have 'live' text that can be accessed by users using screen readers or who use their phone or other emails apps to translate text.
@@emailexperts I've already split my images but still have difficulties on putting my link inside the image's button. Is there any solution to select the designated button to put link on it? I hope my sentence make sense to you. Thanks a lot!
It sounds like you are having issues with layers, is that accurate? I'll give some points and hopefully something is helful. 1. You can have a section background image. So you set up a section, place your button and text in the section, and then select the section and upload a background image. 2. You can just export the image as a whole and then just link the whole image. The custom will see a button but then 3. You might need to design it just a button and then link the button without an image behind it. FYI, the next video we're working on is a revisit of the template editor, just because our current video is using the old editor and there are some design workflow design improvements we want to showcase. I hope something in here was helpful.
Hi Charnise, unfortunately not, you can sometimes cancel it and it will stop sending more, but once it's gone out, there's not editing available. I recommend you send another, customers are very understanding.
Thank you for reaching out with your query. The 'Email & SMS Popup' is a single-step form where visitors can provide their email address and phone number simultaneously. It's straightforward and captures all desired information at once. Conversely, the 'Multi-step email & SMS' form takes a sequential approach. Initially, it asks for an email address on the first screen. Then, once the email is submitted, it progresses to the second screen to request additional information like a phone number. This method can often reduce the perceived effort for the user and potentially increase the chances of at least capturing their email. We employ this strategic approach to gently guide users through the process, reducing friction and making it more likely to collect their details. While some visitors may opt not to provide a phone number, this two-step process ensures that we capture essential contact information before asking for more. I hope this clears up the differences for you. If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to ask.

-Basic
-Import
-My Templates
-Shopify Notification Templates
There's no "Use new editor" option to build Master Template.

Thank you
Hi there, (a) on the profile, we’re you added to the list? (b) did you turn off double opt in?
@@emailexperts Hey, yeah I'm added to the list on a few different emails, and double opt in is turned off
Hi Rely, that's peculiar. Try these steps if you haven't yet (some may apply to other readers):

Hi thank you so much for the detailed video, i was just wondering if you would know why it would not send the welcome email with discount code once customer has signed up
Hi there, thanks for your kind words.
For the welcome email, there are a couple of points where it could be getting stopped:
1. Make sure that you have double opt in turned off
2. Make sure the email address is being added to the list
3. Make sure the list is connected to the flow
Hi Terra Bella Soap, so you can't see the SMS checkbox or dropdown to choose a list? How odd. Have you activated SMS in your account?
Great video. Question: when syncing Shopify subscribers to Klaviyo why check out sign ups is the list you recommend? Wouldn't website sign ups make more sense?
Hi mmlg24, what are you trying to achieve by sending them to the website sign ups list separately?
@@emailexperts @emailexperts Thank you very much for taking time to respond to my comment with such value,

We had a system behind this promotional email.
if the already subscriber engaged with it,
We moved him automatically to the email campaign and started receiving emails
to watch VSL...
If he don't engage or don't open the email at all,
he keeps receiving the weekly email without noticing we had a promotion on going
It was a system well structured,

Also, in case this is helpful: as a Klaviyo newbie, I'd love to see a video on how to design for dark mode!
Hi, how to do A/B testing in klaviyo?
Hi AnnBits, that's a big question, thanks for the idea, we will add that to the list of things we'll make a video of. You can AB test Campaigns, Flows and Forms, which is most important to you right now?
I just did that for my store some months ago and someone just helped me with that.
Everything but the app part under the add section in my Shopify themes were able to be found. How do I fix this?

@@emailexperts Got it. Thank you for responding!
Hi Charnise, is this "Added to cart" or "Checkout started"? Also what is your ecommerce platform?
I followed you for the welcome offer, but once I tried testing it with my real email I haven't received any email
Hi Charnise, there are many steps to this process. So check each of these.
1. Check that the form is connected to the list
2. Test the form; add an email address to the form and see if it's added to the list (this is the most common issue, you might need to remove double opt in)
3. If the email is going to the list, check that the list is connected to the flow.
4. Check the rules of the flow to make sure no rule is blocking the email from going out
But doesn't enabling "sync shopify email subscribers" also collect native Shopify opt-in forms? For example, the default footer form?
You could do this if you want. I don't for my clients. The issue with using using the default footer form is that then every subscriber will to be put into a single list, regardless of the signup source. I prefer to keep the checkout signups distinctive from the footer/popup signups.
If you're not bothered, then you can set it up, but then the section on segments won't be as applicablae. If you want to follow all of our future videos, it will make more sense if you use separate lists.
What is the best way to get in touch with you?
Right here, how can I help?
How do I do I do this on my Wordpress website that is intergrated with woocommerce? especially the pop up forms, the embedded form and the checkout form.
Hi Brandon, we don't have that prepared yet, sorry I can't give you a timeline for when we'll have that live.
How do you change your profile avatar on klaviyo?
Not sure which profile avatar you're talking about.
Again please how do we gather all the emails ?
Hi happy to help. Let em know more about what you're trying to do and I'll do my best to help.
How can I make a newsletter series send automatically?
Happy to help. What do you want to do exactly?
Thanks. :) I'm about to make my first paid newsletter site and I'm thinking of trying the yith woocommerce subscription plugin with Klaviyo. And how can I make it so that the newsletters are sent only to subscribers@@emailexperts
Thanks for the context. It's going to depend on how many subscribers you have. Unfortunately I don't know much about the Yith WooCommerce plugin, but this video is our most comprehensive, and definitely goes through marketing consent, I hope it's useful to you. Let me know if you get stuck.
Hello! when I go to shopify integrations, I dont see the "subscribers" section to make those changes. Is there another way to get to this?
Hi there, the interface has changed a little bit since this video was recorded. It is now under "Sync settings" "From Shopify" "Sync data from Shopify". I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other issues.
thanks for the video, however, I am still trying to understand some steps. I have the abandoned cart checkout flow set up already. Now I am trying to set up a flow for customers who visited the website added to the cart but did not get to the checkout page. I was told I have to install a snippet to my team liquid, but I did not see where you install any snippet in the video. so I am really confused. Please can you help
See 59:53
@@emailexperts I cant find the add to cart button that you used on my Klaviyo. Please, can i get a one on one session with you, please
Hello sir... When setting up my segment the last option that said subscribe to list isnt available in my klayvio... Please help
Thanks for the question. In the latest version of Klaviyo, when you set up your segment, you'll see these options:
What someone has done (or not done)
Properties about someone
If someone is or is not within the EU (GDPR)
Someone's proximity to a location
If someone is in or not in a list
Hello sir the only abandoned cart option that I have has an email attached to it
happy to help, can you summarise what you're trying to do and what you've tried?
@@emailexperts I'm trying to setup my abandoned cart flow but the only checkout abandonment trigger that I see has an SMS attached to it not email alone like yours
I see, if you don't want to have an SMS, you should be able to delete it. Let me know if you have any other questions.
So does the customer get both the browse abandonment and abandoned checkout codes? Or does they get it whatever triggers first?
Hi Premvir, I can't know for sure without more information, but here's how I investigate the issue:
1. The Email may have gone to the spam folder
2. The Email may have not sent
3. The Email may have not been received by the server
On point 1.
Quick question, are the website signups emails the same as signups on the coming soon page (password protected page)?
Great question! Both will feed into Klaviyo however you can have them feeding into separate Lists. The sign ups from the "coming soon" page are connected via the Shopify integration; so the subscribers will go to whichever list you connect Shopify. When you set up an embed form, you can choose the list, and if you follow this tutorial from start to end, it will be a different list. You can make a segment that incorporates both.
When I input the url for the cart button it takes me to the main website page instead of the checkout portion
Hi Charnise, it might be a temporary issue. I'm seeing this with some of my clients today. If it doesn't resolve, please come back and leave a comment.
@@emailexperts okay thank you
@@emailexperts how can I become a client of yours?
Hi Charnise, oh we're so flattered. At the moment we don't have a service offering for small businesses because I haven't figured out how to do something that's cheap enough to generate a return higher than our fee.
I am working on a course, it will be released soon, and that is really aimed at entrepreneurs and email marketers. It will be technical, useful and advanced stuff. If that's interesting to you, you can join the waitlist here: shaun150.typeform.com/to/P7lm26Fk
Hi, can we import file from figma as a template in Klaviyo?
The custom will see a button but then
3. You might need to design it just a button and then link the button without an image behind it.
FYI, the next video we're working on is a revisit of the template editor, just because our current video is using the old editor and there are some design workflow design improvements we want to showcase.
I hope something in here was helpful.
Can I edit a SMS campaign once it’s gone out? The link broke 😩
Hi Charnise, unfortunately not, you can sometimes cancel it and it will stop sending more, but once it's gone out, there's not editing available.
I recommend you send another, customers are very understanding.
Instead of subscribe to a list I only have the option subscribe to a stock box, is that alright
Hi Francesco, which part of the video are you referring to?
We have 2 sign up forms there, `Email & SMS Popup` & `Multi-step email & SMS`. What`s the difference?? Total newbie here
Thank you for reaching out with your query.
Hey there, I was following you step by step and I have some problems with the Browse Abandonment flow. For some reason it doesn't work for me when I copy and paste from the old editor and I rechecked for like a 100 times if I'm doing something wrong but I can't find the problem. Can you please help me out?
When I preview and test instead of the whole table it only shows "price:"
Hi Aron, have you tested to make sure the on site code is working to show “viewed product” In Klaviyo? You need to preview with real browsing data
@aron, have you made sure the "Viewed Product" event is coming through to your Klaviyo account? See 22:40. It needs to have all of the specific details on the event, and this event is the trigger for the flow.
@@emailexperts yep now it works just had to go onto my store and view a product! Thank you so much for the help, really liked the video super in depth!
