Hey man, just wanted to say thank you. Your videos are by far the best S1 tutorials I’ve seen. You cover *everything* so simply and slowly for beginners like myself. I’ve learned more from you in a week than I have in 4 months with other channels. Cheers! 🙏

Great video. I appreciate the detail you have provided. It is very useful. As a long time Studio One user I would think I should know
some of the detail you provided but did not or simply did not realize. Thank you again. Keep up the great work. Will be checking
    more of your videos..🖖🖖🖖

Cheers For the Tutorial !! Fantastic ! Your an excellent teacher. If it's helpful , I'd like to mention one more thing that I just figured out with Pattern after watching your video and doing some searching.. If you want to take all the Instrument parts that you have created in pattern and turn them into individual event tracks for further editing. It's possible. Right click on the event, go to "Instrument" Convert the the "pattern" into a "part" then "explode pitches to tracks".

XNB should be part of the studio one release or PreSonus sphere package, he knows how to teach, so brief but so detailed and easy to understand. I swear I have been a subscriber to PreSonus sphere for almost a year and it is kind of hard for me as a newbie in music production to learn and understand studio one. today i stumbled across this channel and oh my God! it's like I came across a light bulb that is just opening my brain and making me understand. I was always looking on how one can create different parts of a song and because i didn't know what that was, I could not find it anywhere on youtube or PreSonus sphere, today I know how to create a parten and vary it depending on the part of the song you are on. I know I am probably not making sense with my explanation, but this video is more valuable than what I am subscribed to with PreSonus sphere. I know the PreSonus sphere is really valuable and a good platform but mostly for people with knowledge already of the software and maybe music production. This channel is priceless, I wish it can be added to the presonus sphere, it has saved me from being frustrated. XNB THANK YOU SO MUCH!

WOW thanks man. The thing is that, sometimes when companies pay people to create resources, they just get the job done and call it a day.
In my case, no one pays me. So everything I do, I do it with love and passion. I am not thinking about the paycheck. I think about the final result above all things to be the best possible.
I have a lot of experience teaching, so the planning, organization of sections is very easy for me. Sometimes companies hire musicians and not teachers, so the result is a good musician not knowing how to communicate and plan how to present the material. That is bad, because they miss their main purpose...teach.
Anyhow, thanks for the comment :)

I just found this video. I've been using Studio One for years and always thought that there must be an easier way to create patterns. Now I know. Thank you so much. I'll buy you a cup of coffee.
If you haven't already done so, please make a video on how to send midi program changes from Studio One. I'm trying to control my Fractal guitar processor and have yet to find a decent video. I figured out some things on my own but need help.
    Thanks again!!!!!

Patterns is one of the main reasons i use studio one, and skip bitwig. I like bitwig alot but im not a fan of their piano roll and i really hope they introduce pattern clips soon.

    • @XNBeatsMusic

they are great. You can do something similar with loop and operators, but still for "electronic" producers the Patterns feature is a win.

Great, thanks for this, the pattern feature actually allows sequencing of midi instruments and swapping variations on the fly in a live session which can be recorded so the use of live instruments isn't hampered by the need to use the loop function, exactly what i was looking for in order to record live sets with rd9 td3 and midi keyboard live looping/sequencing . Just getting my head around it but this feature is incredible, although a few more keyboard shortcuts to easily change pattern variation would be good. Sadly when I try to activate the record pattern in a live setting it stops the main recording unless I use a mouse. Apart from that this feature has masses of potential for a live environment.

    • @XNBeatsMusic
      @XNBeatsMusic  Рік тому +1

@@blackout2able Bitwig is one of the most outside of the box DAW, that is why we love it. Still, if I had to cherry pick things from S1 and merge them with Bitwig, patterns is one of them. All DAW´s have cool features others don´t.
Just answering, "think outside the box" is a bad response don´t you think ?. Just be a bit more friendly man, we are all musicians here, doesn´t matter which DAW you use.
