The benefits are very good (and super affordable) and I enjoy going to work more days than not. Just make sure the pay matches what you will need to live in Orlando - it's not cheap anymore.
i love how forbidden journey is basically walk on now. one great memory i have is going with my grandpa on my dcp he had just bought a butterbeer and we knew it would go quick but not as fast as it really did. we stood in the room with harry, ron, and hermione while he finished his butterbeer. then we got back on the path towards the ride.
I just watched your Busch Gardens video and now this one. I also just love the way you talk about the rides as well as describe the different parts of the rides. I highly recommend whenever you get the chance to check out Eejanaika at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan. Much love brother!!
ill never forget my expirience with velocicoaster, i got on once i talked with an employee because of my jojo tattoo when i got out HE LET ME THROUGH THE LOCKER AREA AGAIN! i only had to wait like 20 minutes on a 80 minute wait, i got on the last chair it was amazing

Great review! Universal studios/IOA is my happy place. Also, I think the first Jurassic World movie is worth a watch but after that you aren’t missing anything.

If you had a blast without even getting on Spiderman or JP River Adventure then this is definitely your favorite park! River Adventure is unfortunately very run down and in need of major refurbishment but I enjoy it for the nostalgia and the drop.
I’ve done the river adventure in LA. The original and with the Jurassic world stuff. The ride is fun. Just didn’t wanna do something I’ve done before that’s just ok in a park filled with other amazing stuff!
Hagrids was the one ride I missed because wait times were wild. But I really enjoyed my time there. I will say for those who are bigger - there are tester seats so you can see if you will have issues. Unfortunately my husband had a hard time with most of the fun rides so we found other things to do. We did express but you miss a lot of stuff doing express so people should try to do regular if you can, if wait times aren’t too bad. Great review!
I was there recently too, waited nearly 1.75 hours for Hagrids and even got rained on a bit in the line and during the ride. I got lucky two times now and got to ride the front row on both the motorcycle and the sidecar on separate visits to IoA. Velocicoaster I waited a bit over an hour for, but rode it after dark and it was an awesome experience. Forbidden Journey was a walk on for me too, and Hulk had a small 10 minute wait. I was upset that Spiderman was closed during my visit, I always ride that one on my visits to IoA.
Velocicoaster is my first ever real Coaster and what made me fall in love with coasters! Yeah I was 40 (2022) when I rode it 2 years ago but better late than never! Just went to Busch Gardens Tampa and Sea World Orlando over Christmas 20224 and man.. loved every minute of it!! Gwazi, Montu, Kraken, Mako, Manta, Sheikra, Tigris, Ice Breaker, Cheetah.. I'm officially in love with them all!! Being from Western Canada.. my next coaster trek is out east at Canada's Wonderland this summer. I hear some of those coasters are absolutely insane!! Can't wait for Leviathan, Yukon Striker and Behemoth!!

We got Ruby Passes after being stuck in Velocicoaster brake run for 30 minutes! So we waited 20 minutes for Hagrids, then later for a night ride we walked straight to that last cave, so we had 2 under 25 minutes lines in a row for Hagrids!

first time i rode VC, i got back row. front row is fine. back row is BEAST also, hagrids, hulk, and dudley doright are all great. the only thing that makes me visit UO instead of IOA is diagon alley > hogsmeade

If you ever ride it again just try to keep your head pressed back to the seat, and plant your feet on the seat in front of you. It will give you more stability, so you don't feel so out of control. Though I personally enjoy being tossed around. :p
Hagrids Locker system needs moved as currently you can only take throw away drinks in the hour line. A bit of a bummer if you paid for a refillable cup. Otherwise free locker systems need added to every park.

Great video, the only thing I disagree on is when you said “I hope the Hulk never goes away” because the Hulk and my head don’t like each other, you can only ride it so many times until you get to hate it.
@ I don’t think that is a priority for Universal, plus it looks beautiful and very eye candy for the park, I thought I was the only person that hated this ride but on the Universal AP official facebook page someone posted a poll about if one needs to go, Hulk vs Mummy and the results and comments were overwhelmingly negative for Hulk, but hey, it can stay just give us some more Intamins and Mack coasters.

Get there as early as u can. Know the locker policies. If ur doing water rides, bring fresh socks or different waterproof shoes/clothes in general to wear. They are no joke
Honestly i loved IoA last time i was there even though Velociacoaster and Hagrid’s weren’t built yet maybe things have changed there and got worse who knows because it was awhile ago but honestly i thought those rides would make the park better.
Honestly I get why some people like Velocicoaster but for me it just ain't it. Maybe its because the first time I tried to ride it I was in line for 6 HOURS and it shut down right as I was about to get on for the rest of the night. I almost wrote off IOA in general cause it left a bad taste in my mouth. I ended up going again recently and it was good but I objectively look at the layout of coasters not the theming cause I don't really care about it at all. The first half is pretty slow all considered but still fun. The second half is much better and a top tier ride but the mosasaurus roll was good just kind of uncomfortable, that's probably why I still enjoy the death roll more. Also when I rode it in the back it had a nasty rattle like not as bad as Kumba but very noticeable that deteriorated the ride experience for me. I guess this is all to say I understand why people like the ride it just isn't it for me. Its still the best in the park probable but like probably number 3 in Florida for sure for me.
I still think Gwazi is better, its more intense. Velocicoaster is still great, its just at some points its boring where as gwazi is just element after element.
I still prefer iron gwazi to velocicoaster. While velocicoaster has a more varied layout, I love the unbridled intensity of gwazi and the numerous ejector airtime

Maybe its because the first time I tried to ride it I was in line for 6 HOURS and it shut down right as I was about to get on for the rest of the night. I almost wrote off IOA in general cause it left a bad taste in my mouth. I ended up going again recently and it was good but I objectively look at the layout of coasters not the theming cause I don't really care about it at all. The first half is pretty slow all considered but still fun. The second half is much better and a top tier ride but the mosasaurus roll was good just kind of uncomfortable, that's probably why I still enjoy the death roll more. Also when I rode it in the back it had a nasty rattle like not as bad as Kumba but very noticeable that deteriorated the ride experience for me. I guess this is all to say I understand why people like the ride it just isn't it for me. Its still the best in the park probable but like probably number 3 in Florida for sure for me.

I still think Gwazi is better, its more intense. Velocicoaster is still great, its just at some points its boring where as gwazi is just element after element.

I still prefer iron gwazi to velocicoaster. While velocicoaster has a more varied layout, I love the unbridled intensity of gwazi and the numerous ejector airtime
