I’m about 5’7-5’8 and I personally loved Pipeline. The restraint setup definitely is not the greatest but the sensation of standing sustained floater airtime is just so unique and fun to me. I generally really like standup coasters though, Green Lantern pre closure and Riddler also slap

Because you were curious… I’ve been on Pipeline twice. I’m 5,11”, and maybe I have tiny balls, but I LOVE this ride. For me, the key was relaxation; I just let the ride take me where it wanted. With every coaster, I feel its intention, and I prepare for it. I could feel the “seat“ against my undercarriage, I could see the track, and I knew I had to be light on my feet. You have to allow the forces of nature carry you on this ride. If you try to stay grounded, you will have a bad time. It’s a surfing coaster, and like real surfing, you can’t be afraid of nature taking you along for the ride

5'10 guy. I found the restraints on Pipeline uncomfortable while waiting for the launch to start, but once the ride began, all I could notice was how fun the the airtime and having my feet leave the ground was. Only went on it once because it had the longest line in the park by an order of magnitude, but I would have marathoned it if I could have. I would prefer restraints that don't dig into my collarbone, but the actual ride experience was pure bliss.

seaworld used to be so amazing. me and my friends went on a school trip one time, there was pretty much nobody attending the park that day (sometime around 2014-15, before the food prices got _crazy_ inflated (instead of a little inflated 😂😂)), so me and my buddies got to ride the kraken literally a dozen times. there was no line, just us, so eventually the ride operator just let us ride it like 5-6 times in a row, just stopped the train in the station to make sure we were good and then sent us off again. probably the best time ill ever have at any themepark, ever 😊 it was truely amazing. shoutout to that ride operator , who was running the whole thing by himself aswell 😂😂😂 dude was legit. pretty sure this was before it got the vr retheming but they had advertisements for it in the future i distinctly remember. it still had the original blue paint but it was very faded. but the staff, food, and general vibe is just so gone from the seaworld i first remember (2010ish) that i cant really describe it

@@FaceRippedOff As much as I enjoy velocicoaster as a whole, there isn't much standout elements other than the second launch and mosasaurous roll. Even the top hat after the second launch is underwhelming because the breaks at the top grind the ride to a halt.
I personally LOVE Pipeline at 6’1” Never felt like the positives slammed me into the floor - but I also think it’s better towards the front of the train.

i went to howl o scream for the first time and that exact same thing happened to us. only difference was we were trying to swim our way through the crowds exiting the park to figure out where we were supposed to be 😂
As a guy that’s 5’7 and has ridden pipe line I actually love it how surprising the air time is on that ride, it does kinda suck when you’re getting stapled but even then I think height does play a role in your experience. Either that or I just like getting my ass kicked

My boyfriend is a long-time SeaWorld + marine animal lover (about to be there two sundays in a row 😅) and as a coaster lover I think it's the perfect choice for a favorite park. if you're back in the area I HIGHLY recommend the Orca Encounter and the Antartica exhibit
Man I have not heard someone mention the saw like trap that is your hairy shins on premier ride trains. I’m so glad to feel validated cause that stuff hurts like mad.
living in Tampa, we get over SWO a few times a year (yes, we go to BGT all the time!). My wife and I are are always back row riders on coasters. Was not impressed with pipeline in the back row. Decided, on a whim, to ride in the front row. It's a much better ride in the front row. Harness still sucks, but at least the ejector airtime moments are really fun when you float and the slam down isn't quite as bad.
There's no Sea World annual pass that gets you into Howl O Scream for free.First time I rode Penguin Trek they let us go out through one of those doors before the exhibit.The other times I've ridden it they didn't allow it so I don't know what's going on there.I like Pipeline but on one of my first rides the restraints did make my collar bone sore,I didn't realize why it was sore until I rode it again and realized it was the restraint that caused it but on future rides it hasn't happened .
@FaceRippedOff I have that one as well,the platinum pass.Busch Gardens in Tampa gets you in free the first weekend of Howl O Scream,then everyone pays.Sea World in Orlando is never free but you can get tickets for like $30.Busch Gardens in Virginia Howl O Scream is included with regular park admission.I did all these three this year.They may have let you in if you showed up super late and just said F-it,just let him in.

When I went to my local SeaWorld park in San Antonio for Halloween, I was wearing this killer clown gaiter with my costume and once the employees in their scary costumes came out and started scaring the customers this security guard asked me if I work there and I said no then the security guards told me to take off my clown gaiter and wouldn't leave me alone until I took it off. They had employees in their clown costumes walking around and scary people but I was different from the others. I also wore a Nightmare Before Christmas shirt and light up neckless as well as a SpongeBob tie to go with my clown costume and circuses are always getting away with copyright and infringement. I really don't like how United Parks doesn't train their employees except for the ones that work with the animals. Everyone who works with the animals at their parks has to get a Bacheller's degree to work with any of their animals their even this dog that my local SeaWorld has for one of their ambassadors.
penguin trek forced exhibit made me hate that ride 1/10, actually 0/10 for the rattle. Rode Mako for 3 hours straight on a quiet day when we were there, operators didnt kick us off and even dispatched the last ride just as the park closed. 10/10 for ride and staff, Gwazi staff can fuck off.
