I drug my man to the thrift store yesterday to see if we could find a bread machine and we found a Breadman Ultimate Plus for $7.99. This thing is amazing and the first recipe I tried it out with this morning was your banana bread recipe. We both went crazy over it and now the whole loaf is almost gone and it's only been a few hours. I also made a spin off of the slow cooker meatloaf you showed in another video and it's his favorite thing I've made so far. You are such an inspiration for me to be the best housewife I can be. We both want to start a family and are just praying on the Lord to give us our own little blessings. Watching your vlogs help me keep positivity and have faith that we will be blessed when the time is right.
yum! if I'm making a ton of batches or I want to have the dry stuff prepped, I will take 6 or so ziploc bags and place all the preportioned dry ingredients in each bag like an assembly line, then put all my dry stuff away, and zip up my bags and leave the bags there for me for when I need them so I don't have to worry about measuring that part out. it helps things move along a lot faster. you can do this with paper bags as well.
That's what I did. Thank you. I bought a greenhouse off a guy IN Wisconsin, he gave me a pint of his applesauce. To make up for three b. bread bananas for two loafs. Loafs, loughs, whatever.
Your joyful spirit is so contagious!! After watching your videos I find myself smiling and I am so much more energetic during my long work day!! Thank you for sharing!!
I am a fan of yours - I've seen all your videos and bought a bread machine because of your videos. I love how clean your kitchen counters are --- it's amazing! I'm a single 39 year old single woman and I can't even keep my counters that clean!
You are the most amazing mom. Love how you "go with the flow" with your children. Love your videos. Still love your frozen PB&Js. Taking notes for future granndchildren!
I bake a lot of banana bread, which is my hubby's favorite, and applesauce bread, which is my son's favorite. When I don't have enough bananas for the recipe I make up the difference with applesauce. Most of the time you can't even tell the difference. Love your videos!😊
You truly are encouraging! I love your videos. I picked up a cheap used bread machine after watching your videos. I haven't perfected the bread dough like when I was making it by hand but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it... and using the bread machine is such a time saver with homeschooling and a new baby. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
God bless! You’re recording your video and you have your children helping. Awesome! Not only you were very precise given instructions about making the cake but you were multitasking and paying close attention to your children as well . You’re are wonderful...thanks!!! 🏆🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
+jewellm61 you can just use it to make the dough! I do two loaves of Portuguese sweet bread at a time this way. I dislike the hook mark when you go to cut the loaf
+veronica vatter - Yeah, I knew about that. I recently saw a video on You Tube that showed how to prevent the dough hook from getting lodged into the loaf and getting baked! Listen for the phase to let you know the rise cycle is ending and the bread is going to bake. Unplug the machine. Pick up the dough, unscrew the dough hook and put it where you can go get it later and screw it back in the bread machine. Shape the dough into a nice shape and put it back into the basket. Plug it back. I don't know if you should repeat the rise step or go straight to bake. I haven't baked bread yet, but I would add at least 5 minutes at the end of the rise cycle, then go straight into the bake cycle. e bread will bake with no worry of the dough hook baking in the bottom of the loaf!
Never thought of using brown sugar but I know it must add some great flavor. I love brown and even use it in my coffee when I have some which is not often since I have switched to tea. Again, I am amazed at your endless patience and soft words when dealing with your children. God bless you! You remind me of a Proverbs 31 woman.
Your teen son in the backround always seem so focused, and calm. All your kids seem so happy and I appreciate these videos a lot. I am young, and unmarried with no children, yet but I l always learn so much from you!
Oh my gosh!! I was told this was impossible. I need another bread machine now that I know this trick I will be using mine ALOT more. Thank you for posting this!!
Could you show more recipes for bread machine, like corn bread etc. Thank you have never been really good with mine so I put it away. Thanks again love you videos
I LOVE this recipe! I usually don’t have enough bananas either. I find that adding that extra cup of another fruit works great, I’ve used frozen blueberries, and frozen raspberries.
So glad I watched this! I was going to make banana bread and saw you use the mixer on the bananas and remembered that was how I got them to that non lumpy consistency. i thought I put them in food processor, but nope that is what I did.
My Bread machines are my best friends! So many amazing recipes out there! This looks fantastic! Your cornbread was a hit and if our bananas ever last long enough I'll need to make some banana bread! If anyone is interested in a healthy oil replacement in baking, just use equal parts of applesauce. Works every time. God Bless!
I made this last night and it is amazing. I would reduce the sugar for my next one as I found it just a bit too sweet but that could also be because my bananas were very ripe. Thank you xxx
I was just saying yesterday that I need to make banana bread to use up the rest of our bananas. And I forgot I wanted to make it until I saw this video! Trying this recipe now! Thanks! :)
OMG... I never watched back then. Only have watched since you found the current home (2022) and were preparing for that move. Time sure flies by and suddenly we are changed.
Today I tried your corn bread recipe. It tastes great. It was my first time to bake corn bread. Next time I will try your banana bread! Greetings from Germany!
Jamerrill!!! A video almost every day, I'm so proud of you mama, your channel is growing! Thank you for putting in so much effort💜💜💜 i love your videos
I just started your banana bread recipe in my bread machine I am excited to see how it comes out this is my second time using it . Thanks for all your recipes you share. I also am trying chicken pot pie in my crockpot 😊👍🏻
trying this right now 😱 I popped some chocolate chips in (ok alot of chocolate chips) and my goodness between that and my slow cooker bolognase my house smells delishous hehe. so grateful for this chanel, massive love from my little loving family 2 your big loving family xx
I dug out my bread machine from the closet. I hadn’t used it in years and I never even realized it had a quick bread setting on it😂 I love being able to bake some thing without heating at my house. I live in Arizona and next week it’s gonna get up to 100° and it’s only April☹️
Thanks for sharing your recipe. I love your channel as I'm a homeschool mama to 6 kids in the complete opposite environment (urban setting, small apartment) So it's cool to see similarities and differences! Also, I always put 1-2 tbs of molasses in my banana bread and it REALLY makes the flavor pop. Try it!
Great video, when I make my Banana Bread in my Bread Machine I always add a little lemon juice so that the banana's don't turn dark. You can't taste it, it just helps with the color of the bread (I like the yellow color). I sometimes add walnuts to it also. Thanks for sharing!!!
Currently making it in my bread machine! We’ll see how it turned out. I added vanilla extract. I didn’t see that in the written recipe? I feel like that’s a must for a banana bread recipe.
I will try this for sure. I usually make banana bread in the oven but its over 102 degrees here, so my crock pot and bread machine are my best friends now :))
Those look amazing. Question for you, wouldn't it be easier to make up the batter for multiple loaves and pour it in the bread makers? Keep up the wonderful work.
Hi Jamerrill! I have been following you for about a week or two now. I want to say how truly encouraging you are! I have been so blessed, encouraged and inspired by the messages you have in your videos, so thank you for taking time out of your day to not just film, but edit all these videos! You are honestly such an inspiration to me. I have been married for 5 years, and we have a 2.5yr old son. Our dream is to homeschool our kids (we want 3-4, but God may have a different plan), I was just wondering if you could share the scriptures you write on your hand in your videos? I have started doing the same thing and find it so good! When I'm having a tough time during the day, I can quickly glance at my hand and be encouraged and surrounded by God's word all throughout the day! God bless x
For people who are new to bread machines, it really is better to take the pans out, and fill the pans with the ingredients or already mixed up batter, and then put the pans back into the machines. Much less risk of getting ingredient spillage outside of the pans and down into the wells which has started fires. If you find a machine at a thrift store, then look to see that it has a paddle, that the pan is in good condition, and that it comes out and reseats well, and also that the lid closes properly. My thrift store does not allow testing, so do what you can to check it out, but be willing to accept that not all the cycles will work properly.
Oh my God Jamerrill Stewart you are beautiful. 💋I hope everyone is okay today, the kids are so cute. I really appreciate you letting this video outlive, even though I am a few years late. Listening to you today was exactly what I needed., it was my birthday yesterday and I was so sad until this very moment. And you're the sweetest, especially with the kids, I love you, sweetie, stay yourself forever. Oh ya, and can't wait to try out the banana bread, but seriously I can watch you all day cook stuff and talk about it. You the sweetest Missy. Have a wonderful Summer this summer and stay safe. 💋
This looks like quite a good recipe. The one I use for my younger siblings is quite similar though also add cinnamon (like a half teaspoon a loaf, I think). I'd suggest trying it with some cinnamon added, my brothers all love it and your family might to :)
I have one, but not used I lost Manuel ....I just wand banana bread recipe as easy as this one and wheat/ white bread? Any idea where together bread machine recipes for dummies? Needs to be simple, I have arthritis hard on my hands when I bake bread ! The old way !! Love your program ...such a good mom and I'm amazed at how you manage everything you do !
That looks fantastic Jamerrill! Great recipe.. I add a few tablespoons of ground Flax and then usually one (or more 😉) of the following.. shredded coconut, chopped walnuts or pecans.. and for a treat chocolate chips! Kiddos love it! Thanks for showing how it comes out in the bread machine.. never thought to do that! Another wonderful video!
Bought a Cuisinart bread machine from my favorite thrift store for a whopping $5 . Can't wait to try this and many more of your quick bread recipes in it . Also bought a Cuisinart coffee maker with the stainless steel carafe' for $6. Best coffee maker I have ever owned in my life . No Lie !
Loved the video and your recipe. However, two cups of bananas was too much for my Breadman and the center was not cooked. I've been using bread machines for years and knew that I just had too much moisture. Tried again with 1 cp. of banana and it came out perfectly. My daughter said she adds more flour if it looks too liquid during the "long mix". Great recipe. Thanks!
@@DragonflyArtz1 No, @robynneleighe4744 was correct. If you look at the (single loaf) recipe on her website, she lists "1-2 cups of mashed bananas (2 cups is perfect. I’ve made it work with 1 cups many times though)." My loaf also did not cook through using 2 cups.
I hope you got all you loaves done. Have you ever added cinnamon to your banana bread? My mom does and it's so good! I love your measuring cups and spoons. Super cute!
Great video. I love banana bread. The convenience as well. This recipe can be used in any brand of bread machine? I notice you have two different one's. Also it didn't quite bake completely. Is this a given? I will need to set the bake time longer to finish baking the bread. I can't wait to make my own. Thank you for sharing such deliciousness.
Yum, love banana bread! We are making it this week as well, but I'm letting my daughter use a recipe from her cook book so it is a little different than yours. But I will have to try this one next.
I made this recipe using 3 ripe bananas. I used the quick btead setting. It did not get done in the center. There is no bake only cycle!. So is probably not going to get done. Any ideas?
That looks great! I've never tried using my breadmaker for quick breads, but that would be super helpful for our large family. Thanks for sharing!!! -Janelle from Parsnips and Parsimony
Janelle, your pizza dough in the bread machine is awesome. I use it whenever i make pizza. Thank you guys, both Janelle and Jamerrill for your encouragement and great advice.
I want to try this recipe but wasn't sure about the loaf size. My only option is my largest setting for the "quick bread" cycle which is 1.5lbs. Your pans and loaves look larger so I wondered if you use the 2lb setting? I might need another machine ;) Thanks! Just found you and SUB'd!

Thats a really great idea! I'm going to do that. Im new at making bread this way, and the prep can take to long.
Any time you are short on bananas you can make up the rest of the amount with some applesauce. That's what I always do :)

That's so cool! I had no idea that bread machines actually mixed it for you. I thought they just cooked it. Now I want a bread machine even more!
Me neither & me too!
I was just the opposite! I didn't know the machine baked!

I'm so glad you had the second kind! I bought a used one and had no idea how to use it.

I LOVE this recipe! I usually don’t have enough bananas either. I find that adding that extra cup of another fruit works great, I’ve used frozen blueberries, and frozen raspberries.
Just finished making and it is delicious. The only thing I had to bake another 40 minutes, but it is excellent! Thank you!!

I love how you involve the kids! (And I love that they want to be involved). My kids would never dream of wanting to help

I love your attitude. Your thrift store finds are great. Nicely done.
I just made this using gluten free flour! Turned out perfectly and is delicious 😀

I will be buying a bread machine soon! so excited to try this!

Just put it all in my bread marker 😁 excited
I made these for the first time for my kids and they loved them xx
your video's put a smile on my face every time I watch!;)

Watching this in March (almost April) of 2023 and crying a little at the $0.59/dozen eggs price at Aldi's Jamerrill mentioned.
I’m watching on 4/2/23 and noticed those $.59 egg price too. Hate this food inflation prices!
Ugh I need one of those bread machines now! Looks so helpful! You are such a great other and such an inspiration!

I really need to invest in a bread machine! I try to limit my use of the oven during the hot summer months :) Thanks for the recipe!
thrift yourself one! most of them are brand new at the Goodwill by me!
I 💕 the verse on the hand idea! Gonna try it today!!! -Mandy
This looks like quite a good recipe. The one I use for my younger siblings is quite similar though also add cinnamon (like a half teaspoon a loaf, I think). I'd suggest trying it with some cinnamon added, my brothers all love it and your family might to :)
Really excited to try this recipe, looks so delicious!
Do thrift stores check to see if bread machines work? What a great idea to have two machines going at the same time! Genius.
Thanks alot for the lovely recipe
I have one, but not used I lost Manuel ....I just wand banana bread recipe as easy as this one and wheat/ white bread?
Any idea where together bread machine recipes for dummies? Needs to be simple, I have arthritis hard on my hands when I bake bread ! The old way !! Love your program ...such a good mom and I'm amazed at how you manage everything you do !
Oops....I also use raisins , or nuts. Wonderful....

First comment! :D I love that there are already so many likes and views for it only being listed on youtube for 4 minutes!
I like these machines! thanks for the info on them and the recipe!😆
I also add cinnamon and vanilla and walnuts
That looks fantastic Jamerrill! Great recipe.. I add a few tablespoons of ground Flax and then usually one (or more 😉) of the following.. shredded coconut, chopped walnuts or pecans.. and for a treat chocolate chips! Kiddos love it! Thanks for showing how it comes out in the bread machine.. never thought to do that! Another wonderful video!
You're my hero !! Xx I look up to you so much xx
My mom used to put some kind of nut in there it was really good. Have you ever tried adding nuts or chocolate chips to yours?
It's delicious with pecans
Yay! I am definitely going to be trying this. :-) Thanks for the recipe!
I am SOOOO going to make banana bread in the bread maker! I heated up the house to make three loaves this morning.
Wow! I need to try!
Thank you for the recipe and video!
No Lie !
Doesn't adding less banana throw off the wet:dry ratio? Does it make the bread dry?
Thanks, it came out great.

Any ideas?
Same here
I always add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the mix..oh so yummy.
I did bread loft 🍞 it's amazing love it 😍 thanks for the recipe
I want to try this recipe but wasn't sure about the loaf size. My only option is my largest setting for the "quick bread" cycle which is 1.5lbs. Your pans and loaves look larger so I wondered if you use the 2lb setting? I might need another machine ;) Thanks! Just found you and SUB'd!
Guess what I'm making today?!? Looks wonderful❤️
