Great video! Do u find that your needle gunks up at all from the glue when satin stitching over the appliques?

Great video!! I'm afraid to satin stitch since I have an old machine. Might have to play around like you said. Does it matter if the applique is non stretch if my gown is stretchy? Could I use this applique paper and then do a needle turn ladder stitch?

Does this work for stretch fabric like Lycra?

Uh, my machine doesn't do that. Welp, hand sewing it is
