10:00 "Huh? What are you guys doing here?" I will pay ATLUS whatever amount of money they want to canonically add the choice in-game where Yu has the option to say "What's up, bitch?" and get some courage "And you kids should really get home too! You're gonna get in the way of police business!" Just for a moment, Dojima was almost not going to ask him why he was taking police work so seriously. For a moment, he was going to ask why he was daring to raise his voice at his nephew
Adachi is so much better than Akechi. Who said a good villain needed a sob story that just coincidentally happens to tie in with the main villain who also did something to the main character? Adachi did it because he couldnt abuse his power as a cop, and because he could get away with it. Such a realistic and well made character imo.
44:14 Yamano: Wut you doing Adachi: *Smooch* Yamano: *Yeteed into TV and dies* 46:20 Saki: No! -I’m with Yosuke, your old- Adachi: *Smooch* Sami: *Yeeted into TV and dies*
I wasn’t and was so fucking shocked when adachi was a choice, because he was acting so weird all the time, but he seemed TOO weird to be evil. And when he confessed to it, i was super stoked like: YES! I GET TO FIGHT HIM!
I gotta say, the one thing I like about Adachi being the culprit is that I did not initially see it being that way. I wouldn't have thought to suspect him. His motives, however, make me think, "...Seriously, dude?" He killed Miss Yamano just because she wouldn't put out for him?
ShadowStar1997 people with Ego which is his Arena title tend to be like i deserve everything Yet he is Just a broken guy who never really had a friend at least his life wasn't as bad as Akechi him wanted a friend going through hardships struggles alone with a bastard father Yet his action are unjustified and unforgivable
Don't forget that he was going to rape her or something up against the TV wall. He didn't know that there's a TV world, so that explains his motives. It makes complete sense. What's the confusion, man?
No, he didn't kill her because she wouldn't put out for him. If you look at that confrontation more closely, he didn't really make any moves on her. He took keen interest in her yes, since he saw her on the Midnight Channel beforehand and was under the impression that because she was on the channel, that she was his soulmate. But the real reason he got angry at Yamano was because he had known that the news was talking about her having an affair with Namatame (a married man and politician), and from the way she answered his question, he realized that her affair with Namatame was legit. This pissed him off because he thought it was an injustice that he was "soulmates" with a woman who was known for being in an affair with a married man, and also the very idea that she was in an affair led Adachi to label her as a gold digger. This is a side of Adachi that not many see: the fact that he thinks he always has the moral high ground. He asked Yamano about the affair, and she didn't deny that she was in an affair with Namatame, and thus from Adachi's POV she was a gold digger and a filthy bitch. So in other words, it wasn't because Yamano rejected him, he killer her because he realized Yamano was in a love affair with a married man, and thus came to the conclusion that she was a gold digger.
In the vanilla Persona 4 game, it's pretty easy to figure out that Adachi is the true killer because of all the names in the list (except Misuzu Hiragi, Noriko Kashiwagi, Hanako, Mitsuo Kubo, Taro Namatame and the deceased characters), he is the only one without Social Link.
@Alan I mean she was working at the shopping centre that was putting their family's liquor store out of business. It's a flimsy motive, but Naoki could've viewed Saki's employment there as a betrayal.
I love Adachi as a character, but I wish he was a bit more petty then he already is. He much like the mc had a chance to view the main cast in a more personal light in his interactions. He should make some personal jabs to each of them.
I'm glad I never got this spoiled for me when I played the game because I was genuinely shocked it was Adachi. I actually needed my friend to tell me who to choose as the culprit during the selection (without providing more info, of course. He just said "pick Adachi")
So a friend cosplayed Teddie's human form years back, and for the wig, she layed on the side and sprayed hairspray until it remained. And it looked damn perfect. Still my headcannon for his actual haircut.

Recently watched a bunch of DMC 5 content, and hearing Jonny break bad in this video has me THOROUGHLY CONVINCED that he could be Dan Southworth's kid.
He shouldn't have been aware people like Kanji and Naoto got kidnapped (I think anyways), so him saying that the list of people in the journal proves he was the murderer wasn't logical
Only the Investigation Team, Namatame, and the true killer could have known about the kidnappings that weren't murders. When Naoto mentioned them at Dojima's accident, Adachi seemed to already know that there were other kidnappings. Therefore, he had to be the true killer.
“How does it prove it’s him? Don’t you find it a little odd?” “No one knew about that. At this point, we haven’t told the police about the kidnappings which weren’t murders. But when Naoto read the list, you seem to know this already.” How do you explain that, Adachi?”
Kamui/Kamuy is a Japanese myth about a divine spirit. Alternative Kanji words have positive messages about dreams coming true or living the dream. Like everything else in Persona, it's a literary reference to an ancient Japanese lore that possibly highlights how Teddie has achieved his dream of becoming whole. It's not a shout-out to other popular culture. If that's not evident enough, Naruto and Gintama also had characters named Kamui because of their medieval Japanese motifs. Several people in real life were also named Kamui for its good meaning i.e. mangaka Kamui Fujiwara and WEC racer Kamui Kobayashi.

I can only imagine the absolute jokingly happiness people had when they made Adachi accidently make a slip of the tounge and said "Put them all in", in reference to "Putting them all in the TV world".
47:40 Jesus Christ yosuke went from 0 to 100 real fuckin quick there lmao
He had a crush on Saki Konishi. He was mad as hell when he found out that Adachi killed Saki on purpose

53:15 let’s also add this, it gets me so much
Teddie's turning Super Saiyan!!
lol he's so adorable
Holy shit Adachi O_O
*”You’ve taken another step towards the truth...” intensifies*
39:40 Adachy-baby? The hell!? And how do they know Teddie's misspelling Adachi's name?
Teddie always calls some people with weird or endearing names. I mean, he called Marie as Emmy...
Wtf
ShadowStar1997 Whenever teddie has a hard time saying people’s names he gives them nicknames for him to remember
I got to admit, adachi is great at holding a facade
Yep high tier psychopath
some cops might envy him for his location. Where not much happens they'd not have to work that much
And you know the people you're protecting
Pretty sure Dojima felt like that
Yeah he wanted people to notice him but he didn't actually want to *talk* to them.
I love how when you got to the option of being suspicious about adachi, you slowed down your scrolling. I think it’s neat.
22:29 Tell Nanako yourself she's alive dang it!!
10:00 "Huh? What are you guys doing here?"
I will pay ATLUS whatever amount of money they want to canonically add the choice in-game where Yu has the option to say "What's up, bitch?" and get some courage
"And you kids should really get home too!
Not only that, a person with a mindset like him can possibly exist.
Neutral Player Of LoL Exactly. No, I do not find “I’m going to kill my father with these very special powers after I’m done!!!” intriguing.

Yamano: Wut you doing
Adachi: *Smooch*
Yamano: *Yeteed into TV and dies*
46:20
Saki: No! -I’m with Yosuke, your old-
Adachi: *Smooch*
Sami: *Yeeted into TV and dies*
Adachi: Smooch harder then start doing a thing to her
I can't help but take note of how Teddie says "I'll get the doctor!" like that. It seems so grounded, considering Teddie's usual personality.
ShadowStar1997 people with Ego which is his Arena title tend to be like i deserve everything
Yet he is Just a broken guy who never really had a friend at least his life wasn't as bad as Akechi him wanted a friend going through hardships struggles alone with a bastard father
Yet his action are unjustified and unforgivable
@@edmundpark8107…Oh. I honestly didn’t think Adachi put any stock into that rumor that was swarming around.

Wow, I just watched an hour long cutscenes like I watched many episodes of an anime already!
50:33 Grrrrr, what a jerkwad...!
O
In the vanilla Persona 4 game, it's pretty easy to figure out that Adachi is the true killer because of all the names in the list (except Misuzu Hiragi, Noriko Kashiwagi, Hanako, Mitsuo Kubo, Taro Namatame and the deceased characters), he is the only one without Social Link.
(36:53)
Me: When did you learn to roar like a bear?
Teddie: Uuuuugh... I don't know.
42:43 Adachi just said the name of the track playing on the OST
This game made me wait 6 months to tell my friends that Adachi is the killer, since I played it twice.
I really appreciate you for not spoiling in the video title or thumbnail like a lot of people do, so thank you.
I was so convinced that Saki's younger brother was the killer that when I picked Adachi it shattered my expectations.
Naoki didn't have reason to kill his sister
@@Alan-cm7ye Plus, Naoki has no connection to Mayumi herself
Teddie really is an amazing character. :)
@101supertails He really is. 🥹💖
I literally hate mayumis scream when she gets pushed in the tv like it sounds satirical😂
I LITERALLY LAUGHED WHEN SHE SCREAMED AND IT RUINED THE MOOD LMFAO.
After hearing Teddie's confession, I guess I understand where MatPat was coming from with his theory...
6:55 is where Yosuke would say "Holy hard nipples, it's cold!" in the anime dub.
This scene reminds me of persona 5. A criminal uses another world to commit crimes in a way that nobody could use to connect them to the crime.
I say that's how P5 was born I did like the different approach than the whole shadow plot that persona been doing cant wait until the 2 dancing games and Persona q2 coming and Catherine next year
Persona 5 reminded me of this, since P4 came out first after all.
Except in P5, the true culprit had some sort of redemption before he "died"
Also, their names have 6 letters, start with A- and end with -chi
Goro A’ke’chi!

Anyone realize this? If the Investigation team didnt come to hospital, Adachi might've throw Namatame into Tv, effectively getting rid of key suspect
13:56 Naoto pulling a Detective Columbo right there.
29:10 So THIS is Teddie, his TRUE form! He's a handsome gentleman!!!
I really love this scene because you never doing something like this
Akechi: dammit, I was so close!
Pancakes! Fucking pancakes!
Adachi: first time?
Recently watched a bunch of DMC 5 content, and hearing Jonny break bad in this video has me THOROUGHLY CONVINCED that he could be Dan Southworth's kid.
Can someone explain why Naoto was fixated on what Adachi said, for the life of me I haven't understood since the original game
It's more obvious in the anime since his line changed into: *"Amazing! That basically proves it's him!"*
“How does it prove it’s him? Don’t you find it a little odd?”
“No one knew about that. At this point, we haven’t told the police about the kidnappings which weren’t murders. But when Naoto read the list, you seem to know this already.”
How do you explain that, Adachi?”
Mystery ?

41:24 I FREAKIN’ LAUGHED SO HARD ON THIS! 😂 😂
Coolgame player Ikr 🤣🤣
43:51 I'm cracking up when he said the line at the end
Oh darn...Kamui is his new Persona? Suddenly Fire Emblem Fates is starting to get into the picture...
This came first
Kamui/Kamuy is a Japanese myth about a divine spirit.
Adachi was an incel before incels called themselves incels
ryuji from p5 is just kanji the sequel
I think it's more like Kanji meets Chie
With a pinch of Yosuke.
SomeoneKul For real?
Only Ryuji is straight 😂
Adachi clearly felt bad about what he did to yamano that’s why he was puking so much when he saw she was dead ofc
*As much as I love Adachi, the last thing he would do is "feel bad". Adachi is more of uh "I really just don't care,I do what I want" character. Which makes him a interesting character (and also making him my best persona boi),but I mean Adachi is shown to have some type of trauma and spent a lot of time lonely so I do understand why he did what he did. Bby boi deserves better*
@@RitsuSakuma69 Except no, he doesn't. He's committed at least one count of murder and one count of manslaughter, framing, and has psychopathic tendencies. His childhood honestly does not matter a single bit. He doesn't deserve better than any other murderer, and he deserved everything that came to him.
@@RitsuSakuma69 his parents were the true monsters for turning him into one like them. They seem like the type who'll self-victimise after Adachi is arrested and act as if they didn't do any wrong just to get sympathy from dumbass people.
